Experience of using mental health services will be an advantage. About the role
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll support and work collaboratively with the CEO and Directorate team to shape the development, delivery and success of the Hospice’s strategy and operational plans.
You’ll lead the Hospice’s non-statutory income generation (IG), providing strategic leadership and high-level operational oversight that enables the Hospice to deliver against its strategic and operational plans.
With ownership of the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies, you’ll increase engagement with key target audiences, build and lead a high-performing team of staff and oversee substantial income growth.

To provide appropriate emotional and practical support to women in the sex industry and/or those who are being sexually exploited with a specific focus on those who are homeless. We are working in partnership with Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Corporate Fundraiser. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.
The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

The Trust has achieved a great deal over the last 5 years, securing funding from public sources, trusts, and foundations. This newly created role will build on this success and attract substantial support from individuals and corporate sources. It involves working with internal and external stakeholders to raise funds for core funding, projects, and capital campaigns. About the Role
As CEO, you will work closely with the Board of trustees and management team to develop and implement the organisations strategy, business plan and project plans and ensure clients benefit from sustainable, inclusive, high quality domestic abuse support and other services.
Your leadership and management will inspire and support staff to deliver client-led quality services, including the effective recruitment, retention and development of staff. About The Role
We are looking for a strategic and proactive Project Manager to lead our UK Free Farrowing project within our Food Business team. This pivotal role will help drive the transition from farrowing crates to free-farrowing systems for sows across the UK, working collaboratively with key stakeholders in the food industry, including retailers, producers, manufacturers, and assurance schemes.
As part of this vital role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive project strategy, establishing and managing a multi-stakeholder group, and producing practical guidance to support the adoption of free farrowing systems for sows.
The free farrowing project manager will also act as a pig expert within the UK food business team, providing technical support to the UK and wider food business team on pig welfare, and on other species as needed.
About You
This role requires a confident communicator and skilled project manager with good knowledge of pig welfare and/or of the pig sector, able to influence, coordinate, and inspire change across diverse audiences.
You’ll have experience leading multi-stakeholder projects from strategy to delivery, with excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills. Your background may be in the food industry, animal welfare, sustainability, or a related field, and you’ll be confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including producers, retailers, manufacturers, and government bodies.
You’ll be skilled at managing external relationships and facilitating collaboration, with a proven ability to build consensus and drive change. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to translate technical information into clear, practical guidance. You’ll also be comfortable representing Compassion in external settings and speaking with authority. You’ll need to be highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work both independently and as part of a team, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
