About the role:
This is a hugely exciting role that will be part of Birthrights Senior Leadership team and play a key part in helping Birthrights’ meet its ambitions and achieve its potential. Birthrights
To date, fundraising efforts have been led by the CEO. We are seeking an experienced fundraising and business development professional responsible for co-ordinating Birthrights fundraising ambitions – including developing and delivering a new fundraising strategy that is aligned with our new organisational strategic framework. We want to strengthen our longer-term financial stability and ensure our fundraising aligns with our commitments to anti-oppressive practices.

You will be resourceful and organised, with the ability to build great relationships and have excellent co-ordination and administration skills. IRC Education Programming UK
IRC has been delivering education programmes in the UK since May 2022. This consists of the Healing Classrooms Programme (and its various iterations) and the Healing Spaces programme. The Healing Classrooms programme delivers trauma-informed training to schools and teachers to help them better support refugee and asylum-seeking students. The Healing Spaces programme is similar but provides training to volunteers and staff that support refugee and asylum-seeking youth outside of school settings.
The Purpose of the Role

The position reports to the Education Manager, UK. The position supervises the Education Officer. The Senior Education Officer also works closely with and receives technical guidance from RAI education technical units and the senior integration officer, as well as the grant management team.
Key Accountabilities
Programme design and delivery

Lead Healing Classrooms design processes that ensure programmes are aligned to IRC’s Outcomes to Evidence framework, evidence-based, and appropriate to context to maximize impact.

Duties and responsibilities:
The purpose of the Programme Officer role is to support the successful delivery of the In2STEM Programme. You will be responsible for recruitment, managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts), and managing relationships with supporters and funders. The Society for the Environment (SocEnv) is the body responsible for the registration of environmental professionals around the world. They are the custodian of the Chartered Environmentalist, Registered Environmental Practitioner and Registered Environmental Technician professional registers, and since 2004 have established a sound platform as the body tasked with championing and registering the expertise of environmental professionals across sectors.

As Local Mobilisation Officer, you will support the delivery of our ambitious programme to mobilise food banks in the Trussell network to campaign for change. You will support the development and delivery of campaign content and resources for our food bank network, leading on specific elements as required and ensuring people with lived experience are at the heart of their campaigning. ROLE PURPOSE
As our Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover, 0.8 FTE, Fixed term for 12 months), you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting our charity and strengthening our administration and governance. Meeting management
- Plan and coordinate relevant meetings to ensure they are purposeful and relevant. These will include Board meetings, Senior Leadership Team Meetings, Leadership Group meetings and any other general committee meetings.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for all meetings, arranging suitable meeting premises or software, preparing and circulating agendas and meeting papers in consultation with the relevant participants (e.g. Chair of the Board, CEO and Senior Leadership Team).
- Coordinate catering requirements and liaise with the finance team to make purchases.
- Take high-quality and accurate meeting minutes and circulate them for appropriate approval and sign-off.
- Ensure prompt follow-up with agreed action points and follow through with ongoing delivery of commitments.
Governance support
- Provide administrative support where applicable to meet the charity’s requirements with
- Companies House and the Charity Commission.
- Support with Trustee recruitment, induction and training.
- Support the charity’s continuous improvement and compliance using tools such as the Governance
- Code.
Senior Leadership Team coordination
- Support with coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support members of the Senior Leadership Team or their guests with the use of our core systems and software (Google Workspace, Google Meet, Slack, Mural, Zoom).
- Process any travel expenses for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage charity records: provide historical reference by supporting procedures for the retention and disposal of records.
- Welcome guests and provide tours of facilities or support guests to use online meeting software where required.
Other duties
- Such other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the organisation, appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post.

Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Specialist to focus on three key areas; Salesforce Administration, training, and process documentation.
As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will be the first point of contact for Salesforce support and training across all staff in all 18 countries. At Marie Curie, we are dedicated to support individuals and families affected by terminal illness across the UK. As a Support Line Officer, you'll play a key part in making a difference to those in need.
Joining our Information & Support Team on a part-time basis, you'll provide crucial assistance to those in need during challenging times. You'll provide personalised support by offering a compassionate ear, sharing relevant information, and directing individuals to the resources they need.
Our Support Line Officers may not be counsellors or medically trained, but they are dedicated to delivering a professional service and providing reassurance during difficult times. Whilst this role can at times, be challenging due to the nature of the calls, the fulfilment that comes from making a positive impact on someone's life makes this role incredibly rewarding.
In this role, you will:
- Respond to a variety of enquiries from individuals affected by terminal illness, as well as their families, friends, or professionals. These inquiries may range from practical matters concerning finances or legal arrangements to accessing Marie Curie services, as well as emotional concerns such as grief and loss.
- Utilise the resources available through the Marie Curie Information and Support Service, along with other trusted sources primarily online, you will address inquiries, gather information, and direct individuals to the support they require. This may involve communication via phone, web chat, and other channels, as well as moderating our online community and undertaking additional project work to enhance our service.
- Apply relevant safeguarding procedures when required, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the individuals contacting the helpline.
- Accurately record information into the database, ensuring data quality and date protection guidelines.
What we are looking for:
- You need to have excellent communication skills, a warm heart and a caring and compassionate soul.
- A genuine interest in helping others, you are patient, adaptable and know how to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- This role can be challenging at times, if you are patient, resilient and a great listener, you will excel in this role.
- Whilst this role will see you spend a considerable amount of time on the phone, there is also an administrative element, so a background in office administration would certainly be beneficial.
- Ideally you will come from a charity, health or social care background or have demonstrable customer service experience from another industry (such as a contact centre)
- Experience in a customer care / helpline or telephone support role is beneficial.
