We are delighted to be working with a wonderful membership organisation to recruit a part-time Administrator for an initial period of 2 months, with the likelihood of extending and potentially becoming permanent. The role will be office based for the first 2 weeks and hybrid thereafter.
As part of a busy team of 4, you will be responsible for administering membership applications and welcoming new members.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Review and process new member applications, ensuring that applicants meet membership criteria
• Welcome new members and establish reciprocal relationships with high value members. Manage all work-related contacts and membership projects on the Customer Relationship Management database and proactively identify and improve the efficiency of administrative processes
• Assist in invoicing new and renewing membership subscriptions; produce credit notes and refunds resulting from member enquiries and subscription changes
• Monitor and minimise resigning memberships, initiating conversations to persuade them to stay in membership.
• Deal with membership enquiries via phone, email, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
• Assist the senior membership officer to embed good practice in customer service across the team.
• Communicate the benefits of membership to potential member organisations and invite them to join.
• Direct members to relevant benefits included in their membership, help them navigate the organisation’s websites and resources, and signpost them to pertinent teams and other helpful sources.
• Manage work-related contacts and projects on NCVO’s CRM system
• Download reports and segment data
• Responsible for ensuring the contact details and activity records within the database are kept up to date and accurate and within Data Protection Legalisation requirements
• Proactively identify and improve the efficiency of database processes.
Skills and experience required:
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, its component parts, and using databases
• Knowledge of the voluntary sector
• Excellent communication and influencing skills- orally and in written form
• Act on own initiative, prioritise a heavy workload, flexibility to manage peaks of pressure and excellent attention to detail
• Deliver and sustain high levels of customer service in a pressurised environment
• Experience of a demanding and complex administration
• Experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems to collect and analyse data and run reports
• Experience of providing high quality customer care and successfully dealing with a wide range of people

The Customer Services and Administration team is a dedicated and specialist team who provide all supporters, volunteers, groups, members of the public and internal customers a high level of customer service and support when contacting the charity. Your new role

The Role:
As the Group Secretary, you will provide administrative support and assistance to senior clergy members. This role involves managing administrative tasks, including diary management, correspondence handling, event coordination, and more.
Main responsibilities:
*Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior clergy, including managing emails, diary coordination, agenda preparation, and travel arrangements.
*Coordinate significant events such as Episcopal Visitations, Inductions, and Sacraments.
*Maintain accurate records and manage financial transactions using internal systems.
*Oversee social media and website updates, ensuring timely and relevant content.
*Conduct research, compile reports, and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Essential requirements:
*Solid administrative support experience at senior level.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Understanding of Church teachings and liturgical practices.
*IT proficiency including databases, social media platforms, and video conferencing software.
*Flexibility, open-mindedness, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
*Strong time management and organisational skills.

Your new role
You will be responsible providing the utmost support to the Head of Finance and the wider Senior Leadership Team with diary management, minute-taking, board and council meetings, travel logistics and complex inbox management.
You will also be the point of contact for various teams like the facilities team, HR team, finance team and general building management to ensure everything runs smoothly within the office.
As the Executive Assistant and Office Manager, your duty is to support multiple individuals with a main focus on the Head of Finance.
Main scope of the role
- Administrative support to the Executive Directors
- Office Support and Management
- Council and Meetings Support.
- Ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Act as facilities manager for the office dealing with items such as telephone system, copier franking machine, furniture etc.
- Manage office cover and handling of inbound telephone calls.
- Manage incoming post - involves reading and acting on all incoming post. Once done go through and action with Executives.
- Manage any office moves.
- Maintenance of diaries - self-explanatory but often complex because of number of officers and entities.
- Arranging travel & itineraries - trips around the UK for Executive Directors.
- Confidential work for the Executive Directors.
- Assist in compiling agendas and reports for all Council meetings.
- Organise Council and other Committee meetings and meetings with Government bodies and other ad-hoc meetings.
- Taking minutes for Council meetings.
- Support the election administration - involves ensuring those voting are allowed to vote and those retiring by rotation have the opportunity to stand again, collation of attendance records and other administrative matters.

I am excited to be working with a fantastic conservation charity in search of a Finance Assistant for around two months. This is a part-time (2 days a week), London based role for two months. As Finance Assistant your role will be to assist the team with processing grants payments, invoicing and reconciliations.
Main duties:
• Processing grant payments via online banking in line with authorisation limits.
• Inputting and updating all incoming and outgoing transactions on QuickBooks.
• Saving payment confirmations on the server and on Quickbooks.
• Electronic filing of accounts and finance invoices, receipts, credits.
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Administrative support for audit.
• Administration of company credit cards.
• Ad hoc administration duties to support charity and CEO.
Experience Required
• MS Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks.
