We have an excellent opportunity for a Copywriter and Content Creator to join the Strategic Communications team.
Position: Copywriter and Content Creator
Location: Devon/Hybrid (fully remote working considered)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday
Salary: £33,208 per annum

About the Role
You will gather, develop and produce creative content for use across all campaigns and communication channels that demonstrates the relevance and urgency of the charity’s work worldwide. This role will have a specialist focus on creating copy and content that can be used in corporate, business-to-business and brand communications and campaigns.
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include
- Generate original and creative written content for use across a range of projects and campaigns with a specialism focus of corporate, B2B and brand communications and campaigns.
- Generate a broad range of creative, effective content types including social media posts, reels and stories.
- Create succinct, impactful and engaging copy for news stories, video scripts, long-form magazine and web articles, brochures, reports, advertisements, social media, video storyboards and more.
- Work closely with the senior leaders and directors internationally to generate tailor-made written content. For example, speeches, presentations, opinion articles and LinkedIn articles and posts.
- Present initial ideas to relevant managers and stakeholders with a view to developing them into workable concepts.
- Ensure all copy is proofread and reviewed for accuracy and tone of voice, working as a brand guardian.
- Act as a business partner and point of contact for various stakeholders and regional in-country colleagues, nurturing relationships to generate a steady flow of content.
The working pattern for this role will be hybrid working, which combine onsite and home working under the guiding principles for such roles, with onsite attendance currently anticipated to be at least 2 days a month.
Candidates must be able to travel to Sidmouth for onsite attendance.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with proven commercial copywriting skills and experience spanning a broad range of formats (e.g. social media, opinion articles, advertising, scriptwriting) and a firm understanding of storytelling.
You will also have:
- Experience creating a broad range of social media content types.
- Versatility and a solid understanding of brand and tone of voice.
- An ability to write creative, engaging copy to tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Excellent proof-reading skills and an eye for detail.

ABOUT THE SWAN YOUTH PROJECT
The Swan Youth Project (SYP) Limited is a Berkhamsted based registered charity which offers 11-16+ years old of Berkhamsted and the surrounding area, a safe and secure recreational facility within which they can relax and socialise away from the stresses of school or home life. To support them in this we provide a daily drop-in facility with organised activities at the centre as well as holiday programmes, workshops, music gigs and so much more.
The SYP centre is well equipped with a DJ booth, pool table, table football, Internet room, chill-out room, Wii & Xbox, coffee bar and a fully equipped band practice room. A free snack and hot drink are offered to all members (some of whom may not have eaten all day).
ABOUT THE ROLE: You will help plan, execute and engage in activities that enhance member development.
Duties will include:
1. Running daily sessions both in the centre and off-site activities / trips
2. Assist with the planning and set up of specific activities
3. Engage and build positive relationships with young people, responding appropriately to challenging situations
4. Create a calm and safe environment for both the young people and the staff.
5. All team members take on a share of the activities required for the smooth running of the centre; i.e. running our social media channels, fundraising, timely completion of all required centre checks

About the Role
As a Recruitment Manager, you’ll drive our process for finding and selecting the founders of the new organizations we launch. This is a highly impactful role, for two key reasons:

Your ability to find and select an additional outstanding founder will likely result in an additional incredible organisation launching. For every Lucia Coulter & Jack Rafferty we find, we can launch another organisation like LEEP, preventing more than 44 million children suffering lead poisoning.

The biggest predictor of charity success we have is the strength of the co-founding team. If you can refine our recruitment process to reliably attract and select higher-potential founders, the organizations we launch will help more humans and animals at scale.
Our Recruitment team operates across two distinct, though overlapping, areas of work:

We operate as a tight-knit team of four who work flexibly across the two domains. We anticipate a new hire doing both Outreach and Vetting work, with some possibility to specialise more in one direction or the other based on experience and preference.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
Working within experienced and committed teams, the Behaviour Change Worker will deliver trauma responsive interventions including one to one support and group work to prevent harm.

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. You will work closely with the Income Generation Team and Services Teams to develop and maintain long-term sustainable funding from Trusts and Foundations. Senior Fundraiser (Corporate Partnerships) — 0.8 FTE
Salary: £38,000–£45,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Hours: 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) flexible pattern available

About Young Hammersmith & Fulham Foundation
Young H&F strengthens the youth sector in Hammersmith & Fulham by supporting the organisations and professionals working with young people. With 100+ members (from grassroots groups to larger charities), we convene, fund, and champion a community led, youth-voice approach so that every young person can thrive.
Role Overview
This senior, hands-on role will lead our corporate fundraising, winning, growing, and stewarding strategic partnerships that deliver both income and impact. You’ll shape a clear offer for businesses (from White City Innovation District players to household names), design engaging staff experiences, and tell the story of one partnership → borough-wide impact. You’ll work closely with the CEO, trustees and colleagues in Partnerships/Grants, Impact and Comms. You’ll also have delivery resources to succeed: access to consultancy for prospect research, bid support, creative, etc., and a campaign/event budget.
Targets & Trajectory (guiding KPIs):
• Income: £75k–£125k secured within 18 months; £150k–£200k by end of year two.
• Portfolio: 15+ active corporate relationships; 95% retention.
• Pipeline: Balanced mix of local (e.g., White City Innovation District) and London-wide corporates.
• Engagement: Deliver 1–2 cultivation events/year with team and trustee involvement.
Key Responsibilities
1) New Business & Pipeline
• Build and manage a tiered prospect pipeline (e.g., Disney, Imperial College London, L’Oréal; innovation district and borough anchor institutions).
• Lead outreach, discovery, and tailored proposals for £10k–£50k+ partnerships (CIC/CSR/ESG, sponsorship, skills/volunteering, payroll giving, in-kind, cause-related marketing).
• Co-create compelling value propositions and packages (local stories + measurable outcomes + staff engagement).
• Use the consultancy budget strategically (e.g., research, copy/design, senior introductions) to accelerate conversion.
2) Account Management & Stewardship
• Provide excellent partner experience and stewardship plans; agree on KPIs/MOUs and deliverables; renew and grow multi-year partnerships.
• Design staff engagement that goes beyond volunteering: insight sessions, youth-led events, site visits, mentoring, pro-bono sprints.
• Work with Impact to evidence results (dashboards, case studies, SROI), and with Comms on brand-aligned content and events.
3) Strategy, Governance & Reporting
• Own the corporate income plan aligned to our Revenue Growth Strategy (with realistic quarterly milestones and early-warning triggers).
• Track pipeline and income on the CRM; produce quarterly RAG dashboards for the Task Force/Board.
• Uphold ethical screening and brand alignment; ensure legal/compliance and safeguarding standards are met.
4) Internal & External Collaboration
• Partner with Partnerships & Grants to align offers and avoid duplication (trusts/consortia insight sharing).
• Leverage the CEO and trustees for warm introductions; brief and support them for pitches/cultivation.
• Champion youth voice and member benefits in every partnership.

Experience & Knowledge (essential)
• Demonstrable success personally securing and growing £10k–£50k+ partnerships in the charity or commercial/corporate sector (e.g., CSR/ESG, B2B partnerships, sponsorship, key accounts).
• Strong track record of account management and stewardship with senior stakeholders; confident in negotiation and renewal.
• Clear understanding of why companies partner (brand, people, purpose, place) and how to align offers to business goals.
Skills & Abilities (essential)
• Outstanding relationship management; credible with senior leaders; collaborative with internal teams.
• Excellent storytelling and proposal writing; persuasive presentations; ability to tailor value propositions.
• Organised and data-literate, manages pipeline, forecasts income, and meets deadlines across multiple prospects.
• Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused; comfortable working autonomously in a small, agile team.
Desirable
• Knowledge of the youth/education/community sector and/or Hammersmith & Fulham landscape.
• Experience designing staff engagement/volunteering offers and cause related campaigns.
• Familiarity with impact reporting (e.g., outcomes frameworks, SROI) and charity CRM systems.
• Capable of identifying potential major donors within corporate settings
