NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) provides emotional support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse; including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect.
We offer empathy, validation, normalisation, understanding and care to our callers. We also assist survivors in finding longer term or local support, utilising common coping and grounding mechanisms, as well as signposting to other services who may be able to provide additional support.
Our service is vital as many survivors of childhood abuse continue to be negatively impacted by their experiences into adulthood – from complex post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders and depression amongst other challenges.
It doesn’t have to be this way – this is the chance for you to change someone’s life for the better. We are seeking empathetic and resilient Volunteer Call Handlers to join our friendly team in Stockport.
Volunteer Call Handlers answer calls to NAPAC’s primary survivor support service – the telephone support line, so being confident speaking on the telephone is essential.
Due to the nature of the role, we require our volunteers to be above the age of 21.
Our volunteers at NAPAC are part of a unique, welcoming team where they receive 1:1 support from those around them. Volunteers will receive a 5-week training course (4×3-hour sessions plus a shadowing week).
Volunteer recruitment is ongoing with courses running every couple of months. Here you will receive specialist trauma-informed training and be fully equipped with the skills you need to feel confident in supporting survivors. Volunteers are also invited to attend our twice-yearly training days where we host guest speakers from other relevant organisations. Our volunteers play a crucial role supporting survivors and make a real difference to someone’s life with every call.

Position Overview:
The Service Sales Specialist plays a dual role in driving programme enrollment and delivering exceptional service to prospective participants. Role Summary
Quilombo UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Services Sales Specialist to join our team as a self-employed contractor. Compensation Structure

Main Responsibilities
This is a target-driven, client-facing role responsible for the full sales cycle:
● Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify prospective clients aligned with Quilombo UK’s mission and services.

- Produce high-volume, high-quality content consistently, aligned with campaign priorities and platform requirements.
- Repurpose long-form content (e.g. podcasts, interviews, stories) into short-form assets optimised for social platforms.
- Work within C.I.C brand guidelines, ethical standards, safeguarding requirements, and trauma-informed frameworks at all times.
- Submit all content for approval, structured storage, tagging, and future reuse in line with C.I.C workflows.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Director, Campaign Managers, Analysts, and Automators to align content with strategy, insight, and distribution.
- Contribute creative ideas, concepts, and improvements, not just output, supporting experimentation and continuous improvement.

Hospital Visitor volunteers visit hospital settings to ensure that people detained under the Mental Health Act are aware that they have a legal right to an IMHA qualified advocate. The volunteers are instrumental in ensuring that clients get access to an advocate and can also support the work that advocates undertake.
As a hospital volunteer, you might:
- hold drop-in sessions
- attend events and ward meetings at local facilities
- share information
- assist people to request advocacy support by completing a form online or calling our contact centre
All volunteering will take place Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00. You will need to be over 18 years old and be living in the UK. Please note that there is no opportunity to volunteer at weekends or in the evening.

Relevant Person’s Representative (RPR) Support Volunteer
People in care homes should have a voice to communicate their needs wishes and wants. Some people need support with this, but don’t have friends and family available to assist them. This means they’re entitled to have support from an RPR and volunteer, who are there to make sure they get the care they deserve. Your role as an RPR Support Volunteer is to collaborate with the VoiceAbility RPR to make sure a person’s views are listened to when decisions are made about their care.
As an RPR Support Volunteer you might:

Norwich Arts Students' Union (NASU) is the representative body for students at Norwich University of the Arts, dedicated to enriching the student experience by helping students find their voice, their people, and their fun.
Having become an incorporated charity in 2025, NASU is navigating an incredibly exciting period of growth and transformation with ambitions become the best Small and Specialist Students' Union in the UK. About the Role
This is a defining leadership opportunity to chair the Board of Trustees at a critical and exciting moment in NASU's journey. As Chair, you will provide strategic guidance and governance leadership to an organisation that is rapidly maturing whilst centring its creative, student-led values.
Working in close partnership with the Managing Director and elected student officers, you will ensure the Board operates effectively, holds the organisation accountable to its charitable objectives, and champions a culture of empowerment, inclusion and innovation. You will guide the Board in balancing ambitious growth with financial sustainability, ensuring that students remain at the heart of everything they do.
About You
NASU are seeking an experienced and empathetic leader with a strong understanding of membership organisations and the unique dynamics of supporting student-led bodies to grow sustainably. You will have demonstrable experience of working at a senior level in Students' Unions or similar charitable organisations, ideally with governance or Board experience.
You will be someone who values creativity, champions inclusive leadership and approaches governance with both rigour and humanity. Your leadership style will be collaborative and empowering, combining strategic thinking with emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for the student experience.
