As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food.
You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. You will continually be looking to increase our impact by working towards targets of increased meals served to our guests, expanding our existing Projects and setting up new ones within Yorkshire and The Humber.
As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.
You will have experience of programme planning, delivery and development including community led/owned programmes. You will also have experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders, including other charities, local authorities, funders and local champions. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.

Across all our programmes, professional communication, branding of EAP and stakeholder (new) engagement and management is key. Programme delivery is rarely linear so you must be comfortable in rapidly evolving and dynamic environments.

The F2F (Face-to-Face) Membership Team is responsible for bringing in the majority of our new members, and our contribution needs to grow too. What's the role about?

In collaboration with F2F Membership Operations Managers, Membership Venues Managers and F2F Area Managers ensure venue capacity matches operational requirements so that teams have the right opportunities available and that targets can be met.
Working with counterparts and the General Manager and F2F Membership Business Development Manager, implement strategic business initiatives and changes required for the organisation in order to adapt to changes in the operating environment (market place), and ensure smooth transition of new projects (including growth) into business as usual delivery.
Working with peers across F&C and UK Countries, share and implement tools and processes that will gain alignment and reduce duplication, to deliver the best business outcome and return on investment (RoI) for income generation.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Understanding a sales team (motivation and capabilities).
- Understanding team dynamics and what it takes to lead a team successfully - recognising competence and commitment as drivers for success.
- Proven skills in leadership and management of a successful sales or income-generating team.

Can you make sure that kinship carers in England receive high quality, user centred training online and in person?
About the role
We have been awarded the Department for Education contract to deliver high quality training to kinship carers across England. You will be responsible for delivering high quality online and face-to-face training and managing a team of inhouse facilitators and external partners.
This is a new team so you will need to be someone who is comfortable with a high level of ambiguity and who is able to build outcome and target driven services from a user centred approach. We have a lot to do over the next 18 months.
From April 2024 to March 2025, your team will need to deliver exceptional training to 4,000 kinship carers in England through in person and online sessions. These are divided into introductory and advanced training. We will be delivering at least 16 roadshows across England so travel will be required in this role. In person training will also involve experiential learning in peer support groups and community venues. Introductory training will be delivered in-house.
You will also work with external expert facilitators and partners to develop new advanced training sessions and modules. Subject experts within Kinship, will also deliver training and you will need to ensure content and delivery meets a consistent standard.
The right person will need to work collaboratively with colleagues across Kinship and be used to working in cross-functional teams. You’ll need to be curious, detail orientated with an improvement mindset.

The Role

Skylarks charity is seeking a SENIOR SEND EDUCATION ADVISER who will be part of a small enthusiastic and growing team supporting children with additional needs and their families. This post will complement our existing services and grow our organisational capacity.
Since launching in April 2020, The SEND Advice Service has supported over 1000 families who need legally-based advice in relation to the education needs of their child or young person with SEND. We are adapting to meet demand. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a rewarding role and gain a strong sense of achievement.
As the Senior Send Education Adviser, you will provide high-quality information, advice and support to children and young people with SEND aged 0-25 years and their parents and carers in line with the SEN Code of Practice and associated legal framework. You will answer queries from the public and provide support in a range of areas relating to SEND education. Most of our queries are in relation to Education, Health and Care plans (EHCPs)
You will manage a small team and oversee the caseload. Your line manager will provide support, guidance and additional training opportunities.
No two days are the same and this is an interesting and varied role that would suit someone who has a good working knowledge of SEN Legislation and the statutory guidance. You will have relevant experience providing support and giving legally-based advice to people seeking help in relation to EHCPs, SEND education and associated matters.
Ideally, the candidate would have completed all of the IPSEA SEN Law training levels 1-3.
The majority of the service is delivered via phone or via video call appointments across the working week during office hours. We also provide weekly in-person meetings which take place at our centre in Twickenham or occasional outreach centres, including our new centre in Hounslow opening next spring. The role will also involve providing training for parent-carers via F2F workshops and webinars.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will provide operational support to Tempo’s networks as required working closely with the Contract Manager. This entails close liaison with clients, account management of community organisations and local business partners, dealing efficiently and politely with queries, requests and issues as they arise and triaging to another team member where appropriate.
You are proactive and passionate about communities and about creating positive, lasting change that builds on the skills and assets of all. You will be a natural communicator, able to mobilise and enthuse partners to join our national network of organisations seeking to make a lasting impact for individuals and communities. You will be well organised and comfortable working with a CRM, able to cultivate and manage a range of relationships across different sectors. You will be able to support organisations seeking to use Time Credits to effect organisational and social change.
Working alongside Tempo central support function you will design and run network and training events to ensure that Time Credits provide opportunities for people to both receive them in recognition of their time and encouragement for them to use Time Credits. You will manage relationships with our customers, ensuring that targets are met, and our impact is demonstrated. We are looking for someone who can travel into London regularly.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to contract managers and programmes, including:
• Community development and mapping support as appropriate
• Administration & reporting
• Quarterly monitoring collection - support reporting as required
• Account management planning and activities for groups and services
• Managing pipelines
• Local social media and newsletters
• Attend key local meetings, events and conferences
• Sign up of local Recognition Partners and opportunities that supports the programme priorities
• Deliver local activities and training directly or through others to support the delivery of the local capability and capacity building plan
• Support organisations face to face providing advice and guidance on developing earn and spend opportunities for Time Credits
• Be creative in your approach to support large networks of groups across different geographical areas to maximise your time and ensure efficiencies
• Manage a team of local volunteers in each locality that provide on the ground support and add capacity in the local community
• Working with groups/organisations to overcome obstacles to implementing Time Credits
• Troubleshoot any concerns or issues identified by recognition partners
• Proactively support the network to develop and become sustainable through local events, trips and networking meetings
• Support innovation, learning & development across the network and within Tempo
• Evaluation coordination
• Locate and provide appropriate resources/assets
• Writing and sending agendas, minutes, etc.

Brand Management /Visual design

Implementing the CTA brand guidelines and applying it in all external comms, including supporting staff to produce creative content

Use Canva to produce compelling and engaging visual designs/comms assets that align with CTA’s brand personality to support content engagement.

Track and analyse the performance of marketing and digital media campaigns and events using relevant metrics and optimise content accordingly

Management of External Communication Channels

Responsibility for CTA’s primary channels of communication, both online and offline ensuring that they are consistently articulating the role and impact of CTA and promoting the wider value and impact of CT to stakeholders. This includes:

Producing and editing CTA’s membership magazine Together, CTA UK newsletter and nation specific spotlight.

Working with the Leadership team to ensure production of the magazine is cost neutral by supporting the sale of advertising space and securing sponsorship.

Planning, writing, coordinating and editing content for CTA’s Blogs, email marketing and other forms of content.

Working with the directorates to ensure that stakeholders including Department for Transport and other key Government departments are engaged and involved in sharing communication with the CT sector.
Events
-
With support from the Leadership Group, plan and develop a yearly calendar of events.

Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and event materials.

Contributing to a communications plan for events (where appropriate), including use of the organisation’s social media profiles and website.

Implement the marketing and communications strategy for CTA UK events and take a leading role in planning and executing UK-wide events.

Track agreed budgets for each event ensuring value for money and adherence to financial processes.

Ensure the CRM system is used efficiently in the execution of events.

Membership Engagement
