You will be responsible for the implementation and day to day project management of the individual giving programme across our existing and new fundraising products, including our regular giving F2F activity, tribute funds and appeals programme.  As part of a small individual giving team you will be working under the direction and authorisation of the Head of Individual Giving.

The Individual Giving team is responsible for income generation from individual supporters and members, using a range of direct marketing techniques via both online and offline channels. This is an exciting time of growth and opportunity for Mothers’ Union and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to take on this challenge and join our successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of Mothers’ Union’s fundraising strategy as defined by the annual Individual Giving fundraising budget and plan.
• To maintain professional standards whilst representing Mothers’ Union, ensuring both the reputation of the charity and adherence to our fundraising standards are maintained.
• To ensure good communication with F2F agencies, internal team members and the public by making sure that external communication channels are kept up to date.
• To be the primary point of contact for all supporter enquiries and complaints related to face to face fundraising.
• Managing and inspiring members and volunteers to support fundraising activities.
• To be proactive in keeping up to date with industry trends and changes.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

We will offer a salary of between £29,000 and £34,000 depending on experience for a 36-hour week. Ideally you will be a full-time employee but we are happy to consider a part-time contract (min 0.8 FTE). This post will be offered as a permanent contract.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an Health Advocate Educator supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. 

The Health Advocate Educator will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about domestic violence and abuse (DVA), provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for female, male and non-binary survivors of domestic violence and abuse, aged 16 years and over and their children.

The post holder will work in partnership with the local ICB and the service manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area.The post-holder will work within a defined locality, either Stratford-upon-Avon District; North Warwickshire and Nuneaton and Bedworth, or Warwick District and Rugby borough; building links with health professionals and support agencies.  

Travel around Warwickshire for client appointments essential to role, therefore use of a car essential.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

· Support the team in identifying funders and income generation opportunities

Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential as is the ability to generate income from a range of sources.

Responsibilities/ Role

• Support and develop relationships across the community income stream from new and existing partners with a plan to maintain and grow income in subsequent years in line with our fundraising strategy.
• Undertake research into potential new campaigns and advances in community fundraising.
• Grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing audiences and fundraising opportunities, ensuring to always maintain the highest quality supporter journey.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Refuge as a domestic abuse refuge worker, providing high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our refuge accommodation in Warwickshire.

The post holder will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis and admission to the refuge, through to move on from the emergency accommodation. This involves providing a personalised, holistic support and safety plan, enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.

About the role

As a Foundation we are committed to learning together with others and reflecting and acting on what we learn. We learn to improve our understanding about how to approach the complex issues we are trying to address, to examine how our funding relates to the social change we want to see, and to improve how we work and fund.

The Learning & Insight Officer will play a key part in delivering our learning, monitoring and research activities, and we want the successful candidate to be able to develop their skills and interest within the role. They will work closely with the Head of Learning & Insight, wider Grants team colleagues and others across the Foundation to gather insights from our grants and wider work. These insights will inform our strategic direction and contribute to wider sector learning and understanding.

• Work with colleagues to run internal sessions with staff and trustees to reflect on our processes (what is working well, less well and what we can improve about how we work) and understand the progress the LEF is making towards its strategic objectives.

• Work with colleagues to run online and in-person events to bring together the organisations and people we fund to reflect and learn from one another.

• Support the development of a ‘culture of learning’ within the LEF and with grantees and 

• Work with the Head of Learning & Insight to commission and manage external contractors for particular pieces of work (for example, research briefs or learning partnerships).

• Provide administrative support on tasks, such as scheduling meetings.

Job Description

Catch22 is looking for a compassionate leader to join our growing Greater Manchester Victim Services as Deputy Head of Service. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the effective delivery of support for victims and witnesses as you help them on their journey to recovery.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you’ll provide line management to team leaders and administrators, implement systems for quality service delivery, and manage recruitment, training and supervision. You’ll work closely with police and other criminal justice partners to maintain strong referral pathways and ensure our services remain seamless and effective in its support for those that have experienced crime in the Greater Manchester area.

You will also contribute to strategic service development, quality assurance, safeguarding, and continuous improvement across the team. Your leadership will drive a culture of collaboration, learning and excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal post-holder will have:

A strong educational background, including English and Maths at GCSE level.

Proven experience managing and supporting teams in high-impact environments.

A track record of working with vulnerable individuals in multi-agency settings.

Confidence in performance management, risk assessment, and safeguarding practices.

Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.

A recognised management qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Knowledge of the victim and witness support system and a good understanding of the criminal justice landscape are highly desirable.

Location: You will spend a minimum of 1-2 days per week in GMP HQ, Newton Heath. The remainder of your time will be split between remote working and supporting victims in the community.

Interview process: Group interviews are taking place on the 29th of May. Those successful will be invited to a 1-1 panel interview taking place on the morning of 3rd of June.

Shift patterns:

Hours and days worked will change week-by-week on a rota basis. The work pattern will vary but start and end times of the day will be consistent across the week.

Every 4 week term will include one working Saturday (with a non-working week day during that week) and one Sunday on call.

Shift start times and end time will be between 0800-1800 and be a 7.5 hour work day.

· We support ill or injured men and women to have a safe place to call home, a home that meets their specific needs.

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across South and Central Scotland but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.

The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community.  Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.

This is a community-based position working from home but covering South and Central Scotland, delivering both remote and face to face support.  The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions.  Occasional travel to Edinburgh and London will be required.  The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

About the role

This is an pivotal time to join us as we continue to roll out support services for people with incurable breast cancer.

This role leads on the further development of Breast Cancer Now’s secondary breast cancer services across the UK and online, building on the success of recent growth and exploring new opportunities. As a member of the services leadership team, you’ll make a full contribution to the leadership, strategic planning and development of Breast Cancer Now’s support services, working collaboratively with other heads and managers across the organisation.
