Job Summary
As England’s First Aid charity our website is the first point of call for people who want to know how to learn first aid, donate or fundraise and join St John Ambulance volunteer and youth programmes.
As our Digital Content Officer you will support our Website Content Manager to create content so that our diverse audiences can find what they want on our website quickly, have a seamless experience, and can take action easily - such as donate, fundraise, sign up as a volunteer, join our youth movement, and learn how to do first aid.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience within a similar role with some understanding of website analytics and a keenness to learn more
- Experience of developing and testing website content
- Experience of using a content management system (CMS) to create and edit content on a website.
- Experience of co-ordinating content libraries such as image, film, design of case studies
- Good technical ability with an understanding of AX, A/B tests & user personas and experience of using Tag Manager, HotJar, Semrush and other tools
About the Role
You will help to create website content that leverages our brand, the impact of our work and personal stories to compel people to support us online, become volunteers, as well as make sure that our sector-leading first aid information is accessible to everyone. You will:
- Assist the Website Content Manager in reviewing content and delivering our website content strategy.
- Work with the Content Manager to produce clear and compelling content and ensure stories are used across the website to motivate people to donate
- Work with stakeholders from different teams across the organisation to ensure that content meets KPIs, user needs and accessibility standards
- Use analytics tools to monitor and improve web content, deliver a seamless website experience and improve conversions.

- Job Title: Justice Programme Manager
- Location: Remote/Hybrid/Nottingham
- Salary: £40,000 p/a based on 35 hours per week

Headway is seeking a new Justice Programme Manager who will expand the current services to have a greater impact on police and probation services, improving knowledge and understanding and the support offenders with brain injuries receive.
We want someone who can both oversee the existing projects, such as our brain injury ID cards, whilst expanding the services in line with our new strategy, due to launch in the summer of 2024.
What will you do:
- Develop and implement a strategy for Headway’s work within the criminal justice system.
- Work with and develop key relationships across, police, probation services to improve knowledge and systems for offenders with brain injuries.
- Develop new justice related projects, including working with Headway’s fundraising team, to generate new income to expand the services.
- Work with the network of local Headway charities, to expand their work, within the justice system.
- Manage and deliver Headway’s justice related training initiatives.
- Oversee the successful delivery of Headway UK’s Brain Injury ID Card, including the line management of the project lead.

As Prince’s Trust International transitions to The King’s Trust International and expands its reach, we have an exciting opportunity that will be pivotal in strengthening the legal, governance and assurance function for the charity.
You will be working closely with our Head of Legal & Company Secretary and lead on complex, challenging and meaningful projects worldwide. You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or paralegal with post qualification legal experience gained in house or in a proactive private practice environment that you will utilise to help the charity to boost its income, including through a newly established trading subsidiary, and to support young people through programmes delivered in over 18 countries.
Proactive and solutions-focused, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective trusted relationships and influence at all levels. You will need to be well-versed in most areas of charity and commercial law, adept at providing legal advice and assistance and able to undertake company secretarial and legal compliance matters. Flexible, you will be able quickly to expand your knowledge and experience in new areas as part of an ambitious and agile team. We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Data and IT team. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of assigned IT projects within the charity. You'll be responsible for managing the project team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards. You'll serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include supporting and advocating for women and children, taking part in the on-call rota, managing day to day running of the refuge; health & safety, safeguarding and supporting the service and deputy manager.
Please note that this post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies. As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota. An enhanced DBS will also be required for the successful applicant.
