Youth Futures Foundation is looking for a senior External Affairs professional to lead a busy multi-disciplinary team to drive our reputational, influencing and engagement work as the What Works Centre for Youth Employment.
About the role
- This is a newly created role where you will have responsibility for driving an integrated approach to our audience influencing to deliver our strategic objectives, through collective oversight across our public affairs, stakeholder relations, communications and marketing work.
- The post holder will report to the Director of Policy and External Affairs and work closely with the CEO, wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Deputy Director of Strategic Development to enable purposeful reputational growth, enhanced brand recognition and the delivery of external impact.
- The post holder will need to be an experienced leader and manager; a people person able to inspire, nurture and support a team of motivated engagement and communications professionals as well as deputising for the Director more widely when required.
- To be successful, the post holder will need to be able to balance big picture thinking with driving practical implementation and outcomes across the team and thriving in ambiguity when needed. The skills and experience to drive and support internal change to foster an optimal operating environment and ability to design and embed future focused ways of working will be important to the success of the role
This role can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

our staff team is helping 56,000 young people each year at its 44 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.
We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take on the role of Regional Operations Manager for our centres in South London (Walworth, Kennington and Brixton) along with our centres in Southampton and Brighton.
As a Regional Operations Manager you will line manage the Centre Leaders in your region to ensure that centres are working effectively, that the high quality of programme delivery to young people is maintained across the cluster, and that targets are monitored and met.
And of course, you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them achieve their ambitions.

Conract:
This is a permanent role. This role can be either full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) - responsibilities will be adjusted proportionally for part-time candidates.

Working hours:
Mon and Thurs: 09:30-18:00
Tues, Weds, Fri: 09:00-17:30
We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. We are an organisation with team members at different stages of their career, including many in their first roles: We are committed to nurturing talent and providing a developmental culture for all. Our team works in-person 4 days per week (or 3 days for a 0.8 FTE staff member) with 1 day working from home.
Location
The role would be based at one of our centres in the South London and South Coast cluster:
South London: Walworth, Kennington, Brixton
South coast: Southampton, Brighton
Regular travel to all centres in the region will be required.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in our Residential Living Flat where we support eight adults with significant learning disabilities to live their best and most independent lives.
Essential Requirements for the Role:
- Flexible approach to working hours to include evenings and weekends.
- Ability to manage and administer medication.
- Willingness to support with personal care when necessary.
- A car driver and able to take residents to off-site activities driving the service’s VW Caddy.
- Willingness to provide emergency cover in the event of a colleague’s unplanned absence.

You are organised, reliable, and can manage your workload effectively while responding flexibly to the day-to-day needs of the residents and can demonstrate your commitment to maintaining a positive environment for residents and your colleagues.
About the Role:
As part of a small, close-knit team you will provide daily person-centred support and elements of personal care to eight residents, all with significant learning disabilities and some with physical disabilities, with a focus on supporting and promoting independent living as far as reasonably possible.
