As the Trusts and Foundations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income through grant applications to fuel our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. You'll be the driving force behind building strong relationships with grant-giving bodies, family foundations, and corporate supporters, crafting compelling proposals that secure vital funding.

Previous grant writing experience is not essential, but the successful candidate will have well honed writing skills and the ability to pitch proposals to a variety of audiences.

The Income Generation and Communications department is a small team, working flexibly to support the charity’s frontline services. From time to time, you will need to represent the charity at events, support bids for contracts, and meet potential corporate and individual supporters. This will mean occasionally working evenings, weekends or on your non-working days. We’ll give you notice of when this is required and you’ll be able to claim your time back.

This role can be office based or predominantly remote to suit you (albeit there will be times when you need to be in Billericay or elsewhere in Essex). We’re open to negotiating the working pattern with the successful candidate, to be as flexible as possible.

• Full driving license. Able to drive Hamelin vehicles as well as use of own car

Key Information:

• Salary: £33,500 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

Normal office hours are Monday – Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm but working flexibly across evenings and weekends is sometimes required. • Proven ability to personally manage a successful trust and foundation portfolio raising funds from existing and new supporters (£500k+).
• Confidence in representing WaterAid externally at events, conferences and developing co-creation opportunities.

The LSO Development department is looking for a knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to join our team as Trusts & Foundations Officer at an exciting time in the LSO’s history. Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, the role will primarily work within the Trusts and Foundations team to establish and maintain relationships with grant-giving bodies to help meet and grow income targets. About you

We are seeking a highly experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraising consultant to spearhead the Trusts programme at Dreams Come True. As an excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder, you will have a proven track record of successful fundraising in this area: ideally securing between 6 and 7-figure gifts.

Harris Hill are thrilled to be partnering up with a brilliant social welfare charity in their search for their new Trusts and Foundations Manager.

As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will advise, develop and implement a strategy to secure income, and build a sustainable income stream, from charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory bodies as part of the overall fundraising strategy. You will proactively prospect research to identify potential charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory bodies funding streams with a view to securing restricted and unrestricted income for core activity and for new programmes of work. You will lead on the preparation of funding bids, planning and managing the process, working with the Director of Communications and Fundraising and/or the Head of Fundraising as appropriate. You will also be responsible for the account management of trust, lottery and statutory grants; ensuring that reporting is on-time, compliant with grant terms and conditions, professional and of high quality.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Proven experience of writing successful and compelling proposals and applications to Trusts and Foundations and securing multi year funding
• Experience of working across an organisation to develop fundraising bids and reports
• Ability to undertake high quality research to identify potential trusts and foundation prospects
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; confident and personable with the ability to manage and build strong relationships with key individual donors and organisations.

The Trusts and Foundations Manager will further develop and review their current trusts and foundations strategy, with a focus on growing and renewing five- and six-figure income from Trusts, Foundations and grant making bodies. This is an ideal role for an experienced and collaborative Trust fundraiser, capable of developing long-lasting relationships and build compelling cases for support that secure transformational donations for an iconic institution.
