Purpose of the Job
HFEH Mind is recruiting Trainee CYP-PT Therapy practitioners for the Autism Spectrum Condition & Learning Disabilities (ASC/LD) modality for the January 2026 intake at University College London. These posts are trainee roles in which postholders are employed by HFEH Mind and concurrently enrolled as students on the UCL/Anna Freud PG Diploma in CYP-PT: Therapy.
Trainees are employees of HFEH Mind, and will undertake workplace placement duties under supervision while completing the academic and practice requirements of the postgraduate diploma. The role combines practical, placement-based clinical work with academic study and requires the ability to balance these demands.
Course start date: 19th January 2026
Training Information
This full-time training will begin in January 2026 with around 2.5 days a week for academic work (teaching and personal study), and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients (children, young people, and carers) related to training assignments. Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.

Main Duties of the Job
Under supervision and with support, to develop knowledge and practice skills in the ASC/LD modality and to:
· Deliver evidence-based, outcome-focused low-intensity and structured interventions under clinical supervision to children and young people in educational and community settings as part of the MHST/CYP service.
· Support children and young people with ASC/LD and their families through adapted communication and intervention approaches appropriate to needs and developmental level.
· Work with education staff and families to support access to services, signpost to more specialist care where required, and collaborate in multi-agency planning.
· Undertake assessment and formulation under supervision and follow local referral and risk management protocols; raise safeguarding concerns promptly and in line with service procedures.
· Maintain accurate clinical, training and academic records in line with service and university requirements; collect and use outcome data to inform practice and reflective learning.
· Participate fully in the UCL PG Diploma academic programme (attendance, private study, assignments, practice-based assessments) and apply learning to placement work.
· Attend and engage in practice tutoring, clinical supervision and personal/professional development supervision; present case material as required by supervisory arrangements.
· Manage a caseload, demonstrating safe practice and escalating issues promptly.
· Contribute to the development of clinical and training materials within the trainee’s competence and under supervision.
· Participate in service and course evaluation activities and disseminate learning from service evaluation or small-scale projects where required.
Training & supervision
Attend and fulfil all academic and practice requirements of the UCL PG Diploma for CYP-PT Therapy, including practical and academic assessments and assignments.
· Undertake private study (minimum expectation as set by the course) in addition to placement duties.
· Engage actively with practice tutors and clinical supervisors to evidence competence development.
· Respond to supervisory feedback and demonstrate improvements in practice.
· Participate in regular appraisal and ongoing professional development activities.
Professional
· Maintain the standards of professional practice required by HFEH Mind, the employing service and the Higher Education Institution.
· Keep confidentiality of service users at all times and adhere to data protection and information governance rules.
· Ensure any risks to safety and wellbeing encountered during placement are communicated to supervisors and managed in line with policy.
· Maintain up-to-date CPD and training records in line with course and employer requirements.
· Meet the physical and professional requirements of the course and role (reasonable adjustments will be considered).
Person Specification
· Minimum of a second-class bachelor’s degree (2:2) or above in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology, Education, Childhood Development, Social Work, Speech & Language, Nursing), OR equivalent professional experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children and young people (in mental health, education, youth work or related settings).
· At least 1 year’s direct clinical experience working children/young people with autism and/or those with Learning Disabilities.
· Knowledge and understanding of the core features associated with Autism Spectrum Condition and Learning Disabilities and the typical associated support needs.
· Awareness of safeguarding children and vulnerable young people and experience of raising and managing concerns via appropriate channels.
· Ability to manage sensitive and potentially emotionally distressing caseload material with professionalism and reflective capacity.
· Demonstrable ability to study at postgraduate level and to manage academic demands alongside placement duties.
· Good time management, organisational skills and the ability to meet course and placement deadlines.
· Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to produce clear records and reports.
· IT literate (MS Office, email, record systems) and able to keep accurate case and training records.
· Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team; adaptable and culturally sensitive.

Desirable
· Previous training or professional experience in mental-health related professions (e.g. counselling, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, special educational needs teaching).

The role of Independent Visitors is to provide visiting services on behalf of NYAS which are consistent with the National Quality Standards for Children’s Homes, Residential Special School Standards, Welsh National Minimum Standards, Health and Social Care Standards Scotland and CQC regulations. - To undertake monthly visits to identified homes in accordance with the requirements of the relevant NYAS manager.

Regulation 44 visits to residential children’s homes, short breaks and secure units.
Regulation 25 visits to residential family centres.
Care Quality Commission visits to residential adult homes.
Care Inspectorate Wales regulation 8 visits to residential children’s homes.
RSS20 visits to residential special schools.
Health and social care standards Scotland residential children’s homes.
Monitoring visits to unregulated provision.
- To undertake all tasks as identified by the relevant NYAS manager, during the visits and thereafter, in order to fulfil all aspects of the role.

This is a self-employed position and you will be paid a sessional rate.

We are looking for a candidate with strong budget oversight and organisational skills to join our small team and be our lead for Camden's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, a national programme funded by the Department for Education. With the support of YCF's Head of Partnerships & Grants and CEO, you will oversee and manage a significant budget, and all project management aspects of the programme, to ensure excellent, high-quality provision for Camden's Free School Meal eligible children and young people.
In August 2025, the programme was extended nationally by the DfE for an additional three years, and we await confirmation as to the exact allocation for Camden, which would hopefully enable us to extend this role to a three year contract to 2029.
About the HAF programme in Camden and this role
Young Camden Foundation has been Camden Council’s delivery partner for the national, Department for Education funded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme since its inception in 2021. The programme distributes around £800,000 per year to support Free School Meal eligible children and young people in the borough across the main holidays of Spring, Summer and Winter.
You will lead all project management, from budget stewardship to overseeing programme delivery, with the support of the team. You will oversee a complex budget of around £800,000 ensuring its effective use throughout the year. You will ensure that each HAF programme in Camden offers young participants a diverse and enjoyable range of activities provided by respected organisations, operating at the highest levels of safety, quality, and in alignment with the Department for Education’s funding requirements. You will lead on all reporting, data processing, overseeing of invoicing, and communications of the programme.

Main purpose of the role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our fundraising strategy, working closely with the Executive Director, the Finance Team, the Insight Fundraising Officer and the Trust and Foundations consultants. The Fundraising Manager will develop existing income streams and strengthen stakeholder and supporter engagement. As Fundraising Manager, you’ll work closely with other global team members to review and implement our fundraising strategy in line with our strategic goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the development and delivery of ICC’s fundraising strategy and the success of direct marketing, telemarketing and online campaigns to generate cash, regular giving and Gift Aid.
- Plan, research and implement all aspects of direct marketing aimed at acquiring and retaining new and existing supporters.
- Establish a robust donor stewardship strategy, building strong relationships with existing and potential donors and increasing donor retention and engagement
- Lead on the cultivation and stewardship of partnerships with churches.
- To manage the direction and relationship with our Trust and Foundation consultants by collaborating in the research, writing and submitting targeted Trust applications and report on grants awarded.
- Work with the team to support the legacy giving strategy, to maximise long-term income.
- To have oversight of the in-house CRM database (Microsoft D365). Work with the team to develop competency in the effective use of our CRM database as part of our donor stewardship and reporting structure.
- To assist and promote ICCs presence at fundraising and other events.
- Manage the ongoing development and implementation of a regular giving strategy and donor care to reduce attrition rates.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate direct marketing campaigns, Trust fundraising, recurring giving and legacy fundraising, provide results and feed the learning back into the organisation.
- To keep abreast of key issues and best practices within the direct marketing/fundraising sector.
- Ensure fundraising practices comply with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Undertake additional duties as requested.
- Line manage the Insight Fundraising Officer and lead our Trusts and Foundations partner.

Job purpose:
The CHISVA will be responsible for providing a specialist service to support children, young people and families after a disclosure of child sexual abuse. You will work in a flexible and responsive way with both adults and children to deliver professional, emotional and practical support that meets their individual needs throughout the Criminal Justice Process.
We give equal priority to keeping all children and young people safe regardless of their age, disability, gender idetity, race, religion or belief, and sexual orientation.

Key Tasks and responsibilities
- Provide effective emotional support, practical support and advocacy to children, young people and safe family members following a disclosure of child sexual abuse.
- Hold and maintain a caseload of children, young people and families – able to prioritise demands and respond to shifting priorities with flexibility, care and compassion.
- Undertake needs and risk assessment with children and families using the Safety and Support Assessment. Develop individual support plans to address risks/support needs of client.
- Provide accurate, timely and concise electronic records.
- Enable children, young people, and vulnerable adults to access appropriate therapeutic interventions, engage with other support organisations and develop their own support network.
- Where necessary provide emotional and practical support through the criminal justice process, providing accurate and impartial information, liaising with Police, CPS, Registered Intermediaries, and other CJP professionals.
- Support with Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority applications.
- Provide information to children, young people, and families regarding the impact of the trauma of sexual violence and the potential for moving forward.
- Support children, young people, and vulnerable adults to access the services they require, in partnership with safe family members.
- Ensure equitable access for all children, young people and families in Nottinghamshire, including being aware of resources available regarding interpreters etc.
- Consider and respond to safeguarding issues when engaging with children, young people and vulnerable adults, working within Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Partnership policies and procedures.
- Actively engage and work within statutory and non-statutory networks of support for children, young people and families alongside partner agencies such as health, social care, Police and support services.
- Work within relevant legislation including Home Office ISVA Guidelines, Achieving Best Evidence (ABE) Guidance, Children's Act and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Contribute towards Imara service development, monitoring, and evaluation.

About the Role

At Fear Free, we take pride in delivering exceptional services across the Southwest region, and we are excited to announce that we are launching a new team delivering sexual violence therapeutic support across Wiltshire and Swindon. Part of a diverse team of professionals supporting adult and child victims of sexual violence, you will play an integral role in providing one-to-one and group support for adult survivors.
The Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) will work within a multi-agency system to provide a proactive, person-centred independent service for adult and children who are victims of sexual violence, empowering choice through informed decision making. Key elements of the role include:

Risk assessing and helping to keep service users safe (safety planning).

Working with primary and secondary schools within Wiltshire to provide support and guidance on how to support children affected by sexual violence or abuse

Providing informal education in assemblies and schools around consent and healthy relationships around Wiltshire

Provision of 1-1 psychoeducational support sessions, with a focus on safety and stabilisation.

Enabling victims to access statutory and other services.
This ISVA role requires the building of effective relationships with other agencies especially educational settings within Wiltshire that may support victims of sexual violence, developing referral pathways and creating outward facing information resources and campaigns to raise awareness and build confidence in reporting sexual violence.
The ISVA will be required to work to the Quality Standards for services supporting victims/survivors of sexual violence.
This fixed term role for 12 months will be based in our Trowbridge office, with expectation of paid travel across the area. Fear Free supports staff to work flexibly and we operate hybrid working (working both remotely and in the offices).
Key Responsibilities

To provide a person centred, client focused, independent service, distinct from the role of a crisis worker or counsellor, primarily for the benefit of the victims of sexual abuse.

About the Service
The Bexley SASS team provides advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living in Bexley. An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy team for a Family IDVA. This includes a package of support covering crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. A key aspect of the role will be to advocate on behalf of service users pursuing remedies through the criminal and civil justice systems.
About the Role
Independent Domestic Abuse Advocates provide a proactive service to survivors of domestic abuse identified as being at high risk of imminent harm.
As a Family IDVA your focus will be supporting survivors with two or more children. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and support planning with survivors and advocate on their behalf with external agencies. You look at the children’s needs and signpost them to appropriate services.
You will support the family (where safe) to remain in their own home with the support of Solace’s Sanctuary Scheme to ensure the risk is reduced and/or negated or you will advocate on their behalf for appropriate safe accommodation.
You will hold a caseload for up to three months and will provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning; engaging them in other services for additional support.
About You
You will need a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. You should have demonstrable experience of working in an IDVA or similar position with this or a similar client group.
