As Senior Fundraiser, you will develop and implement the fundraising strategy to maximise trust and grant giving income and create a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio, with funding streams including major donors, trusts, foundations and other grant making bodies. You will maintain and develop existing relationships, whilst proactively identifying and approaching new funding partners in the UK, US and internationally. In addition, you will prepare well-written structured persuasive cases for support and targeted funding applications. You will also ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity's goals and ensure professional presentation of the charity to all funding sources.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience and successful track record of securing income from trusts, foundations and/or major donors.
- Experience of developing a fundraising strategy and income targets.
- Excellent writing skills with attention to detail and experience in preparing structured, engaging and successful grant applications.
- Financially literate with experience of navigating budgets specifically relating to projects.

About the role
As a member of our helpline team, you will provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals in need, responding to calls, emails, and web chats. Your role will involve offering a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic ear to those reaching out for help, while carefully assessing each situation to determine the appropriate level of support. We are seeking a candidate with experience in providing trauma-informed support to victims and survivors. The role
This is a great time to join GamCare as we are growing the reach of our services. We are looking for Gambling Support Practitioners with qualifications or experience in health or social care, and an empathic style to enable people to change their behaviour through skilled intervention.
Crucially, you will ensure that psychosocial and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan while working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
There will be lots of opportunities to participate in service promotion, networking activities and events to support the visibility of the service, as well as developing relationships with local services and communities to strengthen pathways into the service.
We are looking for an individual to work full time, which will include 3 days working 9-5pm and 2 days 12-8pm per week (fixed), Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities
- Providing face to face and online advice, assessments, and brief and structured interventions to help clients achieve their recovery goals, using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural approaches
- Providing safe and effective support to individuals whilst managing safeguarding issues in line with safeguarding procedures and policies
- Maintaining collaborative working relationships with external agencies, professionals and groups to facilitate multi-agency approaches and holistic support
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local services and communities to support the identification of gambling harms and pathways into the service
- Participating in service promotion, networking activities and events to support visibility and ongoing development of the service, proactively responding to the needs identified within the region
About you
You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including cognitive behavioural tools.
You will need to live at a reasonable distance from GamCare London office due to expectations of working from the office when required, as well as being able to travel to other locations across Greater London to deliver services or attend community events.

To provide engineering and technical support in the delivery of enterprise-wide IT Modern Workplace services to the Museum's circa 1,000 staff, for partners and guests who use the Museum's services. The successful candidate will work as part of the third line team of engineers responsible for the Museum's Modern Workplace across visitor services, operational and curatorial departments.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Microsoft 365 Services (operational support)
- Custom applications (server and client)
- Device configuration and management
- Documentation (technical and process)
- Maintain technology roadmaps and evaluate and test new modern workplace solutions
- Provide operational support including supporting the Museum to understand how core productivity solutions are consumed and make recommendations on how best to improve the end user experience, with particular emphasis on the use of Microsoft 365 Services
- Preventative maintenance ensuring systems are well maintained, documented, monitored and alerts are responded to appropriately
- Utilise ITIL frameworks to deliver services and change control

About the role:
This role is based in London with Hybrid working.
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.
- Have a strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.
