What you’ll do
As Trial Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a high-profile randomised controlled trial focused on financial support for families in the social care system. You will oversee the coordination of the project, ensuring it runs smoothly, on time, and within budget, while acting as the central point of contact between funders, delivery partners, and the research team. Your responsibilities will include managing key administrative processes, ensuring data quality, liaising with external stakeholders, and supporting junior colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative research with real-world impact on young people’s mental health and wellbeing, while gaining valuable insight into a range of research methods, large-scale trial delivery, and knowledge mobilisation to inform policy and practice.
What you’ll bring
You will have a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with significant experience in research management, alongside a strong track record of coordinating large-scale, multidisciplinary quantitative or mixed-methods research projects.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience managing, cleaning, and analysing large-scale quantitative datasets;
- Experience contributing to academic and non-academic research outputs, such as publications, conference presentations, or dissemination events;
- Ability to support and supervise junior team members effectively;
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with vulnerable groups, Local Authorities, and funders;
- You will be highly organised and collaborative, with a strong understanding of research delivery and data quality management;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both academic and non-academic audiences.

Key details
Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week)
Salary: £40,560 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Teaching Resources at Unifrog
One of the most important parts of Unifrog is a searchable library of hundreds of teaching resources, covering careers guidance, progression, SEL, and PSHE.
Each week the lessons are used by tens of thousands of teachers in the UK and around the world.
We aim for our lessons to be plug-and-play, to be truly educational, to make it easy for schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform, and to be fun even when they deal with difficult subjects. We always try to make the learning as active as possible.
In December 2023, we launched our Courses tool. Students can browse and take short online courses in a range of engaging and challenging topic areas, many of which are created in partnership with universities and employers.
We create courses that fit into five main strands:

‘Careers in…’ courses introduce students to a career sector and spotlight a few specific roles within the sector, e.g. ‘Careers in art’.

University subject tasters give students an idea of what studying a particular university subject is like, e.g. ‘The complicated reality of criminology’.

Life skills courses help students prepare for life after school/college, e.g. ‘Preparing for the workplace’.

Virtual work experience courses combine a series of work-based tasks and live webinars with an employer, e.g. ‘Virtual work experience with the BBC’.

Teacher/counselor courses help staff members in various roles get the most out of the Unifrog platform.

What we’re looking for

Essential: QTS and relevant secondary school teaching experience
You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience across at least two key stages from KS3-5.

Adept at creating exceptional teaching resources
Above all else, you need to be brilliant at creating teaching resources, and to love doing it. You will have had significant professional experience creating teaching resources, and delivering them to students.

We want you to come up with great ideas for how to teach topics to students in fun ways.

Working together
You’ll work in our existing Teaching Resources team, which consists of experienced teachers and resource creators. You’ll also be in regular contact with the Written Content team, plus people on our marketing, sales, account management, and strategy teams.
In the Teaching Resources team, we commonly brainstorm new ideas as a group, share insights from our own teaching experiences, provide feedback on other team members’ work, and get feedback from teachers and students at our partner schools.
You’ll be managed by the Head of Teaching Resources.

We are thrilled to be supporting a leading arts university, in their search for a permanent Student Data and Management Information (SDMI) Manager. The post holder will be responsible for the preparation of the University's student data statutory returns for external agencies, such as the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and Office for Students (OfS). The role holder will also provide detailed analysis of the data, and prepare the student academic timetable.
This is a full time role, starting as soon as possible, and will be based on site 3 days per week in central London, and the remainder remote.
The role holder will be considered an expert SITS user within the Student and Academic Services (SAS) department, and will be responsible for production of management information in respect of student data and the production of ad hoc reports on student data.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead the production and analysis of the university's student statistical returns to a range of external agencies
- To provide analysis and critical evaluation of data to support statutory reporting functions
- To create and regularly update management reports for the SMT
- Represent the university at SITS User Group meetings

- Comprehensive expert knowledge of Tribal SITS:Vision Student Records System, including: HESADR statutory reporting, Task Management, Batch Processes, Standard Letters (SRL)
- Previous work experience in higher education (HE) data analyst/SITS role.
