Job description

Harris Hill is delighted to be working with a long-established national charity supporting communities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, in their search for a talented Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager.

This pivotal role has a strong focus on developing and managing strategic corporate partnerships, while also overseeing a wider portfolio of high-value income streams including major donors, trusts and foundations, and legacy supporters.

You’ll play a key part in shaping the organisation’s fundraising strategy – building innovative, mutually beneficial corporate partnerships, cultivating long-term relationships, and securing vital income to ensure the charity’s sustainability and growth.

As well as personally leading on high-value relationships, you’ll line manage and support a small team, and collaborate across departments to identify opportunities, craft compelling partnership packages and demonstrate impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on developing, securing and stewarding corporate partnerships that deliver significant income and impact.
  • Develop and deliver a wider philanthropy and partnerships strategy across major donors, trusts, foundations and legacy giving.
  • Create tailored, persuasive proposals and corporate packages that align with partner priorities.
  • Cultivate, steward and grow long-term supporter relationships across all high-value income streams.
  • Lead stewardship events and engagement activities that inspire, retain and grow support.
  • Manage budgets, report on income targets and ensure compliance with best practice.
  • Line manage and develop team members.

About You

We’re looking for a proactive, strategic fundraiser with:

  • A proven track record of securing significant funds from corporate partners, with additional experience across major donors and/or trusts and foundations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and negotiate high-value agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating compelling corporate proposals.
  • A strategic mindset, able to identify opportunities, design partnership packages and deliver growth.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Solid knowledge of compliance and fundraising best practice.

You’ll be a creative, relationship-driven fundraiser who enjoys building long-term partnerships and working collaboratively to deliver impact.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £39,000 – £42,500 per annum.
  • Employer pension contributions up to 10%.
  • Life assurance from day one.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Hybrid working (2 days in the Oxford office).

To apply, please submit your CV and a short covering statement outlining your interest in the role and your relevant experience.
