Our Schools Support Team supports school improvement, safeguarding, finance, HR, estates, IT, and compliance functions. Our School Standards Boards (local governing bodies) provide community-level oversight and engagement. This balance allows us to maintain high standards across the Trust while preserving the unique identity of each school.
We educate more than 19,000 children and employ approximately 2,500 staff. We have an annual income of c.£130million and are focused on ensuring every pound is spent in the best interests of pupils.
About the role
Trustees at GLF Schools are non-executive directors of the Trust and charity trustees under charity law. As a Trustee, you will share responsibility for ensuring we deliver on our mission and meet our legal and financial obligations.
The core responsibilities of the Board are to:
- Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
- Hold executive leaders to account for the educational and operational performance of the Trust.
- Oversee financial performance, compliance and risk.

About the role
As a Regional Fundraising Volunteer, you will support Rethink Mental Illness in generating income, raising awareness, and building community engagement through local fundraising initiatives. Remuneration

Time commitment
