At Youth Concern, we create safe spaces where 13–25-year-olds in Aylesbury Vale can feel safe, be real, and be themselves. Through our Drop-in Centre, counselling and homelessness prevention projects, we help young people overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

We’re an ambitious, supportive team, and we’re ready to grow our fundraising. With the recent introduction of our new CRM system, we’re looking for a Community Fundraising & Individual Giving Officer to help us expand our income and deepen relationships with our brilliant local supporters.

About the role
This new role will suit someone who’s proactive, creative, and passionate about connecting people to a cause that truly matters. You’ll manage a mix of community fundraising, individual giving, and supporter stewardship, helping to drive campaigns, build relationships, and make sure every supporter feels valued.

Roughly, your time will be split between:

• 30% supporter stewardship
• 30% events and community fundraising
• 40% multi-channel campaigns

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering key elements of our fundraising strategy across individual giving, community, and corporate income.
• Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors and local supporters.
• Managing our Beacon CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, GDPR compliance, and supporter segmentation.
• Planning and delivering engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
• Supporting events and community fundraising initiatives.
• Working with our CEO and Finance & Communications Manager to deliver inspiring communications and materials.

About you
You will quite likely be already working in fundraising or you might be ready to step up into a more varied and creative role. Either way, you’ll bring:

• Experience or understanding of individual giving, community, or corporate fundraising.
• Strong communication skills and a relationship-building mindset.
• Confidence using CRMs (ideally Beacon) and analysing donor data.

About the role

We are looking for two exceptional Heads of Philanthropy to join our team to significantly increase philanthropic income for faculty fundraising priorities across King’s College London.Within your application, please indicate which position you are applying to, or if you are happy to be considered for both positions.

One role will lead the Health, Science & Technology philanthropy team, and the other will lead the Arts & Social Sciences philanthropy team. Candidates will need to demonstrate curiosity and genuine interest in the academic areas that fall within the role, and work in partnership with King’s experts and other stakeholders to be successful.

King’s has an ambition to significantly scale philanthropic income for Faculties as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising and engagement campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029. There is currently at least one major gift fundraiser working in each Faculty. Working closely with the Associate Director, Faculty Philanthropy, the postholder will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the major gift fundraising function. They will be responsible for leading and nurturing a team of high value fundraisers to secure gifts at the £50k level and above.

We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of developing new, high value relationships, with experience of closing gifts at the six- and seven- figure level. They will need to demonstrate that they understand what is required to build and scale prospect portfolios. They should be intellectually curious and energised by the depth and breadth of King’s academic expertise, with particular interest and passion to work with senior university leaders and academics to secure funding for a range of priorities across either the Arts and Social Sciences, or Health, Science & Technology portfolio.

Working closely with the Associate Director, Faculty Philanthropy, the postholder will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the major gift fundraising function in advance of the launch of the university’s next public fundraising campaign. They will be responsible for leading and nurturing a team of high value fundraisers to secure gifts at the £50k level and above.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite  contract. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office, on King’s campuses or meeting donors externally. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

The Operations Manager is a senior leadership role with Home-Start Wandsworth, responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness of the organisation.  They will work closely with the Managing Director, and other members of the leadership team, to ensure the success and long term sustainability of the charity.

As Head of Research Funding, you’ll ensure our research investment delivers impact where it’s needed most. We’re looking for an Area Manager to lead our Community Fundraising team across the South of England (Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex & Kent)

As an Area Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving income growth, supporting your team, and ensuring fundraising activity delivers the best possible results.

In this home-based role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across fundraising, partnerships and volunteering to strengthen local engagement and ensure our supporters feel valued and connected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and support your regional Community Fundraising team, ensuring they perform at their best and feel supported throughout their careers.
• Set and manage income targets, monitor progress and report key performance indicators to the Community Management Team.
• Work with your team to deliver annual operational plans that grow income and increase supporter retention.
• Collaborate with other Area Managers and the Community Marketing Manager to maintain consistency in stewardship, compliance, and fundraising processes across all regions.
• Partner with colleagues in Philanthropy, Corporate, Trusts, and Legacy teams to maximise opportunities within your region.
• Ensure all fundraising activity adheres to legislation, best practice guidelines and internal policies.
• Work with internal teams to coordinate marketing, event logistics, and the development of new fundraising products.

About You:

• Proven experience in community fundraising and achieving ambitious income targets.
• A skilled people manager with experience in coaching, developing and motivating teams.
• Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Confident in managing budgets and using data to monitor performance and guide decisions.
• Experienced in leading projects and delivering results on time.
• Flexible and able to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Brighton and Hove Speak Out is an innovative advocacy charity. We support people with learning disabilities to have a voice and choice and control over their lives by providing a range of advocacy services and community projects.

About the role

We are seeking to recruit an advocate for adults and young people (17+) with learning disabilities, who will:

• Deliver 1-1 advocacy casework on a broad range of issues that enables people with learning disabilities to express their views and wishes, understand their rights and options, communicate with professionals and address issues they face.
• Coordinate Speak Out’s Drop-in advocacy service, providing time limited 1-1 advocacy within drop-in sessions.
• Develop peer advocacy at drop-in sessions.

About you

The successful candidate will need excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be able to manage a complex workload and work independently within a framework of supervision. Experience of advocacy or work with vulnerable clients is essential. Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and knowledge of learning disability services is an advantage. A full induction and training will be provided as well as ongoing peer mentoring and support. It would be desirable for the successful candidate to hold the national qualification in independent advocacy, however this can be undertaken once in post.
