In your role as the Service Administrator, you will be working with a team of Community Keyworkers, who cover a range of designated North, East and West London boroughs. The Minerva service provides holistic one to one community support and advocacy services to women who are being supervised by the National Probation Service (NPS) and your role will be to ensure the smooth running of this essential service.

What you will bring:

The successful candidate will be a skilled administrator, who can work efficiently to tight deadlines and under pressure. They will have strong interpersonal communication skills, working with a team geographically spread across London and handling referrals from external stakeholders, allocating them accordingly.

As our Senior Finance Officer you will contribute to Career Ready’s finance and operations function by providing high quality financial support to the charity. Working as part of a small team of three, you will perform core finance tasks and will support the Head of Finance and Operations with budgeting, reporting and auditing activities.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities

Bookkeeping and Accounting

• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into Xero Accounts

Essential skills and experience required

· Fully or part qualified – AAT, ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience

The Events Fundraising Lead plays a critical role within the fundraising team, combining strategic oversight with a hands-on commitment to delivery excellence. Work environment

Working in partnership with leaders and teams across the Institute, the role will lead a team of dedicated Human Resources and Organisational Development professionals supporting the organisation to make progress against our ambitious strategy - Manifesto for a Thriving World.

This senior leadership position combines strategic vision with HR operational excellence. You will lead the development of people-centred strategies, workforce planning and change management initiatives that drive organisational performance and promote inclusion and wellbeing.

Other responsibilities include

-Providing strategic leadership across all areas of people and culture, aligned with IIED’s values and Manifesto
-Being a trusted advisor on all people matters
-Delivering KPIs related to people, culture, equity and wellbeing using evidence and analytics to drive continuous improvement

About You

To be considered as our Director of People, you will need:

-Demonstrable senior level HR leadership experience with outstanding leadership, coaching and relationship building capabilities
-A strong track record of delivering inclusive and values-led HR practices
-Proven experience leading and embedding wellbeing and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
-Experience supporting and embedding cultural and behavioural change within complex, ideally international, organisations
-In depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices, ideally combined with knowledge of international legislative frameworks
-Successful experience of translating strategy into practice, led by people-centred design and grounded in the experience of diverse stakeholders
-A sound understanding of HR Information Systems and the use of people data/analytics

UK Reads is seeking dynamic, passionate, and engaging Literacy Workshop Facilitators to join our team. As a Literacy Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering inspiring and interactive literacy workshops to children and young people in schools and community settings across London, with a particular focus on East London.

Our workshops are designed to support key literacy skills including reading comprehension, vocabulary building, performance, creative thinking, imagination, communication, and - above all -the joy of reading. Sessions are child-centred, adaptable, and responsive to the needs of different schools and learners. Activities include interactive storytelling, games, drama-based literacy, and imaginative writing tasks that spark curiosity and build confidence.

Facilitators will also help deliver our whole-class or group Pen Pal Project—a volunteer-driven initiative that engages pupils in the power of letter writing. This project amplifies young voices, nurtures connection through communication, and encourages writing for authentic purposes. It is designed to help children fall in love with writing while developing empathy and self-expression and connecting them to peers in other countries.

This is a flexible freelance position with workshop opportunities varying monthly. Facilitators must reside in London and be available to travel across the city. A willingness to travel outside of London for special sessions or events is an advantage.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, energetic, confident, and able to independently lead engaging, creative, and inclusive sessions. The successful candidate will bring a strong literacy background, a passion for working with children, and the ability to adapt in diverse and dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver literacy workshops and writing sessions independently or as part of a small team to children and young people in schools, fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive learning environment.
• Utilise your expertise to lead workshops, ensuring that participants get the most out of the experience and actively engage in literacy activities.
• Support in the creation of student-centred workshops that cater to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the community.
• Offer encouragement and motivation to participants to enhance their literacy skills and confidence.
• Support the Delivery Lead to ensure the smooth running of workshop days, including setting up activities and managing logistics.
• Ensure that workshop activities are safely and effectively implemented in an organised and professional manner.
• Participate in the evaluation of workshop and sessions delivery, gathering feedback from schools and students, and providing input for ongoing development and improvement.
• Attend virtual check-ins and trainings with the Delivery Lead or Programme Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support the Delivery Lead in developing and delivering targeted literacy workshops tailored to students' reading levels, interests, and compensation needs.
• Co-deliver Pen Pal Project writing workshops, engaging whole classes and supporting volunteers in the delivery of inclusive, creative writing sessions for children aged 5–16. Encourage writing enjoyment, fluency, and confidence in every session.
• Adapt workshop content to suit varying literacy levels and ensure accessibility and engagement for all participants.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience delivering educational or creative workshops to children and young people - particularly those focused on literacy, storytelling, drama, or performance.
• Strong literacy background and fluent command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SENDs).
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.

The Role

This is a home-based role with some travel for face-to-face sessions. This position is home-based, with some nationwide travel to deliver training sessions and attendance at two development days per year (location within the UK).

Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a key member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.

An exciting opportunity has risen for a versatile and driven Head of Fundraising. The postholder will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy, implementing the fundraising plan, overseeing the fundraising budget, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations. This role has strategic accountability for fundraising, but will be hands on, involving operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable income sources for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven fundraising experience and a sound working knowledge of the main fundraising methods and streams.
• Track record of delivery at operational business level, with the ability to impact at strategic level, including translating strategic vision into clear direction for the organisation and line reports.
• Experience of maximising fundraising effectiveness and efficiency by using and developing a CRM.
• Exposure to management of salaried staff and/or volunteers, delivering fundraising targets, and with a proven ability to recruit, train and monitor performance.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade. An innovative, and proactive leadership style, with the ability to inspire others to maximise their potential, will be essential.
