About you
You’ll have experience of supporting the development and implementation of strategic and operational EDI work with the ability to use data, insights and evidence to support this. You’ll have specialist leadership and influencing skills with the ability to oversee teams and senior stakeholders with implementing our EDI strategy.
 
Crucially for this role, you’ll be able to build collaborative relationships and use your communication skills to cultivate networks. You’ll have experience of using appropriate challenge and support methods, managing conflict and be able to demonstrate positive, values-led leadership. You’ll also be an effective decision-maker with he ability to consider and take accountability for risks and decisions which carry organisation-wide impact.

WHA is an international NGO, representing over 400 civil society and patient organisation members in over 120 countries. We are committed to eliminating viral hepatitis, a devastating disease that affects more than 300 million people and is now the second most deadly infectious disease in the world.

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead WHA’s delivery of the SAFEStart+ project. Focused on accelerating the elimination of mother-to-child transmission (EVT) of HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, and Chagas disease in endemic areas. The project will focus on demand generation, adoption and scale-up of innovative EVT programmes through strong community and stakeholder leadership. It will do this in part, through understanding the values and preferences of stakeholders, addressing barriers around awareness and stigma and discrimination, providing training to both community groups and health care workers and undertaking community led monitoring. These community led-activities will run alongside work in countries to strengthen health systems and supply chains and address gaps in product access.

The duties and key responsibilities of the Community Implementation Manager include:

• Plan and coordinate WHA activities related to the project to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time and funding parameters.
• Manage community implementation partners within project countries, working closely with them to develop advocacy and awareness strategies, implement community-based research , monitor budgets in line with approved policies and measure impact.
• Support the coordination of global and country community advisory boards.
• Be the main point of contact for all project partners, fostering positive working relationships to ensure effective coordination throughout the projects’ lifecycle.
• Support capacity building efforts for community groups and health care workers in project countries.
• Work with teams across WHA, including communications and advocacy, to ensure the project outcomes are being appropriately disseminated.
• Coordinate all internal and external reporting related to the project.

About you

• Strong understanding of community and global health, with experience in HIV and/or maternal and child health highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a range of demand generation and awareness raising strategies.
• Experience of community-led monitoring and community-based research.
• Fluent in Spanish (desired but not essential).

As our Counsellor (Refugee and Asylum Seekers Service), which is a post currently funded for 4 years, you will be responsible for a client load of 12 clients, offering up to 16 sessions. You will need to be responsible for all aspects of the work, including administrative procedures, following our police and protocols, including liaising with mental health services and onward referral where necessary.

You will be working as part of a well-established team of colleagues, within the department and organisation. The service predominantly works within a psychodynamic framework; therefore, a working knowledge of psychodynamic thinking is crucial for all those applying for this role including the ability to work with the unconscious and counter transference process that come up for yourself and in the work. 

Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death receives the support and care they need.

The Digital Engagement Officer (Web & Content) will manage the day to day running and continuous improvement of Sands’ websites, ensuring every page is accurate, accessible and on brand. In this exciting new role, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing & Engagement Manager and our external web agency to coordinate technical updates, troubleshoot CMS issues and track progress on support tickets.

Additionally, you will create and optimise web content that inspires, informs and converts by writing copy, sourcing stories and producing simple multimedia assets that resonate with Sands’ priority audiences. You will support campaign landing pages, paid media tracking and monthly KPI reporting, translating data into actionable insights. This will involve working with colleagues across the organisation as part of project groups sharing expert knowledge from the communications and engagement team, and supporting colleagues to successfully make updates to website pages, following best practice guidelines and advice.

By championing best practice in SEO, accessibility and analytics, and by delivering training sessions for colleagues, the role ensures our web presence remains user centred, data driven and fully aligned with Sands’ mission to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.

Experience of managing websites and CMS, including basic HTML/CSS fixes and troubleshooting is an essential requirement for this role.

You will be able to produce digital content including graphics or videos (e.g. Canva/CapCut) with the ability to support tracking setup using GA4, Tag Manager, and other analytics tools.  Knowledge of SEO, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and user-centred content principles is also required.

Strong copywriting and proofreading skills for digital content are essential, as is experience of compiling and interpreting digital performance reports.  A high level of project coordination skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines is also essential.

What we offer

We are looking for a Refuge Worker to work within our service in Hammersmith & Fulham offering high-quality support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Based in Hammersmith & Fulham, London, this role involves delivering practical and emotional support to survivors, ensuring their safety, and helping them rebuild their lives. As part of your role, you will create a safe and welcoming environment in our Refuge for our resident, in line with Refuge’s values and commitment to ending violence against women and girls.

As a Refuge Worker, you will support women through crisis, providing keywork sessions, safety planning, and advocacy. You will assist with accessing housing, welfare benefits, legal support, and other essential services while maintaining accurate case records. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the refuge, managing referrals, and working collaboratively with partner agencies. You will have the opportunity to work with statutory services as well as other charities. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and resilient individual with strong communication and organisational skills. The role

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Opportunity Centre Officer to lead operations at this innovative space, ensuring it becomes a hub of inspiration and growth for young people.

This role will oversee the Centre’s daily operations, ensure smooth delivery of engaging learning experiences, and collaborate with schools, partners, and the community to provide meaningful development opportunities for young people.

This is a fixed term contract starting late August/early September 2025 until July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

· Oversee day-to-day access and use of the Centre, including student registration and visitor management.

· Ensure the facility is safe, secure, and welcoming, including health and safety checks, safeguarding measures, and ICT setup.

· Coordinate the planning, setup, and cleanup of learning activities.

· Manage basic building maintenance, including coordinating repairs, ensuring cleanliness, and overseeing general upkeep of the facility.

Youth Engagement & Programme Delivery:

· Support external facilitators and partners in delivering inspiring and educational sessions.

· Foster a positive learning environment, ensuring young people are engaged, motivated, and safe.

· Work with partners to design and improve activities that promote personal and social development.

Administrative & Event Coordination:

· Manage the Centre’s calendar, schedule activities, and coordinate events with schools, parents, and external partners.

· Create promotional materials and manage digital communications to raise awareness of the Centre’s offerings.

· Assist the AI Campus Director with key administrative tasks.

Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, parents, students, and community organisations.

Safeguarding & Compliance:

· Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring all safeguarding policies are upheld.

· Conduct regular health and safety checks, addressing any issues proactively.

Continuous Improvement:

· Gather feedback from students, parents, and partners to identify service gaps and opportunities for enhancement.

· Contribute ideas to further develop the Centre’s programming and operational excellence.
