About this role: This is an exciting opportunity to join Rotherham United Community Trust’s Executive Team and lead the ‘Strengthen and Grow’ theme within the Trust’s United for Change strategy. The Director of Development will drive sustainable growth by strengthening programmes, increasing income, developing strategic partnerships and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. You will work closely with the CEO, Board and senior leaders to maximise the Trust’s impact while ensuring operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Programmes and Interventions

• Support department leads and ensure effective delivery of national/regional and local programmes.
• Oversee programme monitoring and evaluation systems.

2. Income Generation

• Develop a business plan with KPIs for year-on-year income growth.
• Innovate and refine fundraising approaches (donors, foundations, corporates, digital).
• Design and market income-generating products/programmes.
• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing partners including businesses and charities.

3. Operational Management

• Manage financial and physical resources, including budgeting.
• Deliver services that generate income.
• Report to the Trust Board and attend and present at Board/sub-committee meetings.

As our Fundraising & Events Coordinator, you will play an important role in helping to deliver the Association’s fundraising ambitions.

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

• Support the delivery of the Association’s fundraising strategy and annual fundraising plan.

About the Role   

As our Financial Controller, you'll lead the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and efficient processes that support our mission. You'll oversee month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, providing clear insights to inform decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues throughout the charity, you'll manage grant and restricted fund reporting, support annual planning, drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes, and lead a small finance team. You'll also play a key role in ensuring compliance with charity accounting standards, governance requirements and best practice.

About you 

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA ,CIPFA or similar) with at least five years' post-qualification experience and a proven track record in senior finance or audit roles. You'll be confident leading finance operations, managing staff, and turning complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.

You'll bring experience of charity finance, including grant management, restricted and unrestricted funds, and Charity SORP, alongside strong skills in Xero and Excel. Experience with Fathom and Raiser's Edge (or similar CRM/database systems) would be an advantage.

We are a local, independent charity based on the Wirral, supporting people living with dementia, their carers, and former carers by providing community-based activities and day trips. About the role
As our Fundraiser, you will help us develop and deliver a practical fundraising plan to support the charity’s continued growth. Role Overview

Starlight has a long and successful track record of delivering high-profile, high-value special events, including the prestigious Blenheim Ball, Newbury Race Day, and until recently, the Highclere Clay Pigeon Shoot. These events are supported by influential committees and have played a critical role in raising income, stewarding donors and connecting supporters with our purpose.

With a gap in our Philanthropy team and maternity cover needed until around May next year, this 9-month fixed-term role exists to lead, develop and deliver Starlight’s flagship events at a senior level. Immediate responsibilities are for the Starlight Health Play Awards a key stewardship event in October; and the development of a Royal Palace Event to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Starlight likely to be in November. The successful candidate will develop and deliver the grants fundraising strategy, build a strong pipeline of opportunities and cultivate high-value funder relationships, with a focus on six-figure and multi-year partnerships. They will lead compelling funding applications, oversee grant compliance and reporting, monitor income targets and forecasts and line manage the Senior Fundraising Coordinator.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an ambitious, motivated fundraiser who is driven by GoodWork's mission and ready to take ownership of a varied and impactful role. For this role, we’re looking for someone with at least a year's experience in a charity fundraising team, with exposure to trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, high net worth, or community fundraising.

Head of Development | The Line

As The Line enters its next chapter following its tenth anniversary, we're seeking an ambitious and strategic fundraising leader to help secure our long-term financial sustainability. This is a rare opportunity to shape fundraising for one of London's most distinctive cultural organisations.

The Line is East London's public art trail that connects Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian. Our mission is to connect communities and inspire individuals through a dynamic outdoor exhibition programme where everyone can explore art, nature and heritage for free.

Locally rooted and internationally significant, The Line enables artists to connect with people and place in new ways. Recent installations include works by pioneering minimalist sculptor Rasheed Araeen, the first public artwork in the UK by artist Zineb Sedira, and a co-commission with the local community by Turner Prize-winning artist Helen Cammock.

The role

This role is suited to an experienced fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant income, including six-figure gifts, within the charitable sector. Working closely with the Director and Board, the Head of Development will lead fundraising strategy, strengthen supporter relationships, and diversify income streams to support The Line's future growth and impact.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, you'll secure income from trusts and foundations, individual donors, corporate partners and other sources; build and manage relationships with funders and supporters; identify new opportunities for growth; and ensure excellent stewardship across all fundraising activities. You'll also line manage the Development Coordinator and oversee freelance fundraising support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and implementing The Line's fundraising strategy, delivering against agreed income targets and diversifying revenue streams
• Developing a robust pipeline of trusts, foundations, corporate partners and individual donors
• Translating organisational priorities into compelling funding proposals, cases for support and reports
• Building and stewarding relationships with funders, donors, patrons and corporate partners
• Setting and managing income targets, budgets and forecasts with the Director and Director of Finance

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced fundraiser with proven success in generating significant income within the charitable sector, ideally in arts and culture. You'll have:

• Demonstrable experience securing six-figure funding through trusts and foundations, individual giving, public funding and corporate partnerships
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong understanding of the UK cultural funding landscape and fundraising best practice
• Experience using CRM systems and managing supporter data
• Financial literacy, with experience developing budgets and funding bids
• Commercial awareness and experience negotiating partnership agreements
• Knowledge of GDPR, fundraising regulation and compliance requirements
• Ability to motivate colleagues and drive results

Desirable: senior management experience, established fundraising networks and sector relationships, knowledge of tax-efficient giving, and experience managing donor programmes internationally.

We are seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to guide a respected charity supporting people with life-limiting conditions, their families, carers and those affected by bereavement.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established and highly regarded charity that provides practical and emotional support to people living with life-limiting conditions, alongside their families, carers and those experiencing grief and bereavement.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Charity Director will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the organisation remains sustainable, effective and responsive to the needs of those it serves. You will lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, oversee service delivery, drive fundraising and income generation, and act as an ambassador for the charity across communities and stakeholder networks.

Community Foundations for Lancashire and Merseyside is a long established Liverpool based charity, that is part of a UK wide network of Foundations, who each offer expertise in their region to deliver funding and support to the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established finance team, you will be helping to deliver millions of pounds of grants to charities and community groups that provide critical and specialist support to the most vulnerable people across Lanchashire and Merseyside. 

Additionally you will be responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger and will support the Finance Director on a day to day basis, maintaining finance records with a very high degree of accuracy. Whilst your role has a strong emphasis on payments, you may be required to support the team in dealing with recording income too. 

To succeed in this role you need to be thorough with a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in community affairs and being excited by the work we do. Being familiar with Sage 50 and Salesforce is an advantage but not essential.

This is a part time role, 14 hours per week, which is office based, in the centre of Liverpool's commercial district.

Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. Foxglove works to bring the rule of law to the tech and AI giants who have upended our public square, workplaces, and social lives. We have a strong track record. We’ve launched landmark cases seeking structural changes to big tech’s harmful business models, supported 180+ Facebook content moderators fired for trying to form a union to sue Facebook. We’ve supported tech workers and their unions to file cases challenging union busting at Google, Amazon and TikTok. We urged state regulators worldwide to stop Google’s theft of independent news. We won the UK’s first legal challenge to a data centre permission decision and filed the first such case in South Africa. The role

This is a fixed-term parental leave cover post for 1 year. The post holder will step into the co-Executive Director role with co-responsibility for Foxglove's strategy, impact, advocacy, operations, fundraising and public facing work. The post holder will work very closely with Foxglove’s other co-Executive Director and will make all sizable decisions about Foxglove together. UK and international travel (approx. 20%) is required.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategy, Leadership and Impact

1.Serve as a member of Foxglove's leadership team, helping to set direction across the organisation.

2.Work closely with the co-Executive Director and Director of Advocacy to align Foxglove's legal, advocacy and operations work.

3.Represent Foxglove externally: to the press, at events, with funders (trusts, foundations & individual donors), members of parliament and with policymakers and allies.

4.Help ensure communities', workers' and affected individuals' voices are at the centre of all of Foxglove's work.

5.Champion a culture of impact, monitoring and evaluation across the organisation, ensuring Foxglove can clearly demonstrate the change it is achieving internally and externally.

Advocacy and Campaigns

1.Oversee the work of Foxglove's advocacy team (led by our Director of Advocacy) and shape our overall approach to campaigning across digital, media and grassroots channels.

2.Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of allies – civil society organisations, unions, policymakers, regulators, journalists, academics, and international partners – to strengthen Foxglove's reach and influence.

3.Spot and pursue new opportunities for campaigns, litigation, coalition-building and advocacy, keeping Foxglove responsive to a fast-changing tech and policy landscape.

4.Act as a public voice for Foxglove's work – engaging with the press, media and public platforms as required to advance our work.

Operations and Organisational Management

Person Specification

Essential

• A strong interest in tech justice and Foxglove's mission.
• Significant (5+ years) experience at CEO level.
• Experience managing and motivating a team, with a track record of supporting people to do their best work.
• A brilliant fundraising track record and experience in financial management. 
• Excellent communication skills – you can write persuasively, clearly and concisely, hold a press conference, and brief a politician, all in the same day.
• Strong political judgement and an ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Experience in organisational management or operations, including oversight of budgets and financial processes.
• A self-starter who is able to work independently and take initiative, while contributing generously to a shared team goal.

Length and Salary

This is a fixed-term parental leave cover contract of 12 months. The annual salary is £98,800 per annum pro rata less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. Please note our pay is transparent and non-negotiable.

Our team works remotely; this role must be based in the UK, ideally London. Our team travels every two months for team days and annually for team retreats.
