Role Purpose

Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our corporate partnerships fundraising. As our Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, you will be responsible for growing income from new and existing corporate supporters through creative fundraising and engagement plans and efficient account management, ensuring all partnerships have an excellent experience of supporting Winston’s Wish and understand the impact of their support on the lives of grieving children.

Working with a high level of autonomy, but within a supportive and friendly team, you will develop a live pipeline of prospects, be creative in delivering ways to keep corporate supporters engaged and provide strong stewardship to foster long-term and sustainable partnerships.

Main Responsibilities

Account Management and Stewardship

• Confidently manage a portfolio of existing corporate supporters who, together, make a significant difference to the lives of grieving children.
• Support the delivery of the corporate supporter activities, contributing to a team target.
• Ensure all supporter records are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date on our database, and document all corporate engagement activity.
• Execute and adapt bespoke campaigns.
• Maintain an awareness of corporate giving trends, news, events, campaigns and legislation in the UK and pick up on opportunities or topical issues that will enhance the charity.
• Provide comprehensive stewardship for our corporate supporters.
• Prepare regular communications, rewards and incentives and feedback.
• Tailor impact reports to ensure supporters understand and are inspired by the impact of their support.

Fundraising

• Identify new prospects in areas and industries where the charity is less known.
• Manage pipeline, approaches and KPIs to meet ambitious income targets.
• Provide support, where appropriate, for wider fundraising activity to develop opportunities across different fundraising areas.
• Work with our Events Manager to leverage and maximise corporate participation in our evolving events programme.
• Deliver and submit creative and persuasive pitches, proposals and applications.
• Explore, develop and expand ways in which businesses can support the charity through new corporate supporter products and platforms to cultivate new and enhance existing relationships, e.g. employee volunteering, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing, sponsorships and point of sale opportunities.
• Continually raise the profile of Winston’s Wish by networking and representing the charity at events as required.

The role

The Finance and Operations Manager will oversee the charity’s back-office functions, ensuring that the charity meets the highest standards of governance and management and that the charity’s philanthropy services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

• Overseeing the management of the charity’s portfolio of investments, including expanding the range of investment options for our DAFs.

We are looking for a permanent and full-time member of staff to help develop and manage RSTMH’s profile within tropical medicine and global health. We need a passionate and creative communicator who can play a key role in meeting our communications objectives. This role is office-based in central London, with the option to work from home on Mondays.

RSTMH is a membership society formed in 1907, with around 1,800 members and Fellows in over 100 countries. We work to improve tropical medicine and global health by enabling and promoting research, sharing knowledge and convening networks through our members and Fellows and beyond. The Communications Manager will have the opportunity to develop and enhance RSTMH’s reputation as a credible and trusted voice in tropical medicine and global health.

This is a wide-ranging and exciting role. You will lead on implementing the organisation’s communications strategy, working with the leadership team to ensure it meets the aims of the wider RSTMH strategy. You’ll maintain and further develop the website and social media platforms, build links with media contacts, and source, commission and develop content. ActionAid UK is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Supporter Contact Manager to lead our dedicated contact centre team. This is your opportunity to drive excellence in supporter engagement, ensuring every interaction reflects our values of justice, dignity and empowerment.

We are seeking someone with experience of leading a contact team or similar in a complex work environment, experience of a contact centre environment and associated systems and processes as well as  experience of contributing to an operations management team. An understanding of CRM and contact systems and ability to manage project change processes as well as a commitment to work in person from our London office 2 days a week.

The Office and Services Coordinator (OSC) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across The Winch and Belsize Community Library. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for delivering a warm and welcoming front-of-house experience for visitors, including children, young people, staff, tenants, and contractors. Your main responsibilities will include managing room hire bookings to ensure a positive customer experience, overseeing ordering supplies and managing equipment and handling queries, phone calls, and mail correspondence with professionalism. You will have general oversight of building maintenance and health & safety compliance, to create a safe, efficient, and wellfunctioning environment for everyone.

Role Overview 

The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across the organisation, covering recruitment, onboarding, training, and support for performance management and employee relations. It includes managing volunteer processes and working closely with both internal managers and external HR and payroll providers. The postholder will play a key role in maintaining effective HR systems, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities 

• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multi-disciplinary teams; including recruitment, onboarding, DBS checking, training and development, absence, performance management and leavers.
• Ongoing development, coordination, and oversight of SCT’s volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and administration in collaboration with SCT’s managers.
• Working closely with SCT’s outsourced HR support.
• Providing SCT managers with guidance on volunteer recruitment and any management issues.
• Implementing, maintaining and reviewing an annual training plan for all employees.
• Maintaining up-to-date staff files and HR system records including DBS validation, handling confidential employee and volunteer data in line with data protection legislation.
• Supporting employee relations by assisting with complaints, grievances, and disciplinary procedures, including provision of support to managers on all employee-relation matters.
• Working with SCT’s Business Operations Officer to ensure accurate information is provided to SCT’s outsourced payroll administrators to ensure accuracy of all relevant information.
• Supporting the ongoing review, development and improvement of clear, consistent, and accessible policies and procedures across the organisation.
• Working closely with SCT’s managers to promote the ongoing communication, implementation, and participation in the review cycle of policies and procedures.
• Undertaking other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.

Person Specification 

• CIPD qualified to level 5 or significant HR Management experience will also be considered

• 3+ years demonstrable generalist HR Management experience or similar role types

• Demonstrable experience of working across multiple sites

• Excellent communication skills both in the written form and in person with the ability to adapt to all audiences

• Experience of presenting material and report writing to a range of audiences

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including onboarding, training, performance management, absence, and leaver procedures.
• Awareness of UK employment law and GDPR, with a willingness to learn and apply policies correctly.
