Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation are essential, as is a good eye for detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines. We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in London.

• The London Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. We are looking for a passionate and strategic campaigner, change-maker or systems change practitioner to be our new Social Change Manager, leading our ambitious, cross-organisational Stigma Programme. This programme brings together multiple strands of work – from policy change and partnerships to narrative change and storytelling.

You will lead on engaging and mobilising private, public and third sector stakeholders to reduce stigma. With understanding of systems thinking and/or narrative change, the Social Manager will be able to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams while keeping a focus on long-term impact.

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month on a weekly basis.

The stigma associated with needing financial support and our social security system presents a major barrier to our organisational vision. Therefore, our new Stigma Programme brings together multiple strands of work – from policy change and partnerships to narrative change and storytelling – seeking to reduce internalised, societal and institutional stigma.

We are looking for a passionate and change-maker to be our new Social Change Manager, driving forward and coordinating this long-term and exciting programme. It will involve movement building and close collaboration with a range of external partners, including the many organisations in our sector who are trying to change the narrative around our social security system and our corporate partners such as Royal London.

We’re open-minded about your experience to date. Job Title: Donor Care Officer

Location: Hybrid working with 1 day in London officer per week, remote option considered for those outside of London

Contract: Temporary - 3 months, 28-35 hours per week, flexible

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing donor data within the ThankQ CRM system, reconciling income with the support of the finance and fundraising team, and providing exceptional supporter care through timely and personalised communications. They will work closely with colleagues across fundraising and finance, ensuring that supporters feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for donors, ensuring that all donations are processed promptly
• Be responsible for all donor entries and conduct donor research
• Support mid-level donors interested in increasing their engagement.

• Accurately input and maintain supporter records and donor opt-ins/opt-outs in the Thank Q CRM system.
• Generate reports and insights to support fundraising strategy and donor stewardship.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to enhance database procedures for data capture and income recording, enabling more effective donor stewardship and prospecting
• Conduct quarterly thank you letter audits to ensure consistency and quality in donor communications.

• Process and reconcile donations, including Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and online giving platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of online giving platform data.
• Support the finance team with coding and tracking income across different fundraising streams.
• Produce regular financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct monthly income reconciliation and batch approvals with finance team.
• Support the fundraising manager with quarterly Gift Aid claims by pulling the reports off Thank Q and calculating the claim and checking eligibility.

• Process ThankQ donations and send thank you letters.
• Reconcile income between ThankQ and the bank.

About You

This role requires a highly organised, competent and proactive individual with strong administrative skills, understanding of GDPR and maintain data integrity, familiarity with third party fundraising platforms such as Justgiving and Enthuse. Knowledge of automation would be an asset and experience of ThankQ CRM is essential to this role. A keen eye for detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with donors.

This is an exciting opportunity at a prominent assistance dog charity for a dog training instructor to develop their skills and take on new responsibilities within this rewarding field.
 
Position: Puppy Training Coordinator
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week).
Contract: Temporary Maternity Leave Cover (9 month minimum contract)
Location: Homebased in South Hampshire. This role covers a specified geographical location in the Southeast of England - South Hampshire (purple area on the map attached). There will be regular travel involved in this role to undertake visits, training sessions and to transport dogs and puppies, therefore it is essential that you have a driving licence and appropriate vehicle for work purposes or the ability to travel significant mileage in line with the requirements for the role. Direct Reports: Puppy Training Volunteers
 
You will be part of the ambitious puppy team, developing, coordinating, and supporting the puppy training programme. You will have the opportunity to work with and train volunteers in the appropriate care and training of Canine Partners’ puppies. You will work with puppies from eight-weeks to approximately 15-months old, ensuring they receive appropriate socialisation and training before entering our assistance dog training, giving them the foundations to learn how to be life-changing assistance dogs, bringing greater independence and quality of life to people with physical disabilities. A proactive approach is key to maintaining the welfare and behavioural standards for the puppies. All training at Canine Partners follows best practice, positive reinforcement methods and this role is an ambassador for this approach.
 
About you:

• Experience of working with puppies.
• Good working knowledge of best practice dog training and behaviour.
• Good practical dog handling and training skills.
• Effective interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
• Strong administration skills with accurate record keeping.
• Coaching/ Teaching skills.
• Computer literacy/ IT skills (MS Office – minimum requirement basic level)
• Full UK driving licence and use of appropriate vehicle for work purposes.
• Ideally, you may have experience of working with volunteers.

 
It may be advantageous, but not essential, for you to have a relevant Animal Behaviour and Training Council – Animal Training Instructor (ABTC-ATI) accreditation. Most importantly, you will be passionate about the transformative impact that our assistance dogs provide to our beneficiaries.
