We are looking for a community fundraiser to join Scope at an exciting time.

You will be an important part of a new team, helping to run all areas of community fundraising. You will also work on exciting new projects including “do it yourself” (DIY) fundraising ideas and making sure our supporters and volunteers have a great experience.

The role

As a Community Fundraiser, you will play a vital role in Scope's Community Fundraising team, helping to deliver our strategy and grow our impact. You will support a wide range of fundraising activities, from DIY initiatives to community events, ensuring every supporter feels welcomed, valued and empowered to make a difference.

You will:

· Support the delivery of Scope's Community Fundraising programme, helping to maximise income and future growth

· Assist in developing and delivering inclusive and accessible fundraising activities and products

· Provide thoughtful and responsive stewardship to fundraisers and volunteers, encouraging long term relationships and repeat support

· Monitor trends across the sector and contribute to innovation and product development

· Ensure all fundraising activity is inclusive and compliant with relevant regulations and Scope's internal policies

· Collaborate with colleagues across departments, including Brand and Marketing, Retail and Services, to ensure a joined up and inclusive supporter experience

About you

We are looking for someone who:

· Has experience in community fundraising or a similar role

· Is passionate about creating inclusive experiences and engaging with a diverse range of supporters

· Communicates clearly and respectfully, with the ability to inspire and build relationships

· Is organised, with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage projects to meet deadlines

· Understands the importance of fundraising compliance, accessibility and data protection

· Enjoys working collaboratively and values different perspectives and lived experiences

It would be great if you also have:

· An understanding of the social model of disability and the barriers disabled people face

· Experience working with external agencies or managing inclusive fundraising campaigns

· Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising software

· An interest in inclusive event management and supporter stewardship

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable weather and climate scientist to join us at The Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS) as the Science Engagement Officer.

This is an exciting career opportunity for an individual who is keen to use their skills and knowledge to make a positive impact and advance the understanding of weather and climate in society through informal education. In this role, you will provide scientific support across science engagement project development, delivery and wider RMetS team operations. Reporting to the Head of Publishing and Scientific Engagement, you will have responsibility for developing training materials and co-delivering sessions for our climate change communication training, and you will deliver RMetS early career initiatives such as our career events. You will also create engaging content for various RMetS activities and stakeholders, and work with the media to enhance public awareness of weather and climate.

What you will do in the role:

• Develop training materials and co-deliver sessions for our RMetS training programme, including climate change communication training.

Essential criteria you will need to demonstrate:

• A background in weather and climate, either through: a degree in a scientific field relevant to weather and climate; OR a Master’s degree within a scientific field relevant to weather and climate, with a minimum of three subsequent years working in industry.
• Extensive knowledge across weather and climate, and evidence of involvement in activities to ensure ongoing current knowledge across diverse areas.
• Experience in communicating scientific concepts and information to a different range of stakeholders (for example policy makers, the wider scientific and social science community, or the general public).
• A friendly and open-minded approach, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a small team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to prepare documentation for outside stakeholders and willing to communicate with the media.
• A people person who has the confidence to proactively reach out to and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think creatively, be innovative and embrace new ideas and ways of working.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to join our service team at Luton. Based at our Wellbeing Centre in Dumfries Street we offer activities and groups throughout the day enabling service users to manage their mental health and move through their recovery journeys. In addition to facilitating a range of groups the role will involve assessing individual’s suitability for the service and signposting to local services and community support where necessary, as well as performing 1-1 meetings with clients periodically in order to assess and create action plans.

The role includes the opportunity to support events in the community to raise awareness of our services and build links with local organisations, as well as supporting volunteer and student placements.

Service Delivery

• Deliver a service and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in Luton, in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed recovery model as well as contract requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Carry out assessments on individuals’ suitability for Mind BLMK’s services in line with the Access to Service procedure and processes and the needs, priorities and support required by the individual.
• Facilitate onsite activity, drop-in and topic based group sessions. This may include planning of topics that support wellbeing, facilitating informal drop in and discussions, planning and organising activity based sessions including guest speakers and signposting and information sharing about other local services and resources.

About the Role

The Advice Supervisor will be a key member of our Community Advice team who supervises and contributes to the delivery of our core service. You will help ensure we provide a quality advice service to Camden residents across face-to-face, telephone, video channels and other digital developments and ensure the targets, outputs and outcomes of all the generalist advice contracts and/or grant agreements are met.

Ideally, you will already be an experienced Advice Supervisor. However, we will consider this role as a development opportunity if you are already a qualified Generalist Adviser wanting to progress your career. You will need to have at least two years post qualification experience in delivering high quality generalist advice and casework and be able to demonstrate the potential to support others with varying levels of experience to do the same.

About the Role

As Digital Product Developer, you will design compelling on-brand assets for our platforms, including visual, animated and written resources. You'll also support AI implementation, produce engaging content, and ensure our digital services are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain digital platforms and tools.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Conduct UX reviews to improve accessibility and effectiveness.
• Write and produce high-quality digital content, including copy and video.

You'll play a key role in making sure students are involved, informed and empowered through forums, elections and other democratic activities. You'll oversee our Ideas Platform and work closely with sabbatical officers and teams across UAL to keep these spaces student-led and relevant. You'll also be the operational lead for our student elections - from technical set-up to support candidates and making sure everything runs fairly and transparently. You'll help develop policies, run training sessions, promote democratic engagement, and be the go-to person for students with questions about how the SU represents students. It's a varied role that puts students at the hear of decision-making while making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
