About the Role
The Content Creator will play a vital role in helping Urban Saints communicate with clarity, creativity, and consistency across all platforms. From video editing and creating social media graphics, to designing resources, brochures, or branded assets, this role is responsible for creating visually engaging content that amplifies our message and inspires action.
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing and producing compelling visual content across digital and print formats.
- Filming and editing videos for campaigns, training materials and resources.
- Managing and editing visual assets, including team-supplied images.
- Contributing ideas and visual concepts to support campaigns and storytelling.
- Acting as a brand guardian for visual content, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Working closely with other members of the Communications team to deliver content for campaigns, training, and wider initiatives.
Please note, this is predominantly a remote role, but with travel as the role requires. All full-time Urban Saints employees are required to attend two team residentials per year (3 days/ 2 nights each).
About You
You'll shape and deliver high-quality content that supports campaigns, promotes our training and resources, and strengthens Urban Saints’ brand both online and in print.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong design and video editing skills across digital and print formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut etc)
- Confident in video production – from filming to postproduction.
- Ability to develop content for a range of platforms including social media, web, email, and YouTube.
- Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
- Proven experience in a content creation, multimedia, or graphic design role.
- Experience creating visual content as part of multi-channel campaigns (e.g. email, social media, website etc).
- Experience working with brand guidelines and visual identities.
- Understanding of digital content trends, platform specifications, and audience behaviour.

About the Role
The Marketing and Insights Lead will drive Urban Saints’ marketing activity and use data insights to continually improve engagement, reach, and impact across all platforms. This role combines strategic planning with live performance monitoring to ensure our communications are effective and relevant.
You'll be responsible for:
- Planning and implement integrated campaigns across email, social media, and the website.
- Supporting launches, events, training, and product sign-ups with timely, engaging content.
- Working with the Communications Coordinator, writing and editing marketing copy for emails, landing pages, and social posts.
- Monitoring and reporting on digital metrics (Website, email, social media, ad performance).
- Tracking user journeys, engagement rates, and campaign ROI.
- Running A/B testing across platforms to evaluate message, format, and timing effectiveness
- Manage paid ads campaigns (E.g. Facebook, Google, Instagram).
- Supporting platform management of tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, and CRM exports.
- Providing regular updates and strategic insights to the Head of Communications.

We’re looking for a strategic, data-savvy communicator who can lead on high-impact marketing campaigns that inspire action and deepen engagement. You’ll combine a creative mindset with analytical thinking, confident in using insights to shape campaigns and improve results.

- Excellent written and verbal communication with a clear, engaging tone.
- Ability to tailor messages and content for differentaudiences and platforms.
- Confident interpreting data and using it to improve communication and engagement.
- Creative approach to problem-solving and campaign development.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and CRM platforms.
- Proven experience in marketing and digital analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital metrics, user journeys, and engagement funnels.
- Experience managing email, social media, and website content as part of integrated campaigns.

Are you passionate about supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives? Can you coordinate volunteers, who are the lifeblood of SHARe Knowsley?
You will be joining a dedicated team of 9 staff and over 40 volunteers, working for a well-respected grassroots charity. As individuals and an organisation, we are committed to welcoming, supporting and empowering refugees and people seeking asylum who live in the borough of Knowsley.
This role will require you to enjoy communicating with new and existing volunteers and have good organizational skills. You will also support the wider organization – especially the casework and community work, so an awareness of this is helpful.
The post is currently 3 days/week, with the opportunity to work flexibly across the week, but would require work on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Please read on to get an idea of the role and who we are looking for.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this post is to support an established team of volunteers and recruit and train new volunteers. It is a role that will ensure volunteers remain up to date with training and abreast of information important to giving clear support to refugees and people seeking asylum. (The percentages in brackets give and estimated distribution of time spent in each area).
1. Provide support for volunteers (15%)
- Ensure regular and effective communication with volunteers via a variety of methods: e-mail, letters, newsletters, meetings, telephone, etc.
- Provide volunteers with on-going training and development opportunities
- Ensure volunteers have periodic project review meetings, as well as appropriate social activities
2. Coordinating volunteer activities (25%)
- To have oversight of volunteers at drop in/ English classes ensuring (i. volunteers are available; ii. resources are available at site (e.g. food or clothes for drop in))
- Outreach volunteering such as befriending
- Back office volunteering (e.g. clothes sorting, admin)
- Ensuring that volunteers have appropriate roles and ways to progress
- Respond to any issues that arise that might then require training or reorganising of practices/policy
3. Recruit and train new volunteers (15%)
- Development of volunteer roles and opportunities in response to volunteer, staff and client feedback
- Co-ordinate the advertising, recruitment and assessment processes to ensure equality of access to volunteer roles
- Provide induction training for all volunteers to enable to fulfil their role (including health, safety and safeguarding)
- Ensure that volunteers understand the purpose, importance and process of data collection, case recording and monitoring systems and that they use them effectively where and as appropriate
4. Ensure quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation (10%)
- To develop and maintain volunteer policies and procedures in line with best practice (e.g. Investing in Volunteers)
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant and recognised best practice guidelines, policy requirements, employment law and quality standards in relation to volunteering input and management
- Co-ordinate specific client well-being events on a regular basis, engaging volunteers and other staff to support event development, organisation and delivery
- Maintain written accurate records on volunteer details and activity and other information as required, providing written and verbal reports as required
5. Additional duties relating to post (10%)
- Deliver and arrange access to training for team colleagues in relation to the above, where required
- With the CEO ensure that volunteers operate at all times within the principles of impartiality and confidentiality, in accordance with SHARe Knowsley’s vision, values, principles, policies and procedures
- Engage in relevant external meetings/ networks/ forums as agreed with the line manager
6. For SHARe Knowsley (10%)
- Actively participate in supervision and appraisal, review and planning sessions, team meetings, working groups and staff conferences and other meetings
- Carry out administrative duties associated with the post as required
- Work within SHARe Knowsley’s policies, procedures, guidelines and other agreed documents
