Dad Matters Surrey exists to support dads to have the best possible relationship with their families. We do this by providing 1:1 and group peer support, helping Dads make sense of parenthood, and providing or signposting Dads to mental health support and access to relevant services. Working closely with other professionals, we are able to better support dads in the first 1001 days of their parenting journey.

As Dad Matters Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver face-to-face support and engagement with dads.
• Raise awareness of mental health and parenting support available to fathers.
• Support volunteers with lived experience of fatherhood.
• Collaborate with Home-Start Coordinators to ensure holistic family support.

This energising role will see you supporting individuals and groups within our local community, to organise their own events and fundraise for our vital care. You need to be someone who’s compassionate but can bring bags of energy to the position! One day you might be supporting someone to open their garden or hold an afternoon tea and the next you’ll be dressing up and joining the team to deliver our Reindeer Run’s at local schools. There’s also the space for you to think creatively and bring new fundraising ideas and campaigns to our community fundraising calendar.

We’re looking to appoint an enthusiastic and positive individual who is great at communicating and confident at building relationships. You’ll also need to have excellent presenting skills to motivate and inspire our supporters. About You

A successful Community Fundraiser will have:

• Experience of working within a fundraising team or relevant transferrable skills
• Be personable and friendly with strong communication skills to engage with a variety of audiences and ages, with presentation experience
• The ability to manage conflicting priorities and be adaptable to changing demands on your time
• Understanding of the locality of Phyllis Tuckwell and catchment area across West Surrey & North East Hampshire
• Experience of working with supporters/customers and/or volunteers
• The willingness to pull up your sleeves and join in as part of a busy team but have the ability to work independently
• Have a flexible approach to working hours as the role involves some evening and weekend working
• A full driving licence and their own car

Linden Road in Redbourn supports 2 gentlemen living in their own bungalows with everyday life skills. The service provides a 24/7 support service, with an emphasis on choice and control, enabling customers to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and integration into the wider community.
We are looking some someone who is able to build supportive, trusting relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere. You need to be able to provide a flexible, personalised and responsive support service that is tailored to each customer's abilities and aspirations. This will include a willingness to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Customers need support with daily living activities, including practical assistance, cooking, feeding, cleaning and person care. The role will also require you to maintain appropriate records to a professional standard in accordance with Look Ahead's policies and procedures. Thier sublet service support provides housing management support to clients living in self-contained units across the city to manage a tenancy independently. 

They are looking for a Mental Health Recovery Worker to join a small team that works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve positive outcomes. The role 

As their Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will lead on the case management of clients and be part of a team that supports them in keeping them safe and helping them achieve their goals.  You’ll provide people with homes and specialist support so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps. 

You will produce and regularly review comprehensive client-based risk assessments along with engaging with local authorities, health providers and other agencies, creating and maintaining constructive working relationships to maximise the opportunities available to clients.

Job Description

Purpose:

• Overall responsibility for the delivery of Chance to Shine’s events, ensuring each event is executed to the highest standard.
• To lead the planning, budgeting, sales and delivery of fundraising events at Chance to Shine ensuring each event maximises income and profit for the charity.
• To develop an events strategy to maximise income from fundraising challenge events.
• To build positive relationships with charity VIPs and ambassadors, ensuring they are fully briefed at each event.
• To manage the Events Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management

• Project management of a full programme of events including cultivation dinners, annual awards receptions, and major fundraising events.
• Lead on selling Chance to Shine events to new and existing supporters, maximising income through ticket/table sales, auction and raffle income, and sponsorships.

Event Planning

• Lead on the concept and design of new fundraising events.
• To develop and regularly review an organisational events strategy focused on maximising income and return on investment for the charity.

· To develop annual budgets, forecasts and plans for all event income to feed into the wider fundraising budget. 

· To have specific responsibility for the events budget within Chance to Shine Enterprises (CTSE), the trading subsidiary. 

Relationship Management

• Broaden supporter networks and build a community of event supporters through networking, introductions, and working with the wider fundraising team to cross sell events and maximise income.
• Build relationships with existing and new event partners including; charity ambassadors and event hosts, venues, auctioneers, auction/raffle supporters, silent auction partners, and value-in-kind partners/sponsors. 
• To lead on supplier relationships.
• To work with and manage senior volunteers to develop, plan and deliver major fundraising events.

Beneficiary and challenge events

• To build relationships with high value event partners and supporters who are raising funds on behalf of Chance to Shine, providing support as needed.
• To provide guidance to the Events Officer to maximise income from challenge events and community/third-party events.
• To work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to integrate fundraising challenge events into our corporate partnership offer.
• To develop and implement a strategy to grow income from challenge events.

· To line manage the Events Officer.

· To engage Trustees, SMT and colleagues to support partnership opportunities where appropriate.

· To maintain up to date Raisers Edge records relating to event attendees and partners.

Job Purpose

This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.

Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.

The objectives of the service include:

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
• To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
• To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
• To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
• To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
• To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis via a drop-in service.
• To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.

The Role

The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of senior support workers and support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site and allocated borough following the borough-based approach. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service. The role will include implementing a smooth running of the service including facilitating debriefing and providing senior support onsite. The role of the team manager is non-clinical.

• Providing a person centred and recovery orientated approach in all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.

• Guiding the team, responding to referrals and planning each shift in terms of staffing, activities and case allocation

Croydon BME Forum, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, is tackling ethnic inequalities in health and social care through this “Can You C Me Project”. The Macmillan Team offers personalised support, information, and referrals for individuals affected by cancer, including families and carers, across six South West London boroughs: Croydon, Merton, Kingston, Wandsworth, and Richmond. Working within a team of three, you will be responsible for two boroughs, Croydon and Merton while supporting colleagues as needed.

As a Project Coordinator for the Can You C Me project, you will play a key role in engaging BME communities to enhance cancer awareness and support. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will lead outreach initiatives, community engagement, and the organisation of project activities across Southwest London. Each coordinator is assigned a specific set of boroughs, collaborating closely with community organisations, faith groups, healthcare providers, and individuals affected by cancer.

Role Overview 

Support Through Sport CIO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our innovative School and Community Navigator programme throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
