Sounds great, what will I be doing?
Conduct monthly consultations with residents to gather feedback and plan diverse, rotating menus that ensure balanced nutrition and reflect individual dietary needs and preferences. Oversee meal preparation and service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, adapting meals for specific requirements such as soft diets, diabetic-friendly, or allergen-free options. Manage kitchen stock, place food supply orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries while minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations, including regular equipment checks and adherence to COSHH and HACCP guidelines. Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections, coordinate meal times with care staff, support kitchen assistants when needed, and report any operational or dietary concerns to the Home Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience cooking for large groups, preferably in a care home, school, or healthcare setting, with a solid understanding of the nutritional needs of elderly or vulnerable individuals. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations is essential, along with a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or 3). A catering qualification, such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery, is desirable. Experience in menu planning and stock ordering is required. The role requires flexibility, including availability for weekend shifts on a rotational basis, and may require an enhanced DBS check.

About the role
The Director of Finance will lead the finance team to ensure the effective support for SFCT’s complex requirements across all aspects of finance, investment management, governance, compliance and risk.

Who we are looking for
This role is a fully functional finance role with multiple entities that require support. You will be an experienced Finance Director (and/or perhaps a CFO of an endowment-funded foundation) with the people skills to lead and develop a large finance team, as well as the skills to manage a complex mix of stakeholders.
As a qualified accountant, you will be someone with knowledge and experience in charity finance, who also has a commercial focus and likely has had a stint in industry. Experience in managing a complex finance function and being proactive when it comes to change is essential, as well as the ability to inspire and develop a team to deliver high performance and continuous improvement.

Your contribution to the team
You will support all financial aspects of budgeting, reporting, compliance and financial management of grants managed by ARTICLE 19, including all finance-related work with grant-receiving partners. The role is a key part of improving our programme delivery by supporting grant budget holders.
What you can expect in a typical day
• To support production of financial reports in compliance with donor and internal ARTICLE 19 requirements for a portfolio of projects managed by ARTICLE 19.
• To generate and review transactional reports and follow through as necessary with corrections and adjustments.
• To receive, process and account for expenditure by grant partners, including reviewing supporting documentation.
• To produce reforecasts where required by the donor, with input from grant budget holders.
• To work in conjunction with the fundraising and relevant project team during proposal development. Provide support on budgeting, ensuring budget is in alignment with the proposal, is realistic and provides ARTICLE 19 with favourable terms. Provide guidance on finance donor compliance that will inform the proposal and budget development.
• Ensure that proposals comply with ARTICLE 19’s internal policies, in particular full cost recovery principles and policies.
• To support compliance of grants with ARTICLE 19 financial policies where appropriate, e.g. anti-bribery and corruption, both internally and compliance by our partners, raising any concerns with the Grant Finance Manager.
• To monitor grant cash flow and ensure payment requests are made and processed in the finance system in timely manner to the donor.
• To review grant cash requests from Regional Offices.
• To business partner International Office teams who are majority grant funded. This includes producing monthly management accounts; supporting budget holders to prepare annual budget and coordinate responses to the budget holder.
• To consider how improvements can be made to procedures for processing transactions, reporting and any other issues which would contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of ARTICLE 19’s finance function.
• Support the finance team in any audit process, including internal, statutory and donor audits.
What you will bring to the role
Knowledge and Skills
• Qualified accountant with a CCAB recognised qualification (if UK based), or HBO or HBO + work and thinking level with a degree in Accounting (Registered Accountant, RA (Financial), Management, Business Administration, Controlling (if based in The Netherlands) or working towards qualification, or qualified through relevant work experience.
• Understanding of accounting for restricted income and expenditure in line with international nonprofit financial reporting standards and donor requirements.
• Understanding of double entry and how to make corrections and adjustments in accounting systems.
• Excellent Excel skills, including vlookups, sumifs and ability to self-learn in this area.
• Ability to work quickly, methodically with close attention to detail.
• Experience in partner due diligence and partner finance management, including reviewing financial capacity, assessing financial risk, and supporting partners to strengthen financial systems and compliance.
• Good inter-personal skills including experience of working cross-culturally, across different time zones and with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and in high pressure situations whilst maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
• Ability to negotiate but understanding where the ‘red lines’ are and to gain compliance with them through dialogue.
• Awareness of digital security issues and ability to communicate through secure means of communications.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, and Dutch (if based in The Netherlands).

The Job
This is a senior interim leadership role within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function. As Deputy Head of FP&A (Finance Business Partnering), you will:

About you
The candidate should possess a strong technical background with extensive hands-on experience in managing and supporting Office 365 environments. They should be proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Office 365 applications, including Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, Teams and the use of an IT Ticketing System. About the role

We are seeking a Senior MASH IDVA to co-locate in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub.
This exciting role will provide advice and support to other professionals. A key part of this role involves contributing to the local Intimate Partner Violence Panel and Daily Safeguarding Meeting processes, representing survivors at these meetings and action planning alongside other agencies to improve survivor safety. Whilst working with other agencies, the Senior MASH IDVA will strive to keep survivor’s safety at the centre of all coordinated responses. The Senior MASH IDVA is a lead around engaging the Service users of alleged perpetrators of abuse on programmes, and line managing the Early Help team.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.
About You
We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending VAWG and safeguarding. You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of demonstrable experience of working with victims of domestic and/or sexual violence in a multi-agency setting and a working knowledge of the criminal and civil justice systems.
The candidate will have essential experience of attending multi-agency risk-focused meetings such as MARAC, IPV or MAPPA.
Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, demonstrable substantial experience in providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG. A relevant qualification in VAWG or significant experience is essential.

Our recovery group work offers practical support and psychoeducation to support clients in their recovery journey from abuse and violence. This role will also involve providing group prevention support to LGBT young people focusing on identity, community and healthy relationships. These groups will be co facilitated and be run both online and in-person.
In this role, you will complete assessments for clients referred into group work and offer a space to clients to discuss their options for support.
