To successfully lead the Grants team and raise voluntary income from a range of Grantmakers including Trusts, Foundations and local Government grant funders contributing to an overall team target of £1-million +. Working effectively with a grants team of three, and across the organisation, you will meet team annual targets of circa £675,000 through finding new opportunities, building excellent relationships with funders and managing the team effectively. This will lead to more young people reached by Eikon’s services.
Responsibilities
Income generation
· Lead responsibility for raising current annual team target of £675,000 for restricted and unrestricted income
· Work to agreed metrices including an annual target of £220,000 - £250,000/year with a pipeline including statutory, national & regional grant funders (some being invite only).
· Develop and lead networking plan (internal/external) to secure long-term grant and statutory funding opportunities to help increase financial income year on year.
Account Management
· Lead a stewardship framework, ensuring excellent account management of funders across the team (including own portfolio)
· Lead plans for the year, thinking creatively to develop new engagement opportunities such as panels, breakfast meetings and other events
· Collaborate with other leads and managers in the team to maximise opportunities through relationships, for example Major Donors, Corporate partnerships and Individual Givers.
Management
· Line management two staff members (Senior Grants Fundraiser and Trust Fundraiser), creating a positive and supportive working culture supporting them to meet their targets
· Lead on managing pipeline information on Donorfy, being able to pull reports for information and analysis including:
o Provision of data and narrative for monthly team meetings
o Contribution to Board reporting with narrative and pipeline information
o Analysis for annual planning sessions
Quality and standards
· Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.
· Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
· Prepare relevant Grant Agreements and contractual information.
· Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.
· Carry out required basic due diligence on new funders.
Finance and resources
· Budget responsibility with authorisation up to agreed limits
· Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.
Communications and relationships
· Work collaboratively with the Communications Lead to devise annual communications and marketing plans, ensuring Eikon is strategically positioned externally.
· Work collaboratively with service leads ensure new services developed meet funder needs and requirements
Strategy/transformation work
· Lead on developing and delivering annual grants plan
· Participating in a Leads network, contribute regularly to organisation matters including strategies, annual plans and budgeting.
Organisational requirements

Pathway's Business Development Manager plays a key role in our small core team, working with staff across the organisation to develop our offers to NHS partners and building and managing relationships with external funders and partners from the statutory, charity and corporate sectors. Reporting to the Chief Executive the postholder plays a leading role in developing strategies to increase our impact, diversify our revenue streams and support the spread and replication of evidence-based models of care and service improvements, emerging from Pathway’s own work and our wide inclusion health networks.
The main tasks are:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Research and identify opportunities to spread Pathway's models of improved care, including new routes to NHS commissioners, budget holders, and innovative funding mechanisms. With senior support, identify target contacts and generate leads to develop and diversify Pathway's revenue streams and carry out planning to adapt to the external environment.
2. Grant Writing & Funding Applications
Lead and co-ordinate the development of high-quality grant applications and service business cases, working across Pathway's teams to gather evidence, articulate impact, and make compelling cases for support to NHS commissioners and Trusts, charitable foundations, and corporate partners.
3. Relationship Management
Build, manage and track relationships with NHS commissioners, system partners, clinical champions, corporate partners and funders through new and existing mechanisms. Represent Pathway externally, developing a deep understanding of commissioners' and funders’ needs, and propose ways Pathway can plan to meet them. Help staff, Fellows, and close partners to understand these needs and how Pathway may need to change in response.
4. Marketing & Communications
Work with the Communications Manager to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materials that increase Pathway's impact and externally generated income. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Pathway's care innovations and service models, and promote these in an NHS-appropriate style. Keep abreast of developments in the NHS to ensure Pathway's communications and marketing activities connect with current health service concerns.
About you - You need to have:
i. excellent oral and written communications skills including presentation skills
ii. experience of building trust, confidence and excellent working relationships with clients and partners
iii. experience of working within the health or health inclusion field preferably within NHS commissioning organisations or public health
iv. demonstrable knowledge of NHS commissioning structures and practices

vi. the credibility to describe and promote care and service quality improvements developed by Pathway and practitioners across our networks

Pathway’s offices are in London but with limited desk space. The postholder will be expected to split their time between the office and working from home with an expectation of at least two days a week in the office – precise arrangements to be agreed with the CEO.

What We’re Looking For:

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Fundraising, the Senior Programme Fundraising Manager will play a central role in strengthening programme fundraising capacity across country teams and the global fundraising function. With a particular focus on institutional fundraising, you'll provide technical leadership to support country directors and in-country fundraising colleagues to build high-quality donor engagement, develop and progress funding opportunities, and manage donor compliance across the full funding cycle. You'll line manage country-based fundraising roles (currently across Moldova, Kenya and Ukraine), helping to build strong pipelines, shape fundable propositions, coordinate high-quality proposal development, and ensure excellent stewardship, reporting and internal alignment across systems and sign-off processes.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in institutional and/or programme funding, with a demonstrable track record of developing compelling proposals and managing funder requirements and compliance. You'll be confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders, providing donor intelligence and engagement support (including with UNICEF offices, bilateral donors, UN agencies and EU actors), and translating complex programme work into clear, credible and fundable narratives. You'll also have the leadership and coaching skills to line manage and develop colleagues across geographies, and the judgement to identify and escalate risks while strengthening tools, processes and ways of working. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and trusts and foundations There is huge scope to develop both income streams at PSTT as this is a newly created position with the responsibility for growing and further developing these income streams.
This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape the income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing partners with an incredible supporter experience. There will be an element of change as the organisation embeds an internal culture that effectively supports fundraising.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Fundraising, the Senior Programme Funding Manager will play a central role in strengthening programme fundraising capacity across country teams and the global fundraising function. With a particular focus on institutional fundraising, you'll provide technical leadership to support country directors and in-country fundraising colleagues to build high-quality donor engagement, develop and progress funding opportunities, and manage donor compliance across the full funding cycle. You'll line manage country-based fundraising roles (currently across Moldova, Kenya and Ukraine), helping to build strong pipelines, shape fundable propositions, coordinate high-quality proposal development, and ensure excellent stewardship, reporting and internal alignment across systems and sign-off processes.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in institutional and/or programme funding, with a demonstrable track record of developing compelling proposals and managing funder requirements and compliance. You'll be confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders, providing donor intelligence and engagement support (including with UNICEF offices, bilateral donors, UN agencies and EU actors), and translating complex programme work into clear, credible and fundable narratives. You'll also have the leadership and coaching skills to line manage and develop colleagues across geographies, and the judgement to identify and escalate risks while strengthening tools, processes and ways of working. SBP is a growing organisation with an exciting portfolio of nature recovery projects across Scotland. Our key income streams include grants from charitable trusts, foundations and statutory bodies, philanthropic donations, corporate partnerships, regular giving and appeals. We have a strong track record in fundraising from trusts and foundations, and we are currently in receipt of grants from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other significant environmental funders.
Our Fundraising Team comprises a Rewilding Investment Lead (who develops corporate partnerships) and a Trusts and Foundations Lead, led by our Fundraising Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Trusts and Foundations Lead, you would establish and maintain relationships with a wide portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, and be responsible for securing both project-specific and core income.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifying and researching funding opportunities, including due diligence as appropriate.
Networking, and building and stewarding relationships with prospective funders.
Liaising with senior, project and finance staff to identify, prioritise and cost key fundraising needs.
Managing a dynamic pipeline of applications matched to the agreed fundraising priorities.
Preparing and submitting compelling expressions of interest and funding proposals, including accurate financial information as required.
Processing grant offers and ensuring income is recorded accurately.
Managing a schedule of reporting and stewardship deadlines to ensure timely feedback and thanks to funders.
Securing progress updates from colleagues delivering funded work, in order to produce high-quality reports that meet funders’ requirements.
Seeking feedback in relation to unsuccessful bids, in order to guide and strengthen future proposals.
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records on our fundraising CRM database.
Contributing to the development of fundraising strategies, plans and campaigns.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Salary: £35,500 - £37,500 FTE, depending on experience. Salaries are paid on the last working day of each month by bank transfer and cover the period of the first of the month to the last day of the month.
Contract: Permanent position.
Place of work: This role is home-based and will require a suitable home office working environment. SBP will provide a laptop and additional equipment as needed.
Travel: Attendance of team meetings held across Scotland will be required (typically two to three times per year), and the role may also involve occasional travel elsewhere within the UK. Travel expenses will be paid in accordance with SBP’s expenses policy. Applicants must be based within a reasonable commuting distance and must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship).
Hours: We are open to this role being full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE, equating to
22.5 hours per week). Working hours are flexible. The nature of the post may require occasional evening and weekend work. Paid overtime is not routinely available, but time off in lieu will
be given.
Flexibility: Subject to ensuring that the needs of the charity and the role are met, SBP endeavours to meet the flexible working needs of its staff.
Holidays: 28 days FTE (pro rata for part-time), including public holidays, plus 5 additional office closure days between Christmas and New Year.
Pensions: We offer a workplace pension scheme with a 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Notice Period: 1 month during the probationary period, thereafter 2 months.

The role
The donor experience & stewardship manager will report to the head of fundraising operations & strategy.
We are seeking a creative and driven donor experience manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will lead on creating and delivering a gold-standard experience for major donors supporting the Royal Free Charity, showcasing the impact their support has across our hospital sites. Your efforts will play a key role in ensuring continued, uplifted support for the charity.
You will play an important role within our Fundraising Operations team, helping to build relationships, and increase income, in a pivotal year for the charity, after our silent phase capital campaign launch. Your role will have a varied workload, supporting both core fundraising and campaign stewardship. The role will offer significant scope for development, giving you the opportunity to develop your skillset in a supportive, ambitious, and high-performing team.
The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated c.£4m through donations in 2025/26, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises three teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
· Our fundraising operations team provides operational support for our fundraising and the wider charity through the provision of data and systems support, prospect research, stewardship, gift processing, reporting and governance. We underpin the work of the entire department.
