Job description

Job Title: Database Officer

Location: London (Hybrid, 1 day in office per week)

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

As Database Officer, you will be the backbone of the data management, supporting the Data & Appeals Manager and wider Development Team. Your expertise in CRM systems, data accuracy, and reporting will ensure we maximise fundraising opportunities while maintaining strict compliance with data protection laws.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain Raiser’s Edge NXT CRM database
  • Process and reconcile donations alongside the Finance team
  • Generate targeted data reports and support fundraising appeals
  • Ensure data integrity, conduct audits, and maintain GDPR compliance
  • Provide training and advice to colleagues on database use
  • Collaborate with external agencies for data-driven campaigns

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred)
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data cleaning
  • Experience managing large datasets and performing data imports/exports
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Empathy with our mission and a commitment to our values
