This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Refuge Worker in Derby.

The post holder will provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our refuges. This includes safety planning and enabling women to access housing, welfare, benefits, and legal advice. A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that women are provided with a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

We’re seeking a Finance Manager to lead robust financial reporting and governance across 80 parish sites, while supporting central operations from our Crawley base.

In this key role, you’ll produce timely and accurate management accounts, oversee cloud-based reporting, and lead on the preparation of annual statutory accounts. You’ll be the primary contact for external auditors and play a central part in reporting to our Trustees and Diocesan Finance Committee.

You’ll also manage cashflow forecasting, tax compliance, treasury and investment activity, and VAT (for one subsidiary). Charity sector experience is highly desirable, but your collaborative, flexible leadership—especially of a diverse network of staff and volunteer finance teams—will be most essential.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll oversee the support of cloud-based reporting for 80 parish sites and the delivery of timely, accurate management accounts for central operations based at our Crawley site. You will have a key role in providing high-quality financial reporting to our Trustees and Diocesan Finance Committee (DFC). You'll also lead the team in producing statutory audited accounts, acting as the principal contact for external auditors.

With additional responsibility for cashflow forecasting, treasury and investment management, tax compliance, VAT (for one subsidiary), and gift aid, this role ensures that the Diocese maintains robust financial governance. While Charity sector experience is a significant advantage in this position, it is your flexible and positive leadership of a diverse staff and volunteer finance community across some 80 sites that will set you apart.

Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder. 

At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.

One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly. 

As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.

THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. We are looking for a passionate fundraiser who can take ownership of our community fundraising and empower our members and supporters in their fundraising ventures. You’ll act as the face of THS for people looking to raise money in a variety of wonderful ways – ensuring they have what they need to be as successful as possible. This will include managing a number of key events such as the London Marathon, Ride London and Swim Serpentine. 

This role would be ideal for someone with 2-3 years’ experience and looking to take the next step in their fundraising career. The purpose of the role is to:

Community Fundraising

·Supporting and running the community fundraising activities - engaging our centres, signing up new members, stewarding our donors, being the key point of our enquiries

• Provide guidance and support for supporters undertaking community fundraising and act as a key first point of call. Developing and improving the supporter journey with new materials.

About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.

Our project, Kempton: Clean Water for Life - reaching a wider audience, is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we aim to transform Kempton Steam Museum’s engagement with visitors and the local community, while enhancing support for volunteers and care of collections. Three new part-time staff roles are being created to focus on volunteering, collections and managing the project.

The part-time Museum Operations and Project Manager will manage day-to-day operations and oversee delivery of the project initiatives. We will also be recruiting a Curatorial Officer (one day per week) and a Volunteer Coordinator (two days per week).

The Role

This is a mainly office based role working at the Circuit office at Woodthorpe Methodist Church, Ashford, Middlesex.  This post is for 16 hours per week to be worked flexibly by mutual agreement with the Superintendent Minister.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder is a Christian and is sympathetic to the values, aims and ethos of the Methodist Church.

We’re now looking for a Head of Data & Insight to lead this change. You’ll shape how data is managed and used across the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association — ensuring it’s accurate, secure, and drives decision-making at every level. Leading a skilled team, you’ll oversee reporting, analysis, and compliance, while providing high-quality insight to support our charitable objectives and make a real difference for people living with and affected by MND.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, motivate and develop the Data and Insight team to provide expert support across the Association.
• Line manage 3 direct reports.
• Work with stakeholders to set priorities and agree deliverables.
• Oversee workflows to ensure deadlines and service level agreements are met.
• Maintain and continuously improve data quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with legislation including the General Data Protection Regulations.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and data protection matters to directors and senior managers.
• Advise on projects and initiatives, ensuring data and insight are effectively embedded in plans.
• Collaborate with Technology heads and actively contribute to leadership discussions and strategy.
• Support the delivery of the Association’s Digital, Data and Technology strategy.

About You:

• Extensive experience in managing large CRM or care systems, ideally in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
• Proven experience keeping up to date with compliance, data protection and other regulatory legislation.
• Skilled in resolving complex data protection challenges.
• Experienced in campaign and database analysis and management using advanced tools such as MS Dynamics, FastStats and SQL.
• Knowledgeable in customer relationship management principles.
• Able to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Collaborative, with the ability to work across teams and influence at all levels.
• Confident in explaining technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Advanced problem-solving ability.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role at North London Open Spaces, and directly contribute to and make a meaningful impact in the conservation and protection of these cherished green spaces. 

As a member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will serve as the primary subject matter expert at NLOS for nature conservation, conceiving and leading on initiatives, advising colleagues, and working collaboratively both internally and externally.  They will have responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day management of most of Hampstead Heath and all of Highgate Wood, and will also oversee a number of services that function across and support the four open spaces (eg, arboriculture and tree management, waste and recycling, conservation, and ecology).  

For the better performance of their duties, the Head of Conservation will be required to reside in accommodation that is provided on site and will be scheduled onto an on-call and duty manager rota with other colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for nature conservation at Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood, Queen’s Park, and West Ham Park
• Oversee the day-to-day management of Highgate Wood and most of Hampstead Heath
• Oversee arboriculture / tree management, waste management, conservation, habitat creation/restoration and management, wildlife management, water body management, and climate change adaptation across North London Open Spaces
• Lead and motivate a team of 25-30 multi-skilled professionals committed to the conservation of these four sites
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, including environmental protection, climate change, nature recovery, wildlife protection, flood risk management, and health and safety.

About You

We are looking for a high-energy and innovative leader with a strong background in nature conservation, open space management, and team leadership. 

The successful candidate will bring:

• Demonstrable experience in managing complex public open spaces.
• Comprehensive experience developing and delivering biodiversity and land management programmes and projects in a range of habitats, ideally within an urban setting.

• Significant experience managing complex conservation work and projects across varied landscapes
• Significant knowledge of biodiversity and wildlife management, including land and water management.

• Strong experience managing a diverse team of professionals in an operational environment. 

• Experience of implementing legislation and policy relevant to biodiversity conservation, planning guidance, and site designation for wildlife conservation and species status designations.
• A highly creative, entrepreneurial and ‘can do’ approach to problem solving, with the ability to remain resilient in the face of challenges. 
• Strong quantitative skills and comfort interrogating and analysing data and budgets.
