Provide informal communication support for a profoundly deaf staff member during conversations and discussions when they are onsite

Role Purpose
The Operations Manager of Marketing sits between Directors and Managers, turning high-level creative and communication objectives into clear, deliverable department plans. Key Responsibilities

Manager Leadership: Coaching Graphic Design and PR Managers to run projects effectively, ensuring 100% work visibility in MeisterTask.

Assurance & Rework Control: Reducing rework by improving initial brief clarity and ensuring time is built into plans for thorough creative and editorial review.

Requirements
Essential
Proven experience in marketing management, graphic design, or public relations.

Familiarity with design software (Adobe Suite, Canva) and PR/Social Media technologies.
Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of tasks spanning visual and written communication.
Focused, organised, and able to prioritise and execute tasks independently.

About Circular Kitchens
Circular Kitchens is a social enterprise and membership platform designed to help restaurants, cafés, pubs, food stalls, and other catering businesses become fully circular: Plastic Free, Ecological, Local, and Zero Waste.
By working with the hospitality sector, we are helping regenerate local communities, strengthen regional food systems, and increase demand for ecological and regenerative agriculture in the UK. Our current focus is launching Circular Kitchens in Whitstable and supporting our first mover restaurants to achieve 3 Star Circular Kitchens certification. Based on learnings from this pilot, we are preparing to scale across the UK, growing our environmental and social impact.
Role Description
Circular Kitchens is seeking a volunteer to support our early-stage software platform development, with a focus on how we manage restaurant resources, pledges, and audits using Coda. We are already working with a highly-skilled volunteer who has developed a strong plan of action and who will serve as a project manager and mentor.
This role will include working with tools such as Coda, Softr, and Mailchimp to set up automations, clean up data, and brainstorm on future platform improvements. This work supports the early foundations of a scalable platform designed to support hundreds of Circular Kitchens members over time. It is a chance to work with fantastic people, quickly see the impact of your contribution, and be a part of truly building sometihng from the ground up!
An Ideal Candidate Will Be:
Experienced in computer science, data science, or a related field
Comfortable working with digital tools, databases, and information management platforms like Coda

VOLUNTEER ADMINISTRATOR
Across the UK, our 65 local branches work with disabled people to help them live the lives they choose. Our network of skilled volunteers respond to thousands of requests each year to design and make customised equipment free of charge.
Our Administrator volunteers are the lynchpin our local branch activities. They act as the first point of contact, ensure useful information is circulated to other members and help us make sure we keep all the data and details we need up to date.
What the role involves
This is a varied role that each branch tends to do a bit differently, but it will involve:
• Keeping records and data up to date and taking notes at meetings
• Preparing mail-outs
• Answering enquiries
• Accessing the branch Remap Email and Portal accounts
• Booking venues for meetings
• Ensuring branch members are aware of current agreements/activities
We can support you to develop the skills you need for this role, and there’s an induction that covers all the areas above. You’ll also have chance to discuss your role and any additional needs with us.
What you’ll need for this role
• Confident using Microsoft Office, the internet and email
• Comfortable organising the administration of a group
• Able to follow Remap policies and procedures

Where will I volunteer?
The Finance Volunteer role is largely home based, but it varies from branch to branch – some branches hold in-person meetings once a month or so, and their Finance Volunteers tend to be based in the area the branch covers.
If it works better for you, however, there’s a possibility this role could be done remotely.
Time commitment
This also varies, but it’s generally around 1-2 hours a week.

Llanelli is our biggest shop and is in the heart of the town centre.
Plenty of window space has led to an opportunity to display a crackerjackpot window vinyl which includes a QR code to encourage passers-by to play our lottery.
Considerations:
Age requirement: 16+
Location: 24-26 Stepney Street, Llanelli SA15 3TR
Commitment:Our shops operate Monday-Saturday, 9am-4:45pm and we appreciate any time you can spare, but ideally at least 2 hours per week.
Shifts will be discussed during your informal chat.
