About the Migrant Futures Institute
The Migrant Futures Institute (MFI) is being established at Goldsmiths in 2025 thanks to a major philanthropic commitment by Oak Foundation in academic year 2024-25.
The MFI is set to be a beacon of rigorous research, innovative policy solutions, and creative approaches to understanding and reshaping migration discourse. Through collaborative research and creative practice, the MFI engages directly with migrant organisations and communities, working with them to generate new knowledge, cultivate understanding, and support their well-being, creative and work aspirations.
About the Role
Building on an 8-figure philanthropic commitment made by Oak Foundation, the Development Manager will play a key role in securing the long-term viability and success of the Migrant Futures Institute. Working with the Director of Development and Alumni Relations and the MFI Director, the post holder will ensure that fundraising is an embedded strategic priority. They will develop and deliver outcome-led fundraising strategies that work within the broader University fundraising and communications environment and achieve philanthropic fundraising targets.
About the Candidate
You will demonstrate your ability to make things happen, to manage and move relationships forward, to communicate inspiring messages and build warm relationships that deliver support for the Migrant Futures Institute at Goldsmiths. Your dynamic and proactive approach will be combined with a track record of delivering successful fundraising campaigns and experience of building partnerships and delivering support, ideally in an academic context, but transferrable skills from candidates looking to move into the sector are also welcomed. Understanding of and insight into the discourses, civic and academic organisations and issues related to migration in society would also be advantageous.

This position is part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) funded by Innovate UK, aimed at driving impactful collaboration between academic expertise and industry. This 2-year KTP project reflects Reall’s ongoing investment in academic collaboration and commercial development. It will use the development of specialist gender- and climate-focussed knowledge to support Reall’s shift from reliance on a single funding source to a more diverse income model, including expansion of Reall’s consultancy services. The Associate will play a crucial role in this transformation by working with Reall and University of Warwick staff to:

Lead the integration of gender and climate innovations and best practices into Reall’s housing work.

Lead the development of frameworks to evaluate gender and climate impacts.

Lead the production of thought leadership materials to enhance Reall’s commercial reach and elevate its influence and standing within the sector.

University of Warwick’s Politics and International Studies (PAIS) and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) departments will offer specialized academic support and guidance to ensure Reall remains a forward-thinking leader in affordable, sustainable housing, underpinned by world-class research. About the role

Main purpose of the job
The role exists to ensure that the Students’ Union operates as a democratic organisation and that the student voice is heard and a part of everything we do. The position will:

At Northampton Students’ Union, our Sports Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enriching the student experience through sport. By overseeing over 35 free-to-join sports clubs, they ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all students, regardless of background or ability. Their responsibilities include managing sports programming, coordinating events like Varsity and Sports Awards, and fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. By supporting student-led initiatives and promoting participation, the Sports Development Coordinator helps create a vibrant, active campus community.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Book internal and external facilities for training and fixtures. Ensure that the clubs use suitable facilities of an appropriate standard, while following SU procedures and maintaining good relationships with the facility provider.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a rolling programme of inclusive daytime events, including casual sports, entertainment, craft/hobby sessions, and intramural activities with student clubs.
- Plan and run engaging events in the Engine Shed café/bar to increase footfall and create a social campus environment.
- Build partnerships with local businesses and community groups to increase student engagement with the wider town and develop town-centre activations.
- Coach and Support our Elected Officers with their independent campaign and event work, ensuring synergy between one’s own work, and that of the elected team.
- Promote all events through digital channels and on-campus marketing.
- Complete thorough risk assessments for all events, ensuring health, safety, and accessibility are prioritised.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, feedback, and attendance to evaluate and improve impact.
- Support wider Students’ Union events and cross-team campaigns as needed.
- Support the Marketing Manager with the delivery of Open Day events and activities.

The ICPG is a network of 80+ Jewish UK-based academics. Our members are dedicated to researching and combatting antisemitism in UK higher education and improving the environment for Jewish students, academics, professionals, and other staff. We work with senior leadership and diversity and inclusion teams at UK universities. We champion academic freedom and oppose all academic boycotts of Jews and / or Israeli institutions and faculties.
The ICPG was created in 2024 in response to the sharp rise in antisemitism in UK universities since 7th October 2023. We collaborate broadly with universities and Higher Education institutions, policymakers, lawyers and other stakeholders. Where appropriate, we engage with communal organisations.
We operate across the following areas: (1) Data Collection, (2) Standards and Interventions, (3) Free Speech and Academic Freedom, (4) Universities and College Union, and (5) Stakeholder Engagement. Each area has a "working group", which are at different stages of knowledge production. The overall aim is to provide robust, evidence-based and actionable feedback to universities to assist them in understanding and combatting antisemitism within the higher education sector. Specifications
ICPG is looking to recruit an Operations Manager with responsibility for operational leadership, strategic planning and implementation and financial management of the organisation. Candidates should have an interest in challenging antisemitism within the university sector, but do not necessarily need to have previous experience in this area.
Salary: £50,000, dependent on experience
Responsibilities include:

- Work closely with the President and Board of Trustees to develop and execute the strategic and operational vision for the organisation

Barnardo's Bewick Road Service is excited to offer an opportunity for a qualified social worker to join the Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Centre at James Cook University Hospital, Teesside. This part-time role offers the chance to develop your social work skills within an established and supportive multi-disciplinary team (MDT). The position also includes flexible working options Monday to Friday (working over 3 days), with ongoing support and training provided.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have at least three years' post-qualification experience working with vulnerable children or adults, and be registered with Social Work England (or equivalent). A full UK driving licence is required.
Main Duties:
The CF social worker will provide support to children with Cystic Fibrosis, their families, and carers, focusing on the social aspects of care. The service covers a large geographical area, including Teesside, Redcar and Cleveland, and Durham, with the role based at James Cook University Hospital.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending outpatient clinic appointments, inpatient ward admissions, and conducting home visits to assess and follow up on community-based needs.
- Supporting the Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis team in addressing the emotional, social, practical, and financial needs of children and families affected by CF.
- Collaborating closely with relevant social services and healthcare professionals, in line with legislation, professional standards, and policies.
- Assisting families with welfare rights, financial matters, housing, education, and the variable impacts of living with CF.
- Helping families secure appropriate disability benefits and ensuring access to necessary support services.
