HR Officer (Fixed Term Contract – up to 12 months)

Location: London
Salary: £30k - £35k per annum (DOE)
Contract: Fixed Term – up to 12 months
Hours: Part-time 3 days a week

The Role

We’re partnering with a respected organisation to recruit an experienced HR Officer on a fixed-term contract of up to 12 months. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to provide proactive, high-quality support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR systems, and wellbeing.

Working closely with the HR Director, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and an excellent employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update HR systems and staff records.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate payroll data, benefits, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist with policies, compliance, and HR reporting.
  • Provide general HR administrative and project support.

About You

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident using HR systems (e.g. BreatheHR) and MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Available to start promptly and commit for up to 12 months.
