Our groups and courses can be run online or in-person in your local area.
- The amazing 6-week Happiness Habits Course is designed to be run by pairs of volunteers. It features expert videos, science-backed exercises and the chance to form meaningful connections. Our course has been specially designed to gather the insights of the world's leading experts on six fundamental aspects of a happy and meaningful life: Gratitude, Self-Care, Relationships, Resilience, Kindness, and Meaning. It is a very impactful (many say life-changing) experience.
- Alternatively, you can get involved by supporting a Monthly Group, bringing like-minded people together to learn evidence-based tools for creating a happier and more meaningful life. Explore the monthly themes and encourage people to set personal actions towards happiness, that support both themselves and others.

What is the time commitment?

Are you a qualified Yoga Instructor who would enjoy facilitating weekly sessions to help individuals with their general well-being. This is an opportunity for you to share techniques with others. We are looking for a volunteer who is available on Thursdays at 12pm!
What you will be doing
- Design session plans enabling all group members to increase fitness, suppleness and help them relax
- Teach the group yoga postures and breathing techniques which allow a range of mixed ages and abilities to participate

About the role:
To design and maintain secure, usable digital systems that support operations, safeguarding and collaboration, enabling the CIC to function efficiently and scale responsibly.
The Purpose of This Role:
The Digital Marketing Director is responsible for designing, leading, and operationalising the CIC’s entire digital growth and outreach strategy during its founding phase.
This role exists to:

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Design and own the organisation’s digital marketing strategy aligned to 2026 goals
- Define how digital channels support fundraising, membership, volunteering, and campaigns
- Set priorities across email, landing pages, CRM journeys, and paid campaigns
Operational Delivery
- Oversee digital marketing systems including:
- Email marketing and automation
- Landing pages and conversion journeys
- CRM integration (e.g. CiviCRM or equivalent)
- Ensure campaigns are planned, executed, tracked, and reviewed
- Work closely with Social Media, Fundraising, Membership, and Digital Systems teams
Growth & Campaigns
- Lead digital campaigns for:
- Donor acquisition
- Volunteer and ambassador recruitment

- Ensure all growth activity is ethical, trauma-aware, and values-aligned
Data, Learning & Improvement
- Monitor performance metrics and conversion data

- Help design the future paid digital marketing department
- Document systems, workflows, and decision logic
- Act as a steward of ethical digital practice within the CIC

The purpose of the role is to design and facilitate gardening activities at our community allotment with refugees and people seeking asylum, alongside our other gardening volunteers.
The role includes:
- planning and facilitating seasonal gardening activities with small groups
- supporting participants to bring their own ideas, work independently or lead their own activities where appropriate, providing support and guidance as needed

At the garden we run gardening, art and craft activities. Through these sessions we maintain our beautiful community garden, grow and harvest vegetable/fruit crops and create wildlife and social areas. We always try to make sure there are a range of activities to choose from to fit with a range of energy/ability levels. All new ideas for activities to do at the garden are welcome!
Our sessions are on Tuesday mornings and afternoons and Friday mornings
Gardening expertise is not necessary for this role, although it is always very welcome.

The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Chair of Trustees to lead East London Waterworks Park for three years, with the possibility to remain on the board for two further terms of three years. This is a rare opportunity to join a pioneering environmental charity and to work with the first paid Chief Executive Office to shape this next phase of our development.

East London Waterworks Park is currently entirely run by volunteers, and volunteers involved in day-to-day operations also sit on the board of trustees. However, we recognise the need to transition to a more sustainable structure and introduce a formal separation between the board of trustees and day-to-day operations. We are recruiting for a paid Chief Executive Officer and also want to appoint a new Chair of Trustees to ensure we have the capacity and strategic oversight to deliver the exciting projects planned in 2026 and beyond, while retaining our strong community-led ethos.

Community researchers wanted to help East London Waterworks Park ensure our community-owned park is inclusive and welcoming for all.

The Inclusivity Circle currently meets monthly on a Wednesday evening on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely.
While your experienced research skills are crucial, we also value your ability to engage with the community and build partnerships. Experience in conducting community-based research or working with community organisations is important. A strong understanding of community dynamics and the ability to collaborate effectively will be invaluable in ensuring your research findings are relevant and impactful. Our roles are quite flexible. We hope that people bring radical imagination, peace with nature, and courageous inclusiveness to the role.
Contribute to the creation of a new biodiverse community-owned park with free access natural swimming ponds. Your research expertise will be vital in shaping our new biodiverse park. By conducting listening research on community needs, and potential park uses, you'll help us create a sustainable and inclusive space. Your findings will inform our design, programming, and outreach efforts, ensuring the park meets the needs of our community and contributes to biodiversity conservation.

Who are we?
We are Buttons & Bubbles CIC. We are dedicated to increasing inclusion and representation across society for disabled families.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for volunteers to help with our social media. We want to massively improve and increase our content from TikTok to You Tube. So much goes into social media from the physical filming and scripts to making the small everyday promotional posts to bigger videos, editing and posting them. We need people to help with every aspect of social media But don’t panic we are not asking one person to do all of this! So keep reading....
Who are we looking for?
- Somebody who is fun loving
- Be creative. Content creation is all about being creative.
- Knowledge or willingness to research algorithms and social media trends.
- Willing to learn or has knowledge of editing and posting videos
- Enjoy building online community
- No previous experience is necessary but a willingness to learn is essential.
What do we expect?
- Must be willing to undertake our training programme which will be done virtually and at a time to suit you.
- Have a basic DBS check (preferably be on the update system)
- Sign our volunteer contract. (If you disagree with anything in it please do discuss it with us and we will be happy to have a conversation and make small changes if appropriate).
- A positive attitude to disability and illness. We are happy to answer questions on this.
