As Philanthropy Officer, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, cultivating long-term relationships and securing 5-figure donations to support Macmillan’s vital work. What You’ll Be Doing

• Cultivating and stewarding relationships with high-net-worth individuals to secure and grow 5-figure gifts.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in Dot Dot Dot’s impact in London and beyond. Your primary responsibility will be to create the materials that help us win new contracts and partnerships. You’ll analyse the business and social value of each project, turning insights into persuasive cases for action. From there, you’ll craft compelling pitches and proposals, working closely with our senior leadership team to deliver them directly to clients and partners.

This is a collaborative, cross-cutting role at the heart of our business development work. About the role: You will hold a caseload of clients, providing advice to migrant survivors of domestic abuse and to EEA nationals in the community.  You will carry out risk assessments, support planning and engage with clients in order to deliver positive outcomes. You will assist clients in their journey to regularise their immigration status, helping them to  establish their independence. In some cases this will involve assisting them in accessing public funds and safe accommodation. Do you want to work with multiple-award winning charity, FoodCycle? Our vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community – including our school communities!​

We’ve partnered with 4 schools across London to bring our free community meal to their families after school hours, with the additional goal of helping connect families with each other and the school and introducing kids to new healthy food.​

We’re looking for some additional help over the next 6 months to support the volunteer teams on site and make these meals happen. You’ll need to have an interest and experience in working with kids and families!​

By joining us you’ll gain an understanding of different aspects of local project delivery for a national charity. You’ll be hands-on and have an immediate impact each day, leading small teams of volunteers who cook in the kitchen and host our guests to create a positive and welcoming environment and a nutritious vegetarian meal.​

Our school meals happen on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and we would ideally like you to work your hours across these three afternoons/evenings. You’ll be supporting 2 meals per week on average, with around 5 hours required per meal. That leaves 5 additional hours to join team meetings and complete other duties.​

You’ll be supported by our experienced operational team, and we will equip you with a package of training and shadowing, including specific training around food safety, safeguarding and working within the lively environment of schools!​

It's an exciting time to join the fundraising team at Prostate Cancer UK as we deliver on a new strategy. We've seen an upward trend in our fundraising income over the last decade and we're anticipating further growth in the next five years. We're introducing new roles to transform how we work and intentionally integrate our individual giving with our work across fundraising, brand and health awareness. You'll play a vital role within our successful mass fundraising function, helping us strengthen our propositions to acquire new supporters and secure long-term support.

In this key role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering our individual giving strategy. You'll lead on the acquisition of new supporters and work to diversify our channels based on supporter insights. South East London Mind’s IPS Employment Service helps people with mental health needs back into work. We aim to increase the number of people moving into paid employment from Community Mental Health Teams.

We are currently seeking two permanent IPS Employment Specialists to work as part of the Community Mental Health Teams. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (for which training will be given), working in line with the 25-points fidelity scale.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the HR subject matter expert, you will lead the transition of HR and Culture at DENS. You will develop a People and Culture Strategy that supports organisational aims, responds to increasing HR demands and ensures that DENS is able to attract and retain a diverse workforce of talented staff and volunteers. You will proactively plan for, comply with and respond to the evolving expectations of external stakeholders, including future employees, funders and commissioners, and changes to employment law.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and embed a People and Culture Strategy in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board.

• Be the trusted expert HR Advisor to Senior Leaders, the lead on all formal Employee Relations (ER) related cases, and coach the HR & Culture Officer to support managers on informal cases.

• Keep abreast of employment law, case law and trends, sharing these with key stakeholders to ensure policy and practices are not only compliant but innovative, and supporting the assessment and mitigation of people related risks

. • Gain an understanding and support leaders to innovatively respond to the recruitment challenges faced by low unemployment rates in the local area.

• Lead a proactive, data informed resource/workforce planning approach, based upon internal needs and external insight and trends (including recruitment needs, skills development, employment law changes).

• Develop a HR infrastructure and systems to support DENS’ service development. With the support of the HR and Culture Officer, review, develop and implement standardised processes and frameworks and supporting documents

. • Lead, motivate and develop your team, encouraging a collaborative climate.

• Review and implement staff development initiatives, including a structured training plan, quality assurance of one-to-one meetings and annual performance reviews.

• Oversee employee relations and improved HR systems, ensuring compliance with best employment practices and risk management

. • Promote a healthy workplace culture and employee and volunteer proposition through contemporary HR practices such as wellbeing, recognition.

• Lead the implementation of the EDI policy, ensuring an inclusive and equitable workplace

. • Role model a culture that supports autonomy and responsibility by coaching managers on the use of tools and guidance to enable them to effectively and confidently manage employee related issues

. • Ensure payroll accuracy monthly and ensure post payroll checks have been completed

. • Responsible for managing the HR & Culture budget.

About the role:

The Deputy Director leads the strategic development and transformation of Family Action services across the Central region, and implements the organisation’s strategic plan and its 5 key objectives. The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, partnership, service development, and system leadership across sectors. The role has responsibility for service delivery, risk management, performance, quality and practice, safeguarding, income generation and budgets across the region. The post holder drives accountable leadership, innovation, co-creation, and continuous improvement across all the Central region. The Deputy Director will be an excellent communicator, highly resilient, and a decision maker, while always championing Family Action’s values in delivering inclusive, outcome-focused support for children, families, young people and adults.

Main Responsibilities:

· Be accountable for service delivery across the region, contractual performance, safeguarding, quality assurance, risk management, ensuring services meet regulatory standards, delivering positive outcomes and embedding equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we do.

· Lead senior stakeholder engagement and foster strong cross-sector partnerships across the geographic area.

· Line manage Operational Managers, and an Assistant Director, oversee budgets to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery. Champion the sharing of learning, development of staff and volunteers and best practice across services to support continuous improvement and innovation.

· Strategic and accountable leadership, leading the region by motivating and galvanizing the team to achieve innovation, growth and quality services maximising outcomes for the people we support

· Working alongside the Business Development & Corporate and Marketing team, drive the region’s income generation through generating and responding to new opportunities, and by leading innovative service design and modelling.

· Be part of a dynamic and supportive team of other regional and national Deputy Directors, sharing and influencing cross-organisational decision making, resource allocation, strategy and organizational development and leadership.

We are looking for an Adult Carer Wellbeing Navigator, employed by Sutton Carers Centre and based within the Wellbeing Team at Sutton Talking Therapies as well as our Centre. In this role, you will provide both practical and emotional support to Carers - helping them to set goals, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen their confidence by accessing appropriate therapeutic interventions. 

You will bring experience of working with people facing difficulties around their mental health, offering person-centred support designed to improve their overall health and wellbeing. You also will have knowledge of the wider issues that may affect mental health, including the particular challenges and rewards of caring for others.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-partner environment are essential. Flexibility is also key - you’ll need to respond to the varying needs of Carers and the organisation, including occasional work outside standard office hours.
