Job description

Key Learnings

  • Learn how to research and identify relevant funding opportunities, including grants, sponsors, and donor programmes aligned with youth or community-led initiatives.
  • Gain experience in drafting grant applications, funding proposals, and impact reports that effectively communicate organisational goals and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of outreach and donor engagement strategies, including planning and launching community fundraising campaigns (e.g. events, merchandise, and digital giving).
  • Build skills in partnership development by helping to initiate and manage relationships with funders, CSR teams, and other potential collaborators.
  • Practice writing professional outreach emails and managing follow-ups to sustain engagement and interest.
  • Support impact storytelling through the use of data, case studies, and multimedia content in pitch decks and campaign materials using tools like Canva or Google Slides.
  • Develop familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Zoho), learning to log leads, update engagement statuses, and track ongoing conversations.
