As a Community Fundraiser you will:

• Promote the charity’s pastoral and spiritual work within local communities.
• Develop strong relationships with parishes, schools, and diocesan networks to increase engagement with the charity’s mission.
• Inspire people to make donations and raise funds to support the charity projects, including the sale of charity items and organising fundraising events.
• Recruit and support volunteers, as well as manage fundraising groups and initiatives across the region.
• Manage relationships with high value and legacy donors, ensuring their continued support and engagement.

To be successful, you must have experience:

• Previous experience in community fundraising or a related field is beneficial.
• A strong network of contacts within the diocesan community, schools, or special interest groups is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, public speaking abilities, and strong organisational capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media are essential.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and take ownership of key projects, while also being a strong team player.

Salary: £30,000- £34,000 per annum

Parentsactive CIC is the parent/carer forum for Hammersmith and Fulham and works to empower parent/carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from birth through to adults.

We are delighted to be recruiting a Co-production Coordinator to work alongside our parents and carers of young disabled adults to ensure they have meaningful opportunities to inform and influence strategic and operational developments across Hammersmith and Fulham that will lead to a better future for them and their young person.

The Co-production Coordinator will support the coordination of a range of activities designed to increase coproduction across the borough’s health, education and social care systems.

The successful candidate will be passionate about coproduction and ensuring the voice of people with lived experience is heard. They will have strong skills in working collaboratively with a wide range of people including families, statutory and third sector partners. The person will be a good listener, compassionate and understanding of the issues related to supporting a disabled adult to live their best life and have the confidence to challenge when necessary.

Home based – Remote

GamCare is looking for dedicated Night Shift Helpline Advisers to provide essential support to those affected by gambling-related harm.

GamCare offers helpline support through multiple channels, including our Freephone Helpline, Live Chat, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms such as forums and chatrooms. The Helpline operates 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring support is always available.

As the first point of contact, you will offer help, advice, and emotional support to individuals struggling with their own or someone else’s gambling. You will work exclusively on night shifts as part of our award-winning Helpline team (Helpline of the Year), following a two-week rotating schedule with shifts running from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

The working hours are 28 hours per week (average). Hours are between 10.30pm and 7.30am.

In return, we will provide you with comprehensive training, regular supervision, and a full CPD programme to support your development.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will hold a professional qualification in Health, Social Care, Psychology, Youth or Community Care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above, or a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies, Advice, and Guidance. Alternatively, you will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable individuals affected by addiction harm and/or complex needs.

We also welcome applications from those with lived experience of gambling-related harm, provided they have professional experience in a supportive environment and a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation.

You will be able to engage effectively, sensitively, and with empathy when supporting callers reaching out to GamCare. The ability to deliver non-judgemental, confidential support is essential to this role.

Additionally, you will be committed to maintaining a strong understanding of problem gambling and will have a genuine interest in the areas of gambling addiction, treatment, early intervention, and prevention.

React is a small, well regarded, charity that was established in 1989.  It provides Rapid Effective Assistance to Children with Potentially Terminal illness.

React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, creative and innovative fundraising professional with a history of successful income generation and fundraising development.

Established in 1996, Dialogue School Counselling is a BACP accredited school counselling service covering Sussex and Surrey.

We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified School Counsellor on a permanent basis at our well-established Dialogue School Counselling service at Felpham Community College in Felpham, Bognor Regis. You will be working with a range of clients within the Dialogue Thresholds and working to a 6-8 session model. You will be working alongside another experienced Dialogue School Counsellor and working closely with the Student Services Pastoral team at the college.

Key responsibilities

• Run a suitable appointment system flexible to the needs of the school, offering students appropriate assessments and counselling appointments
• Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload
• Liaise with school staff over referrals, waiting lists and appointments
• Carry out initial clinical and risk assessments and establish appropriate referral pathways with other services where appropriate. Continually assess risk throughout each student’s counselling.
• Follow YMCA Dialogue safeguarding procedures; to know who the School’s Designated Safeguarding Officer/s is and how to contact them when a safeguarding concern arises
• Work at all times within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions
•  Maintain individual membership of the BACP and to become a Registered Member (or other professional body such as HCPC)
• You will establish good professional working relationships with key school staff

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

• You will also have a sound understanding of child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding issues, policies, and procedures
• You will have proven experience in safeguarding children and young people, responding to, managing, and referring safeguarding issues
• You will have a BACP Membership; BACP Registered or Accredited. Or other professional body e.g. HCPC
• You will have a keen interest in working with children and will be familiar with using creative therapeutic approaches, along with experience of working in a school setting
