For a charity in central London, we're recruiting an interim Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance business partnering team. This role will manage the delivery of robust financial information to stakeholders. The Finance Business Partner will add value to the financial information provided by budget holders via technical analysis and data visualisation. This role will build excellent relationships with various teams within the charity to help them adhere to financial policies and build financial literacy capacity. Main Duties:
- Partner with senior budget holders to enable planning and budget decisions, and produce robust financial reports to inform decision-making

Purpose of post

- Proven experience in a diverse administrative role, ideally within a charity or small office environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong administration skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Demonstrable experience as a secretary for a board or committee, including minute-taking.

Location: Remote/Hybrid with occasional travel to events/meetings around the UK and to the Sleaford, Lincs office as required.

We have an exciting opportunity to join MASH’s staff team. We are looking for a Homeless Outreach Worker to join the team at MASH and provide support to women in Manchester. This role is part time at 21 hours per week and will include two night-time outreach shifts per week driving the MASH van.

Purpose of the role
To work with other members of the MASH team to achieve the following outcomes for women who sex work:

- To influence policy and practice changes in other agencies working with our client group
Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Homeless Outreach Worker will deliver two sessions of street outreach each week. This will involve driving and taking the MASH mobile vehicle into areas of Manchester where women are engaged in sex work on the street. The role involves delivering a harm reduction approach to offer a quality service to women to improve health, housing and safety outcomes. This will be delivered with a respectful and non-judgemental approach assisting women to reduce harmful behaviours and improving access to a range of services to improve their outcomes.
We are looking for a suitably qualified person to join our team as HR Officer to promote good HR practice throughout the District and its constituent churches and Circuits. The HR Officer will provide expert advice for line managers and provide support for all HR matters, enabling all lay staff to flourish in their roles in addition to meeting statutory and Methodist requirements. We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused administrator to lead on the administration of the CLPE Learning Programme, which includes courses that take place both in person at the Centre and online as well as INSET training and consultancy delivered at other locations around the country. You will also be part of the Centre’s administration team to support the day-to-day running of the Centre and help us ensure that everyone who works in and visits our Centre is well looked after and has a fantastic experience. This will include providing reception cover, greeting visitors, answering phones, supporting tenants and event bookings, and providing general admin support to the team based at the Centre.
You will be based at our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. Your usual working hours will be 2pm to 6pm to provide Centre admin cover during this time, but this role will also require occasional evening or weekend working to fulfil event commitments, and flexibility to provide cover for staff leave. Due to the nature of your duties, and fixed hours, this role is not suitable for flexible or home working.
Our Centre houses an amazing collection of 25,000 children’s books as well as being a training and event centre for teachers, publishers and everyone else who works with children’s literature and cares about children’s literacy.
This is an extremely interesting and varied job. As well as working closely with our teaching team, responding to enquiries and bookings, and arranging logistics for courses and events taking place at the Centre, you might also be supporting our librarian with a book launch, welcoming our trustees to a meeting, or looking after a famous children’s author.
Your duties will include:

Providing the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to courses, webinars, CPD or other events, by email and phone, as well as responding to general enquiries

Coordinating all booking information for courses, INSET training and consultancy

Carrying out data reconciliation and reporting using systems such as Zoom and Xero

Updating webpages for courses and events

Managing all event logistics, including joining details, invoicing, gathering feedback and on-the-day support / room set-up / catering

Arranging travel and accommodation when necessary

Working with the Centre Manager/s to ensure the smooth running of the building for visitors, staff and tenants

Managing room bookings, including responding to enquiries, confirming and recording bookings and sending invoices

Managing the Centre signing in system for guests

Ordering supplies and supporting the wider CLPE team with ad hoc administrative tasks
You will need good administration and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure, as well as excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. You should also have experience of working in a customer-facing role and / or supporting schools and other education settings. An understanding of financial sales processes, including online booking processes, and competence with Microsoft Office, Teams and Zoom will be essential.
You should also be confident that you are able to manage physical aspects of the role, including setting up event rooms and moving furniture when necessary
