The Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join Brentford FC Community Sports Trust. This is a true generalist role, requiring active involvement at all levels of HR, from transactional and administrative tasks to providing strong HR advisory support and managing payroll processes. 

This is a newly created role and a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent HR support and is eager to contribute at all levels.

Main Purpose of Job

The HR Advisor will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, fostering positive employee relations, and contributing to the organisation's overall success. You will provide a professional and efficient HR service to managers and employees throughout the Trust. 

You will be responsible for preparing the monthly payroll processes and will lead on the benefits administration (including pensions) and collaborate with our benefits provider to ensure member benefits are processed correctly. 

You will ensure  that our HR processes operate efficiently, consistently embody our organisational values, and meet legal and best practice standards.

The Deputy Service Manager supports the Service Manager in effectively managing all operational matters within their designated services, including line management of frontline staff.

The Deputy Service Manager shares responsibility for ensuring that a holistic and cohesive approach to customer support is embedded across accommodation services. Look Ahead operates trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches, ensuring customers benefit from strengths-based support practices. The role requires an individual who embodies psychologically informed practice through their leadership style.

Oaklands & St Kilda consists of two supported accommodation services, each providing six mental health rehabilitation units for young people aged 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health-related hospital admission. The aim is to support young people to gain and develop the necessary skills for independent living and to manage transitions from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult Mental Health Services.

Together, these services support up to 12 young people at any one time, offering a welcoming, supportive environment on a spot-purchase basis.

The successful candidate will deputise for the Service Manager when required. This includes direct line management, leadership, coaching, and supporting Specialist Support Workers, Support Workers, and Waking Night Support Workers. Responsibilities also involve ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements, financial regulations, and Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures.

The role of Deputy Manager will involve five 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

This is an exciting time for First Give, as we have recently launched our three-year strategy and our ambition to activate the generosity of a million young people by 2034. In order to meet the requirements of the organisation for this ambitious growth a new 3 year fundraising strategy has been developed which includes expanding and diversifying our fundraising streams into Corporate and HNWI. We have also recently launched recruitment for a Fundraising Campaign Board Chair. The Campaign, A Route to A Million, aims to raise an additional £1.5 million over the next 3 years.

Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from High Net Worth Individuals and developing corporate partnerships – from first engagement to account management and delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Deputy Director. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser and communicator with experience managing and deepening relationships with both individuals and corporates – someone who thrives on strategy, storytelling, and social impact.

Corporate Partnerships

• Work with the Deputy Director and members of the Campaign Board to develop a proactive pipeline of corporate partners, focusing on strategic alignment, mutual benefit and long-term value

Donor Engagement and Stewardship

• Work with the Deputy Director and Campaign Board to identify and cultivate new HNWI prospects
• Collaborate with members of First Give’s Fundraising Campaign Board to generate and support with requests for funding to HNWI and Corporates
• Develop and implement a HNWI outreach strategy, including managing a cultivation pipeline and tracking engagement milestones

Role Overview: 

As Charity Manager, you'll lead and guide All Ways Network (AWN) to achieve its charitable goals. This role involves working closely with the Board of Trustees to drive the charity’s strategic plans, manage operations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal part in scaling the organisation and overseeing its day-to-day functions, while fostering a supportive and productive environment for staff.

As we embark on an exciting 5-year strategy we are looking to recruit an experienced Individual Giving Manager to focus on the delivery of repeat giving. Developing our weekly lottery, raffles and regular giving products and the sustainable income they provide.

This will be a crucial role within the team and playing the lead role in promoting these forms of giving to a wide external audience. Ensuring that we increase our reach across all areas of our communities through all forms of communications and engagement. We’re looking for someone with solid, hands-on experience in NGO safety and security—someone who knows the field, understands the challenges, and wants to make a difference. You’ll be a confident relationship-builder, comfortable navigating both the NGO and commercial worlds, and keen to turn research into real-world tools.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead technical development: Create, update, and promote GISF’s technical guides and tools—making sure they’re relevant, practical, and genuinely useful for NGOs of all sizes.
  • Provide expert input into GISF’s research projects, ensuring technical accuracy and real-world applicability.
     
• Deliver training and workshops: Design and run training sessions for a wide range of participants, from INGO Security Directors to national NGO focal points.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

This is an opportunity to join the Gaia Centre as a Deputy Service Manager. 

The Deputy Service Manager will manage a team and carry a very small caseload of complex cases when necessary. The post will work closely with victims and survivors of different strands of strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), including domestic abuse and violence (physical, sexual, emotional,  psychological, economic or tech abuse)​​, Sexual Violence (Rape and sexual assault​)​, Stalking and harassment ​, Sexual exploitation ​​(including women working in sex industry and Child Sexual Exploitation)​​, female genital mutilation (FGM)​/cutting , forced marriage​​, So-called ‘honour’-based abuse, provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for survivors of all genders, aged 16 years and over and their children, living, working or/and studying in Lambeth at times from the point of crisis. 

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multiagency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. Additionally, you will be working with survivors and agencies across Lambeth so will require significant travelling. 

The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, thus enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The post holder will inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety. 

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
