Following a recent audit, we’re recruiting a Digital Project Manager to set up and establish how NCT creates, promotes and manages its parent-facing content now and into the future.
About the role
In this role you will develop and deliver against a comprehensive project plan that creates a rigorous process for the governance, review, redevelopment, publication, and promotion of NCT’s Parent Content. This includes creating a framework capturing key roles, responsibilities, processes, and interdependencies.
You will work as part of a team, building and maintaining effective and robust relationships with key stakeholders involved in delivering against the project’s aims, with focus on the fast track of the review and publication of the first phase of content, establishing a process for further phases, and embedding into a business-as-usual state.
Working with the Project Team, you will embed key project management principles relevant to the project, including building processes with the Patient Information Forum (PIF) accreditation scheme in mind, with a view to NCT achieving this accreditation in the near future. You will help establish and report upon existing and/or new KPIs that demonstrate impact from a charitable, fundraising, inclusivity and digital compliance perspective.
The main objectives of the role are to:
· 1. Prepare and execute a project plan that establishes a clear process of review, rationalisation, publication, and promotion of revised and new parent content.
· 2. Refresh our governance framework, ways of working and processes that involve key stakeholders across NCT. This includes establishing external expert groups, advisers and partners, including parents.
· 3. Support the embedding of new ways of working that clearly demonstrate impact against a suite of parent impact and engagement KPIs and;
· 4. Support the upskilling of key members of the Communications and Campaigns Team, utilising mentoring techniques to ensure the project’s infrastructure and approach is embedded long term

Refugee Biriyani and Bananas (RBB) is a small grassroots organisation that provides humanitarian aid to displaced communities in Greece and worldwide. We are looking for someone with the skills and determination to help grow our charity over the coming years through effective fundraising across various revenue streams.
We are looking to grow from a small to medium-sized charity over the coming years and to scale the humanitarian aid we can provide across multiple locations. RBB is led by founder and CEO Ruhi Akhtar, 5 engaged Trustees, and a small team of staff and volunteers running our programmes.
To achieve this, we are opening this new role in RBB, looking for an experienced, creative and driven Fundraising Manager with a proven track record of income generation for small charities. The individual will lead on all aspects of our revenue growth with a focus on building a pipeline of opportunities and fundraising capacity across the organisation. We expect there to be a focus across all revenue streams including, but not limited to, Trusts and Foundations, Crowdfunding and Individual Donations.
Role Summary
The person in this role will work closely with the CEO to improve and execute on RBB’s new Fundraising Strategy with the aim to generate more income for our objectives. We expect the incoming Fundraising Manager to continue work on improving and defining our strategy and to execute upon it.
To date, RBB’s CEO has split her time across fundraising and project implementation. This role will provide additional capacity to focus on the overall development of the charity, as well as providing specialist expertise. As such, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proactive in identifying the key priorities of work to be done and to take a lead.
RBB has a strong track record with small grants and public crowdfunding. Our ideal Fundraising Manager has experience across both these areas and can manage these strands. Alongside these, we have further ambitions to grow our individual donations – including growing recurring donations – as well as corporate in-kind and financial donations.
We are also excited to explore innovative and alternative fundraising streams. These might include influencer marketing, ad campaigns, leveraging student networks or working in partnership with other charities to launch common crowdfunders or develop collaborative bids to foundations.
This is the second full-time role taken on by the charity. As such, the selected individual will become a core part of our small but ambitious charity. The right candidate will demonstrate a passion for helping charities grow in size and impact, and ideally have experience in the refugee and migrant sectors. The Fundraising Manager will be expected to represent the charity publicly to donors and the wider third sector.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of charitable/business development more generally, including Impact Measurement, Communications, Strategy and Project Management.
This role is remote. However, we expect the selected candidate to visit the charity’s work in the field – most likely in Greece – during the first few months of work, and work alongside staff and volunteers to better understand the situation on the ground. We believe this is important to fully understand and represent the charity. All travel costs will be covered by the charity.

The Financial Inclusion Managers will play a central role in helping us achieve our vision for an end for the need for food banks in the UK. This is a varied, proactive and fast-paced role responsible for day-to-day coordination of local and regional projects and partnerships and providing direct support to food banks in your local area. The role will focus on delivering support and services to Trussell Trust food banks and partner organisations to develop and optimise timely access to financial inclusion support to those visiting (or at risk of needing to visit) food banks including through individual meetings, development visits, regional events, training sessions and national conferences.

· Assist food banks to develop their financial inclusion offering by providing advice and support to develop new initiatives and partnerships, optimise existing ones and/or develop referral relationships with advice sector partners

About the role:
The purpose of the Fundraising Manager’s role is to develop the role and fundraising strategy of the organisation. You will support the CEO with creating the role, strategy, systems, and activities of income generation for the organisation. You will lead in securing funds from trusts and foundations through grant applications and develop the individual giving campaign as well as leading the growth and future development of new income streams from individuals, corporate partnerships, and other sources. The role
FareShare’s Food Team works with the UK food industry to rescue as much surplus food as possible. Our ability to build strong and meaningful partnerships with food businesses is central to our long-term strategy and our continued ability to support charities with much needed food. FareShare have ambitious food volume targets and must remain agile and innovative to continue to access and redistribute food.
As the Programme Manager – FLEX and Food Intervention you will be central to this ongoing agility; leading and delivering important projects which improve our flexibility and offer to the food industry. This role will be primarily delivering our Food Life Extension Project (FLEX).
The FLEX project is a pioneering UK project exploring ways to manage the inconsistency of surplus food supplies and to prevent gluts of produce going to waste.
THE PROBLEM - FareShare has always faced a challenge during UK harvest periods of being offered more of a particular food than our charities can possibly use in time, farmers and growers must estimate yields and with a fluctuating climate this can often lead to surplus.
THE SOLUTION - We are taking short life foods, particularly produce, and canning, freezing, juicing and cooking them turning them into long life sources of nutrition for our charities. We aim to increase the volume of accepted produce, expanding our year-round offering to communities and create a national store of food which can be drawn upon when fresh supplies are low.
The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust have supported this initiative with a generous donation over 3 years. Our ambition is to use this funding to build long term sustainable solutions for FareShare to accept these gluts of produce to ensure year-round support for communities. The project has been running small scale trials for the first phase, and we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to take this project into the next phase, delivering a significant step change in the volume of food rescued over the upcoming UK harvests.
You will work closely with Account Managers in the Food Team to ensure that projects align with wider partnership plans, whilst being understood and engaged with by all relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, for the FLEX project you will be central in our continued reporting to the Julia and Hans Rausing Trust on how their generous donation has helped save previously wasted food and supported communities.
Excellent organisational and project management skills are an essential part of this role; you will need to co-ordinate and lead several, often complex projects concurrently. You will need to ensure that all projects have clear timelines and measurables, and that any key risks are identified, communicated and mitigated. Timelines are particularly important with the fluctuating and short dated nature of the produce we seek to rescue.
We are looking for a dynamic and confident individual who can bring creativity and initiative to The Food team and project programmes to move from initial trial phase through the development of the governance and blueprint, and into embedded business as usual operations. Main areas of responsibility
FLEX Project
Programme Strategy & Development
- Collaborate with FareShare's senior management to support in the development of a holistic strategy and operating model for the FLEX programme.

Partner Engagement & Onboarding

We are looking for an individual to join the Grants Team on an interim basis for paternity cover to help support the development and delivery of the Rothschild Foundation’s grants programmes. As a Grants Manager you will help us to identify, assess and manage grants across our funding programmes.
We manage two open access application programmes in Buckinghamshire and a wider UK programme of grant-making where we pro-actively identify organisations to work with in our areas of interest. These include culture and regenerative food systems, connecting with activity at Waddesdon Manor and Estate, the home of the Foundation. The Grants Manager role will have a particular focus on our regenerative food and farming programme, where we are funding direct delivery organisations, as well as convening stakeholders and other funders championing a sustainable approach.
We aim to be an approachable funder focused on developing strong relationships with the organisations that we fund. A big part of the role will be developing relationships with a wide range of third sector organisations and supporting them to deliver effective approaches to community needs and issues within our areas of interest.
