Role Overview
The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.
About You
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.
Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

To lead the financial management and oversight of the ADB project, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant financial accounting, reporting, and oversight. The role will support the delivery of all financial aspects of the ADB project, including donor reporting, reconciliations, cost recovery, budgeting, and compliance, in close collaboration with programme colleagues and the wider AKF(UK) finance team. To contribute to the financial management of AKF(UK)’s wider programme portfolio and supporting the Programme Finance Manager in running efficient and effective financial processes across all AKF(UK)’s programmes and grants.
Financial oversight, planning, and reporting
• Review all financial transactions related to the ADB project on a monthly basis and ensure that they are correct including cost recovery, co-financing, bank balances, and coding.
• Ensure the ADB project is up to date in the Grant Management Tracker, Co-financing Tracker and Cost Recovery forecast.
• Prepare financial information for internal reporting, including contributions to quarterly CEO reports, monthly dashboards, and co-finance updates.
• Prepare all ADB project donor financial reports and ensure consistency with internal data.
• Prepare and submit other donor financial reports as required.
• Monitor project and portfolio spending, flagging significant under & overspends in a timely manner to the Programme Finance Manager and Programmes & Partnerships team.
Financial controls, compliance, and audit
• Lead financial planning and monitoring for the ADB project, ensuring alignment with ADB compliance requirements and AKF(UK) internal controls.
• Support the design and implementation of quality controls, manuals, checklists, and tools to ensure compliance with donor requirements (ADB and others).
• Oversee compliance with donor and AKF(UK) rules on procurement, accounting, and project expenditure, supported by reporting, engagement with the field, and spot checks.
• Maintain internal tools (including AIMS) to track active ADB grants as well as other grants, ensuring data on secured funding, cost recovery, and cash balances remains up to date.
• Prepare for and support donor and statutory audits, with particular responsibility for the ADB project while also contributing to audits of other grants.
• Maintain an up-to-date audit and disallowance tracker for the ADB project, while supporting the Programme Finance Manager in tracking audit issues across all grants.
• Troubleshoot donor compliance or procurement queries, with emphasis on ADB but extending to other donor portfolios where needed.
• Act as a resource person for ADB donor compliance within AKF(UK), while sharing knowledge and lessons learned more widely across the grants portfolio.
• Support wider Programme Finance team capacity-building efforts, drawing on insights from ADB donor requirements and practices.
Grant financial management
In close consultation with the programmes & partnerships team:
• Maintain accurate financial records and grant codes for the ADB project, while supporting the set-up and management of other grants as needed.
• Ensure timely submission of cash requests and sub-grant agreements, in compliance with both ADB and AKF(UK) standards, and support the same across the wider portfolio.
• Review budgets for ADB and other donor concepts/proposals, ensuring inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, compliance with donor requirements, and consistency with narratives.
• Support the in-country project management unit (PMU) to ensure that the project is robustly managed and proactively support the resolution of challenges as they arise.
• Provide training and reference materials for implementing partners and field staff on ADB-specific donor regulations, procurement, and reporting, while contributing to broader finance training across the organisation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners and country units, with particular focus on ADB compliance but also assisting with other donor requirements as needed.
• Conduct monitoring visits and spot checks on the ADB project and participate in risk monitoring across the wider portfolio.
• Collaborate with the assigned Senior Partnerships Manager to align financial management with programme delivery.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations. The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants, particularly Afghanistan (security situation dependent). Normally this could be 1-2 trips per year.
Qualifications
• CCAB qualified accountant (desirable).
Experience
• 3 years relevant experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
• Experience of designing and managing effective administrative systems and procedures
• Experience of managing finances for large-scale, complex donor-funded projects. Experience of working with multilateral development banks (ADB, World Bank, AfDB, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Experience working in international organisations or donor agencies, including field-level implementation, is highly desirable.

We’re looking to grow our delivery team with a brand new role that is responsible for processing the referrals we receive for the Settle Programme as well as holding assessment meetings as and when necessary. The successful candidate will also be a Senior Settle Coach holding a reduced caseload and using their frontline skills to work one-to-one with care-experienced young people across London.
For this role, we anticipate that you will spend 50-60% of your time processing and responding to referrals, including taking further steps to assess the needs of the young person who has been referred. What You'll Be Doing
You will be joining our Asset Management Team, a friendly group of 16 people, who provide a high-quality service to our Housing Support colleagues and our Clients by repairing, maintaining and investing in our properties.
A little more about your day as a Fire Safety Project Manager:
• To be the main point of contact to address any issues around fire safety in our properties which needs further on-site investigation around repairs, maintenance, or any other property related matters.
• Programme and manage the delivery of Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Strategies for our property portfolio.
• Investigate any Health and Safety issues under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.
• Assist the Contracts and Compliance Manager to ensure we remain compliant at all times.
• Compile specifications for all passive and active fire safety works, procure, and ensure works are delivered to the required standard and within the specified timescales, inspect work during and at completion, and arranging payment for work.
• Request or raise orders for works to external contractors or In House Repairs Team, and ensure work is completed to the required standard and within the specified timescales.
• Have regular contact and meetings with Transform’s Inhouse Repairs Team, external contractors, and Consultants to monitor quality and delivery of work, along with performance.
• Have an overview, monitor expenditure against budget, and have input in identifying future repair needs or programmes of work.

What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, standards, and regulations.

• Considerable knowledge of fire doors, passive fire protection and remedial fire safety measures such as detection and alarms.
• Demonstrable project management and contract management experience.
• Strong IT skills and ability to manage compliance databases.
• A driving license and access to a car.
• Minimum of HNC/HND in a related discipline required to carry out this role, or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification in fire safety, surveying, construction, or property management.

We’re looking for a Customer Research Analyst to join our Customer Insight Team in a newly created role.
As a Customer Research Analyst, you’ll help us understand our supporters, donors and stakeholders even better. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll deliver research that brings our customers’ needs to life, supports informed decisions and drives meaningful engagement.
In this role, you’ll design and deliver both quantitative and qualitative research, providing clear and actionable insights that help shape strategy. Alongside the Customer Research Manager, you’ll help champion the use of insight in everything we do, identifying opportunities for market intelligence and consumer research along the way.
You’ll take part in pre- and post-campaign evaluations, design and run customer surveys, interpret data and share findings that inspire action. You’ll also collaborate with external research agencies, when needed, and help develop and promote our Insights Library so knowledge is shared and accessible to everyone.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Coach.
You will support a caseload of young people in Year 11, seeing them in their school setting or in the community if they are not attending school. Working across the East of the county, with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. You will build positive working relationships through co-located working, and accurate input into relevant databases.
You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Also supporting parents/carers to be aware of their young person’s next steps and the opportunities available.

Accessing veterinary care while living on the streets, sofa surfing or living in a hostel or temporary accommodation provider can be incredibly difficult. That’s where StreetVet comes in. We are an award-winning national charity and a registered veterinary practice with the RCVS, providing free, accessible vet care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness across the UK. Our dedicated team of volunteer veterinary professionals deliver essential services where support is needed. We take our experience out of the consulting room and onto the pavements to provide the same first opinion vet care you would expect to receive in a practice.
StreetVet also works to remove barriers to accommodation and homelessness service through our Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme, which helps hostels, day centres, and hubs implement positive pet policies and become pet-inclusive. This includes free veterinary care for registered pets, staff training, essential pet supplies, and access to virtual vet consultations via our telemedicine platform. The scheme empowers hostels to welcome pet owners without forcing them to choose between a roof over their head and their beloved companion.

Role Description
The Hostel & Day Centre Coordinator (North) will work closely with the Hostel and Day Centre Manager and the Coordinator (South) to ensure the effective administration and smooth day-to-day operations of the StreetVet Accredited Hostel & Day Centre Schemes. This role plays a key part in welcoming and onboarding new hostels and day centres into the network and supporting the ongoing engagement and success of existing partners. By fostering strong relationships with hostels, day centres, suppliers, and sponsors, the post holder will help build a connected and responsive community that ultimately supports more pets accessing hostels and day centres. The Operations Lead will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of Lepra’s UK operations. This includes managing office and facilities logistics, supporting key operational projects (such as the upcoming office move), and coordinating internal processes across HR, IT, governance, and finance systems.
The postholder will act as a central point of contact for operational queries, ensuring organisational effectiveness and compliance with internal procedures and policies.
Job Purpose
To support the Finance and Operations team which includes the HR and IT functions as well as coordinating the upcoming office move and facilities operations.
Working Relationships
You will report into the Senior Manager – HR, Operations & IT
Working with all of Lepra UK on all matters regarding HR, Operations and IT.
Close working links and collaboration with the Finance & Operations team consisting of Finance & Operations Director, Finance Manager, Senior Manager HR, Ops &IT, and Finance & Administration lead.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities, supplies, and logistics.
Act as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors, and the Facilities Management company.
Coordinate the upcoming office relocation project, ensuring timelines, budgets, and communications are effectively managed.
Support post, office bookings, and workspace coordination.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment (Fire Marshal responsibilities, health & safety checks).
Systems and Process Support
Oversee and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes across HR, finance, and IT functions.
Support CRM data management, donation logging, and reporting processes.
Liaise with the IT provider to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding and equipment setup for staff.
Human Resources and Team Support
Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters, including training and IT setup.
Assist with staff travel and accommodation bookings and logistical arrangements for Trustees or visitors.
Support recruitment administration, including posting adverts and liaising with partner organisations and universities.
Project and Governance Support
Support internal operational improvement initiatives and help embed good governance and compliance practices.
Provide administrative support for internal audits, policy reviews, and Board-related tasks as required.
General
Provide cross-cover for colleagues within the Finance & Operations team during periods of absence.
Undertake any other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the organisation.

Qualifications
Essential
· Qualification in operations, business administration, HR, or finance.
· Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in business administration, management, finance, or a related field.
Desirable
· CIPD Level 3 and above
· AAT Level 3-4
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
· At least two years’ experience in operations, office management, administration, HR, or finance support.
· Experience coordinating multiple workstreams or projects.
· Familiarity with HR systems, CRM databases, or finance software.
· Awareness of facilities management and/or health and safety responsibilities.
· Experience in contributing to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, or process redesign initiatives.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-team processes, and maintain strong attention to detail.
· Confident user of Microsoft Office and other business systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
· Proven experience in supporting organisational policies and compliance (e.g., GDPR, health and safety, or HR procedures).
