About the role:
These roles are offered on a hybrid working basis, 1 day per week from our London Singer Street office (every Tuesday). The remaining 4 days per week will be home-based but there will still be the requirement on these days to travel to London courts to deliver pre-trial visits. Therefore, it is essential the travel distance from surrounding counties outside of London is within 30 minutes to London.
As an Independent Witness Advocate you will:
- Lead on providing pre-trial, outreach & post-trial support for witnesses; ensuring their pre and post-trial needs are assessed and a plan for support is put in place so they can attend court to give their best evidence
- Provide advocacy, support in court, and emotional/practical support around their physical, mental, social or financial wellbeing
- Liaise with criminal justice partners to ensure witnesses are kept up to date with arrangements for attendance at court and where applicable, ensure special measures have been granted
- Provide practical and emotional support in a way that is approachable, flexible and caring, showing empathy at all times
- Need to be tenacious in support of your clients and being able to solve problems and surmount the challenges posed by the criminal justice system

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college. Key Responsibilities

- Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.

- Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
- Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.

Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit donor communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the college ethos and brand guidelines.

Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the members of the Marketing & Communications team to align donor messaging with campaign goals.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging copy and marketing materials for diverse audiences.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be the single point of contact for adult patients preparing for discharge from the hospital. You’ll work closely with the Adult Social Care team, health professionals, hospital practitioners, and community services to:

This could include ensuring that medication is arranged from the hospital pharmacy, someone is at home to greet them, food and heating are available, and the condition of the home is safe to return to. By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced.

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the College meets its legal and regulatory compliance requirements as an educational establishment and a charity. The focus of the role is to be responsible, with the support of the Training Administration team, for all reporting to regulatory bodies in a timely manner to ensure the College meets the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), The Open University (OU), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and other regulatory bodies. The postholder will also take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) within the organisation and ensure that the college processes all personal data in compliance with UK data protection legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for reporting internal information and meeting the reporting requirements of regulatory organisations – primarily the Office for Students (OfS), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Open University (OU), the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). This will be with the support of the Training Administration team and all other teams within the college.
- Collaborate with senior management and other department heads to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance relating to HR, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent, Communications and Finance.
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies and senior management as needed and within required deadlines
- Use external student data systems – such as HESA / Salesforce
- Perform research to remain informed regarding higher educational and other compliance requirements
- Monitor the College’s compliance and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with relevant legislation, and draft new policies when required.
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and help the organisation understand compliance risk and scope
- Record findings accurately and follow up with senior management to ensure that issues are rectified
- Conduct investigations to discover the root cause of compliance problems when they arise
- Develop systems for data collection, tracking, managing and reporting
- As DPO, ensure all personal data and sensitive information is handled within the College according to UK GDPR guidelines
- Draft new and amend existing data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders
- Serve as the main point of contact within the organisation for staff members, regulators, and relevant authorities on issues related to data protection, and provide advice as required.
- Maintain records of all data processing activities within the College
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance and to address potential issues
- Train and advise all staff on compliance and GDPR regulations, how to meet, maintain and improve compliance requirements and the impact of non-compliance on the College.
- Review College external communication, marketing materials, websites and presentations to ensure compliance with regulations

- To develop a team of volunteers to support fundraising activity. This could include delivering talks, attending events, and promoting Willow at community events.
- To foster relationships with Willow’s network of charity shops and explore collaborative opportunities to mutually support each other’s initiatives.
- To ensure accurate recording of supporter information and reporting on activity through:
- Updating the charity’s database, Raisers Edge (RE) recording all donor contact and fundraising activity.
- Using RE as a tool to aid fundraising using data insight and reporting
- To prepare end of campaign reports to improve results for future campaigns and capture learnings.
- To prepare regular income reports and updates as required.
- To keep up- to- date and comply with the rules as set by the Fundraising Regulator, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other relevant legislation and codes of practice and good practice.

As one of two Helplines Operations Managers, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of ISWAN’s helplines to ensure our services provide accurate information, appropriate advice, and comprehensive support to seafarers and their families.
You will manage the development of Salesforce and be familiar with Salesforce reporting, particularly using advanced tools like Power BI and Tableau. You will be confident liaising with our IT support service on system issues and developments.
We have no preconceptions about where the successful applicant will come from but you will bring experience of managing multi-channelled contact centre operations and best practice as well as delivering user and client service improvements.

We are seeking a Community Development Officer to lead a major in-progress project improving recognition, support, and care for people with smell and taste disorders at a local level across England.
This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months. We are now recruiting a new postholder to take this strong foundation forward through the next phase of delivery.
Over the past eighteen months, we have recruited and established a thriving network of volunteers and local groups across England. This momentum is expected to continue. The Community Development Officer will work closely with existing volunteers and groups, primarily remotely, while also attending in-person events and meetings in different parts of England as needed.
The postholder will lead the ongoing recruitment, training, and support of volunteer groups, working with them to identify opportunities for local outreach and engagement.
