Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder. 

At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.

One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly. 

As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.

THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. We are looking for a passionate fundraiser who can take ownership of our community fundraising and empower our members and supporters in their fundraising ventures. You’ll act as the face of THS for people looking to raise money in a variety of wonderful ways – ensuring they have what they need to be as successful as possible. This will include managing a number of key events such as the London Marathon, Ride London and Swim Serpentine. 

This role would be ideal for someone with 2-3 years’ experience and looking to take the next step in their fundraising career. As part of a small team, you’ll be excited about getting involved in all areas of community and events fundraising, building relationships with our members and driving our fundraising strategy forward. 

The purpose of the role is to:

Community Fundraising

·Supporting and running the community fundraising activities - engaging our centres, signing up new members, stewarding our donors, being the key point of our enquiries

·Organisation and delivery of mass participation events

·Providing guidance and supporting participants in promoting their efforts on social media

·Spotting opportunities for business development with organisations

• Provide guidance and support for supporters undertaking community fundraising and act as a key first point of call. Developing and improving the supporter journey with new materials.
• Organise and project manage events and fundraising campaigns. Add new fundraising campaigns and events to the calendar.
• Develop key materials needed to promote events and fundraising campaigns. Source case studies we can use to promote events, as well as the charity and use them in publications and socials.

• Experience of organising and supporting events and/or community fundraising in a voluntary or paid role.

Personal Profile

This is a leadership role at a pivotal moment in Screen Share’s journey. The role is funded to deliver our current Digital Skills programme, with a strong focus on quality, impact and evaluation. At the same time, we are awaiting the outcome of several significant funding applications. If successful, these will enable us to expand the programme quickly, positioning the postholder as the Head of a national digital skills programme with a larger team and greater leadership remit.

You will be a dynamic and strategic leader, passionate about digital inclusion and refugees. You bring structured programme management (clear processes, monitoring & evaluation, budget oversight) combined with empathy, cultural sensitivity and the ability to motivate others. You will be excited

Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the design and strategic direction of our Digital Skills programme, Ensure the service we are providing is high-quality, impactful, trauma-informed and aligned with Screen Share’s 2026–2030 strategy.

• Oversee the onboarding and support of hundreds of refugees looking to develop digitally, including supporting with the development of their Independent Learning Plan’s and journeys through Digital Champions 

• Recruite, coordinate and support our digital champions and staff to provide high-quality online and in-person classes, 1:1 support and effective sign-posting

• Maintain oversight of multiple Screen Share digital skills projects delivered over multiple locations. 

• Trial innovative digital inclusion tools and approaches.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact

• Design and oversee comprehensive impact measurement and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure the programme is most effective 

• Produce clear, data-centered programme and impact reports (quantitative and qualitative) for existing and prospective funders and partners

People & Volunteers

• Recruit, train and support Digital Champions and volunteers in a trauma-informed way

SERT’s ambition is to reach as many people as possible in the South East, to teach and show them the importance of rivers in the environment, and how everyone can play a part in restoring them. This role will lead the development and delivery of volunteering and community outreach activities that connect people with their local rivers. Activities will include practical volunteering such as river clean-ups, planting days, and invasive species control, as well as citizen science, guided walks, and community workshops.

Chief Executive officer

£56,000 per annum - pro rata

 (32 hours based on 37 hours per week FTE)

The CEO needs to be a strategic leader who can inspire and manage teams, drive fundraising and financial sustainability, and represent the organisation to stakeholders. You will need to be capable of building relationships, fostering a positive organisational culture and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

You will work with the Chair of the Board of Trustees (Chair) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to formulate and regularly review the organisation's mission and strategic plan. You will develop deep and trusting relationships with the Community we serve as well as with a wide range of external stakeholders and funders who can support the ideas generated from within the community.

We need an innovative, enthusiastic entrepreneur who is keen to connect with people from all backgrounds and abilities, encouraging and bringing out the best in us all.

At a more operational level you will work with the SLT to develop operational plans and key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure that GL11 can always demonstrate the value it brings to the community and wider stakeholder network.

You will be responsible, with the SLT, to set the values, behaviours and tone for the whole organisation and support the SLT to lead and manage their teams so that the strategic goals you set are reflected throughout the organisation.

This role is based at the Community Hub in Cam, Gloucestershire. Remote working opportunities are very limited as community connection is an important part of the role although the CEO will often be offsite given the networking nature of the role.

Z2K is a small but fearless anti-poverty charity. We combine frontline advice with bold influencing to tackle the systems that drive poverty - and we’re recruiting our first Major Donor & Corporate Lead.

You’ll lead on building and delivering our strategy for major donors and corporates, cultivating long-term partnerships rooted in shared values. Working closely with our Chief Executive, senior leadership team and trustees on major donor and corporate fundraising, and with our Communications Lead on fundraising communications and campaigns, you’ll shape compelling approaches to inspire support. You’ll also line manage our Fundraising Officer (grant funding & events), helping diversify Z2K’s income to change lives and challenge injustice. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to shape your approach. You’ll lead on identifying new prospects, crafting compelling proposals, and making the case for support to a wide range of external audiences. 

You’re a strategic relationship-builder who thrives on finding and forging connections that deliver lasting impact. You bring a track record of securing income from major donors and corporates, whether in the charity sector as through a business development function in the private sector. You know that successful fundraising starts with research, curiosity, and consistent cultivation. You’re confident identifying new prospects, opening doors, and developing tailored approaches that speak to both hearts and minds.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-led team, and your work will directly contribute to our ability to improve lives and push for systemic change.

Role Overview:

We’re working with a leading organisation to recruit an Engagement Officer on a 6-month contract. This is a varied role focused on supporting donor engagement through volunteering and pro bono programmes. The position offers the chance to work across teams, develop relationships with a range of stakeholders, and contribute to meaningful projects that create real social impact.

This hybrid role requires around 2–3 days per week in the office (Central London) and regular attendance at team events. The successful candidate will join a collaborative, purpose-driven environment where partnership and innovation are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and help deliver a range of meaningful volunteering activities.
• Work with donors, corporate partners, and charities to ensure effective engagement.
• Support relationship management and meetings with funders.
• Maintain accurate records using Salesforce and ensure smooth administration.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to plan and deliver volunteering sessions.
• Support account managers in ensuring consistent donor engagement throughout annual cycles.
• Ensure communications with donors and partners are clear, timely, and compelling.
• Support partner onboarding, inductions, and ongoing communications.
• Assist with tracking pro bono projects and updating CRM systems.
• Help with research, reporting, and preparation of supporter communications.
• Coordinate audit and feedback processes.
• Monitor shared inboxes and respond to queries.
• Support reporting, reviews, and process improvements.
• Provide administrative and project support across the team.
• Represent the team at events and cross-functional projects when needed.

Person Specification:

• Experience managing volunteering or membership programmes.
• Understanding of donor engagement and corporate partnerships.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Project management and organisational skills – able to juggle priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
• IT proficient (including Microsoft Office and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce).
• Experience in fundraising, especially with corporates or major donors (desirable).
• Knowledge of education, employment, or youth-focused sectors (desirable).
• Experience working with young people (desirable).
• Familiarity with digital fundraising or communications (desirable).

Cynthia Spencer Hospice – Head of Commercial

Salary: £50-55K per annum.

Contract: Permanent, full-time hours.

Location: Northampton, NN3, with one-two days working from home.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice, based in Northampton, is seeking a Head of Commercial to lead and implement a commercial strategy to maximise profitable income streams in support of the Hospice’s work.

In conjunction with the NHS, the Hospice provides care for people with life limiting illnesses both at its hospice and in the community. This care is funded by the NHS with the charity raising extra funds to provide a range of supporting programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior retail professional to bring an entrepreneurial vision and shape this area of income for the charity. You will be responsible for managing their current commercial businesses and seeking out new, exciting commercial opportunities to support annual profit growth. You will also inspire and manage a diverse team of staff and volunteers and ensuring delivery of project milestones and financial targets.

The successful candidate will have retail sector management and development at a senior level, alongside experience of e-commerce, multi-site management and strategic planning and development. You will have a proven track record in people management across paid and volunteer resource and the charity would like to see evidence of driving profit improvement by at least 20% within a three year period. Alongside your strong commercial and financial acumen, you will have plenty of ideas about new business opportunities and/or experience of development and trialling of new business and alternative trading models. Finally, you will be results focused, entrepreneurial and innovative, whilst having a commitment to the aim and ethos of the Hospice.

The role would suit a successful area manager who is ready to take the next step.
