We are Bees Abroad, working to enable communities to empower themselves, through sustainable beekeeping. Together with local beekeeper trainers and organisations we educate, guide, and mentor communities in local best practices in Beekeeping, business creation, and protecting the environment.
Whilst we are a small charity, we drive a lot of impact and have great ambition, funded by long-term supporters who are aligned with our work. We are looking for a Volunteer Grant Coordinator to support our current grant application cycles. This role prioritises managing and improving existing grant workflows, with scope to grow our grant funder base over time.
The role is well suited to someone who enjoys structured work, building systems, and working both solo and collaboratively with a small, impact-driven team. The individual will be working closely with our CEO and our Administrator.
Responsibilities:

The Role

This is a key operational role ensuring experiences run smoothly from planning through to completion, while also helping to secure activity sponsors for monthly charitable campaigns.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage activity bookings for campaign winners through partner providers

Liaise directly with creators and winners to arrange meet and greet experiences

Collect availability from winners for experiences booked on their behalf

Confirm bookings, manage logistics, and communicate details clearly to all parties

Main Responsibilities/ Key Duties

- Identify and diagnose technical issues, bugs, or system errors promptly, assessing root causes and prioritising fixes based on impact and urgency.

Hosted at Kingston University Townhouse, the event invites the community to participate in free performances, workshops, and exhibitions promoting cross-cultural understanding.
As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Graphic Designer to bring the visual identity of the project to life. From social media graphics to event branding and promotional materials, you will help ensure the festival’s visual storytelling is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with our mission. Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer will play a central role in shaping the visual communications for “Solta o Jogo” and other Quilombo UK initiatives. Working closely with the Creative Director and Marketing team, the designer will conceptualise and produce a range of creative assets across print and digital media. This is an ideal role for someone with strong design skills who is passionate about culture, community, and impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Development:

Study design briefs and translate project goals into compelling visuals.

Develop concepts, mock-ups, and final designs for social media, posters, presentations, merchandise, and web content.

Ensure all graphics are visually cohesive, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Design Production:

Use design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high-quality visuals.
