We're launching a movement to change the way men in the UK think about their well-being and personal growth. This isn't just about starting a charity; it's about building a space where courage is celebrated, vulnerability is a strength, and no man feels like he's on his own.

But a movement needs leaders with heart, determination, dedication and courage.

We're looking for our founding Board of Trustees. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines. It's for the person who wants to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. It’s a chance to be at the very beginning of something that will change lives. You'll be the guiding force that turns our vision into reality.

We're looking for a mix of skills - maybe you're a whiz with finance, have a background in law, or you're a genius at marketing and fundraising. But what we really need is your passion, your time, your dedication and a rock-solid belief in our mission.

Will you help us shape our future by joining us a trustee? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to making a difference to our work. We welcome applications from people of all professional backgrounds, whether or not they are patients or have experience in the healthcare sector. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with skills in digital marketing and communications, charity management and fundraising.

As a Trustee, you will share responsibility for the governance of the British Thyroid Foundation (BTF) and will fully understand the charity’s purpose as set out in its governing document. You will have strategic oversight of the planning for what the charity wants to achieve and be able to explain how our activities support our objectives. You will always act in the BTF’s best interest and ensure accountability within the charity. You will comply with the charity’s governing document, manage the charity’s resources responsibility and act with reasonable care and skill.

We need a compassionate and organised team to help us build a joyful and supportive environment for them. We're looking for volunteers to join our first HR & Volunteer Management Committee. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to take on the role of Community First Aid Network Leader who can work and lead volunteering groups and leaders in their own way, supported by our central teams

At St John Ambulance, we are looking to embed ourselves within our communities, delivering support which is tailored to the needs of those communities whilst providing a positive experience for our Volunteers.

We need leaders who are passionate about making a difference in their communities, who care about helping and developing others, who will lead and inspire a volunteer movement across a geographical area to deliver Community First Aid, Community Education and Community Fundraising as well as develop our offering for young people. Through leading a team of Volunteer leaders, you will drive excellence in delivery, develop an inclusive and diverse volunteering experience for new and current volunteers, and help navigate through change to build a bigger and better St John Ambulance.

 As Network Events Services Lead, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride through supporting a team and our volunteers to deliver our essential services. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation.

 We will make sure you will have access to a proper induction to volunteering with SJA and the training you need for the role you take on. As a County Lead of Bedfordshire,  you will be part of the establishment of a County St John Council to oversee and guide volunteer Community Networks aims to create a structured and supportive framework that empowers volunteers to operate more effectively and efficiently. By providing strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight, the council ensures that volunteer efforts align with community needs and priorities while avoiding duplication of services.

St John has embarked on a journey to achieve the goal of ensuring that every community and young person across the country is first aid confident.

We are looking for a leader with a passion for local volunteering and helping communities to inspire and support volunteers on this journey across your county

The post will also interact with relevant Communities of Practice to share learning, advice and best practice

Within this role, there will be a focus on the fundraising element, so we would want you to be passionate about supporting, inspiring, and working with networks to develop fundraising plans and activity.
