We’re looking for a part-time Trusts Fundraising Officer to contribute their skills, experience, and personality to add value to our Trusts team within the Fundraising department at Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.
This home-based role is now available due to the current post holder moving on to new pastures. The Trust team has had incredible success in recent years, which we are eager to sustain and grow. The successful candidate will provide support to the Trusts Fundraising Manager and work alongside a fellow part-time Trusts Fundraising Officer within this ambitious team.
The role is a varied one, focusing on all aspects of the funding cycle – from identifying opportunities and building relationships, to writing compelling applications and providing high level stewardship. The team works collaboratively across the Association to ensure Blesma’s programmes and services can continue to help limbless veterans and their families.
Blesma is unique as a membership Association as well as a charity. Our Members are the heart of all our work – therefore, the impact of our fundraising is clearly visible in the experiences of our inspirational limbless veterans.

Prospectus is recruiting for a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer for a UK-based charity that provides free, confidential support to people who are grieving after the death of someone close to them.
This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis with a salary of £32,000 per annum. This is a remote role with occasional travel.
The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer will be responsible for proactively securing and growing income from a large portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, working collaboratively with funders and teams across the organisation to develop and submit compelling proposals. The postholder will ensure high quality applications focused on an agreed range of cases for support, funder reporting, and prospect research.
They are looking for someone with significant experience in successfully securing income from trusts and foundations including demonstrable experience of securing four and five figure grants. You will be experienced in managing a large portfolio of funders, with a high level of autonomy.

A great opportunity has risen for a Trusts + Statutory Senior Officer to support our ambitious strategy by using your relationship-building skills to nurture and develop a strong pipeline of mid-value Trusts prospects (with capacity to make donations of approx. £10-50k), made up of both warm funders and cold prospects.

Tenacious and proactive, you will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of prospects, with a focus on 5-figure gifts. You will ensure our existing supporters receive a first-class stewardship experience, while identifying and building relationships with new prospects across the full range of A+LUK projects. You will have the opportunity to support on the development and submission of large 6-figure applications, as well as supporting on the delivery of the small trusts programme.
You will be a confident communicator, able to build relationships both internally and externally. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment, and enjoy the challenge of generating new leads. Creative and with a keen eye for detail, you will have experience of matching funder interests with key organisational priorities in both written and verbal communications.
