About the role
At Streatham Youth and Community Trust, our vision is that all children and young people living and going to school in Streatham reach their full potential, should have a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.
We are looking for a committed and collaborative senior leader to help us improve and expand our service offer at our Streatham Vale Park and Wellfield Road sites.
The succesfull candidate will be a proactive and confident leader, with strong community engagement skills and a track record of delivering high quality after school and holiday provision for children and young people. In addition to our afterschool and holiday provision, you will also be responsible for our stay and play services and our sports-focussed youth work at Streatham Vale Park and our employability services at Wellfield Road.
The role is a great opportunity to join the senior leadership team of a well-established local youth charity and help us to shape and grow our service offer to meet the changing needs of the local community.

We’re an award-winning charity that runs local learning centres in the heart of communities where the young people we support live. We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term, maternity cover role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Brixton. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

Contract:
Full-time, fixed-term until April 2025

Working Hours:
Monday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
Tuesday: 9am – 5:30pm
Wednesday: 9am – 5:30pm
Thursday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9am – 5:30pm
(Some additional weekend &
unsocial hours will be required)
Salary:
£36,000 per annum (inclusive of £2,200 London contribution). This will rise to £38,100 (inclusive of £2,600 London contribution) from 1st September 2024.

The post holder will be at the heart of managing, shaping, and developing SCT’s services, including all aspects of our Therapeutic Programmes, Supported Housing Team, Training and Development, Housing First provision, and emerging women’s and community-based services.
Salary: £40,777 - £48,984

Operations Director & Community Minister – Oasis Hub Waterloo

Permanent, full-time post, 40 hours per week, inclusive of breaks
Salary: £44,320 per annum (Including London Weighting)
Oasis exists to create healthy thriving communities and reduce exclusion, through a holistic and Christ-centred approach to community development and social innovation. Our work is centred in local communities where we provide education; youth, children and families work; and community services.
We have an exciting opportunity to join Oasis Hub Waterloo, adding strategic leadership capacity to the Hub and holding the vision of Christ-centred community development, together with the Executive Director & Senior Minister.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic leader to work with the present Executive Director & Senior Minister on the leadership of Oasis Church Waterloo, on HR, team development and leadership, and on the Hub budget/finance strategy.
Alongside the Executive Director & Senior Minister, they will also have a focus on developing Oasis Church Waterloo, including developing and leading church services, nurturing discipleship, pastoral care, involving children and young people, and bringing creativity to our church activities. They will also have great interpersonal skills, be passionate about creating opportunity, will be entrepreneurial, innovative, and fully committed to the ethos, values and aims of Oasis.

The successful post holder must have:
· Experience of leading community delivery.
· Experience of working for/being on the leadership team of a church.
· Experience of growing projects from the initial start-up phase through to maturity.
· Ability to act strategically and to be involved in direct delivery.
· Recent experience of working with young people and communities.
· Experience of strategic management within a school, statutory, voluntary or commercial organisation.
