As an Online Communities Lead, you will have the autonomy to shape how the forum develops. You will take ownership of a live online service, with clear accountability for moderation standards, platform governance and overall service quality.
As an Online Communities Lead, you will make independent moderation decisions, including assessing safeguarding risks and applying proportionate escalation in complex situations. You will be comfortable holding responsibility for service-level risk, working within clear governance frameworks while acting decisively when it matters most.
You will act as product owner and primary administrator for the platform, managing configuration, permissions, workflows and continuous improvement. The Online Communities Lead will also lead and support a team of online volunteers, ensuring their wellbeing while maintaining consistent service standards.

Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital communications professional to join the Living Wage Foundation team as our Digital Communications Manager. The ideal candidate would have demonstrable digital communications skills and experience, on top of an enthusiasm for engaging supporters across our social networks, website and email communications. The candidate will be tech savvy and have experience managing social media, using a website CMS and other digital tools that will support engagement with the real Living Wage and other key areas e.g. Living Hours and a Living Pension, across multiple stakeholders. They’ll also be an effective storyteller with an understanding of how to transform stories into impactful online communications.
As part of a busy department of communications specialists spanning media, digital, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital engagement strategy through our website, social media channels and email marketing. Main Responsibilities
Working as the Digital Communications Manager, reporting to the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Social media:
Lead the team in the use of social media to increase brand awareness and impact; generate innovative approaches.
Oversee Communications Officers to monitor, manage, create and schedule content on our social media accounts, tailoring content to different channels and audiences.
Establish systems for monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators and delivering to time and budget.
Manage paid advertising strategy on social media, overseeing relationship with external agencies.

Work with developers to maintain and update website CMS alongside Operations team, support the team in creating news and blog content and help upskill colleagues to create content for the website.

These service lines have been built at different times by different people and sit quite separately. Today we have a clear view of our target client, a new set of models for how we partner with churches and so we want to architect now are the customer journeys and experiences that draw these threads together.

This role of Head of Customer Experience (CX) and Service Innovation reports to the Chief Agility Officer, and is the chief service architect of the CAP church-based movement’s ecosystem. This role will lead our transition towards a modular suite of services, ensuring every interaction across our audiences are seamless, dignifying and high-impact. Embedded Insight: Work with the Head of Impact to bake measurement frameworks into service design. Ensure that impact data is a real-time byproduct of the service, not an additional task for the church.

We are looking for an Information Officer to join our busy and supportive team at an exciting time of rapid change in cystic fibrosis and the information landscape. Changes in clinical care, treatments and the experiences and needs of people with CF have led to a dramatic increase in the breadth and volume of information we need to create, at a time when trusted information is more important than ever.
To navigate this, you’ll need solid editorial expertise and a commitment to engaging with and empowering the cystic fibrosis community through the development of high quality, engaging, accessible information, in print and digital formats.
You will develop and maintain our extensive offer of health and other information, including factsheets, booklets, clinical guidelines, web content and videos aimed at people affected by cystic fibrosis and clinical teams. You will make sure that our resources meet the needs of our target audiences through sensitive and meaningful involvement with people with CF and healthcare professionals.
You will have experience of producing high quality, comprehensive information for people with health conditions from concept through to publication and a knack for making complex health information easy to understand. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the creation and continuous improvement of our health information at every stage of the user journey. You’ll design content that’s data driven and responsive to user needs. You’ll work across a range of formats and channels to help us maximise our reach and engagement with the blood cancer community.
You’ll collaborate with users and clinical experts to ensure our information is accurate, relevant, evidence-based and accessible. You’ll use your content design skills to help anyone affected by blood cancer access the information they need.

Overview of Role:
The CRM and Systems Lead plays a key role in supporting Church Army’s adoption and effective use of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The postholder will take day-to-day ownership of the CRM, acting as the ‘go-to’ expert for users, maintaining high-quality supporter data, and ensuring data is managed in line with best practice and data protection principles. They will support and train colleagues, building engagement and buy-in to the system, and embedding effective, consistent use across teams. They will also maximise the potential of Dynamics 365 and the accompanying digital marketing platform, Customer Insights, to create accurate supporter segments for effective mail and email campaigns.
Salary: £37,924 per annum (FTE, pro-rata for a part-time role)
Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week (0.8-1 FTE)
Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time.) Some days are compulsory leave over Christmas when the office is closed.
