As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising volunteers use their passion for cats and people to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need. As a fundraising volunteer we want to support you to fundraise in whatever way suits you best, whether that’s organising a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, completing administration or supporting the development of new fundraising ideas! Whatever your skill set, this could be the role for you!

What we need from you

This is a eally flexible role, you can choose what you’d like to get involved with, for example: 

• face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins 

• online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations

• marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press  

• completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork

● championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement

● photography. Capturing images of cats in care, cats we are helping, events and all things Cats Protection

Time expectation

About Us

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C is a pioneering podcast, YouTube channel, and healing membership organisation dedicated to creating a safe platform for survivors and whistleblowers to share lived experiences, expose systemic failures, and promote healing through culturally trauma-informed care.

Our organisation combines healing, education, advocacy, and empowerment through honest storytelling and community transformation. We provide opportunities for young people and survivors to develop digital skills, participate in our interactive Alchemic 369 Book Club, and engage in transformative discussions around African, Caribbean, and world history, political thought, classics, and Ifa studies.

Job Purpose

The Volunteer Whistleblower Relations & Booking Officer will play a vital role in identifying, connecting with, and booking whistleblowers, former insiders, survivors, and experts linked to child abuse and institutional failures for podcast interviews and discussions.

The successful candidate will conduct research, outreach, relationship building, and guest coordination while professionally representing the organisation’s mission and values.

This role requires persistence, emotional intelligence, professionalism, confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills.

What You Will Do: arrange of business admin duties - 

• CEO Support: Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and handle administrative workflows.

• Fundraising Support: Help track grant applications and coordinate local fundraising events.
• Communications & Social Media: Create content using Canva and manage our active social media profiles.

Essential Skills:

• Tech Literacy: Mastery of the full Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams.
• Design Tools: Proficiency in Canva to create engaging social media and marketing graphics.
• Communication: Warm, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisation: Excellent time management and the ability to manage diverse administrative tasks.

Desirable Criteria:

• Driving License: A clean, valid UK driving license is highly preferred.
• Background Checks: A current Enhanced DBS check is ideal, though we can arrange this for you.

Commitment & Flexibility

• We require a commitment on our core days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Online days: Tuesday and Friday (will consider job share across 3 days)

Volunteer Project & Outreach Assistant (Youth & Community Development)Help shape opportunities for young people in London while gaining hands-on experience in fundraising, outreach, and project delivery.

Skills Development Training (SDT) is a London-based organisation dedicated to empowering young people through creative, educational, and wellbeing-focused programmes. We are looking for a proactive and passionate Volunteer Project & Outreach Assistant to work closely with our Director and support the growth and delivery of our community initiatives.

This is a flexible opportunity (1–2 days per week, remote and/or in-person) ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience in the charity sector, social enterprise, or community development.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting outreach and engagement with young people, partners, and community organisations

• Assisting with fundraising activities, including research and identifying funding opportunities

• Helping to promote programmes and events (social media, email, and local outreach)

• Providing general administrative support (emails, documents, coordination)

• Contributing ideas to grow the organisation’s impact and visibility

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of workshops, events, or training sessions

What we’re looking for

• Strong interest in youth development, community work, or social impact

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Self-motivated and able to take initiative

• Basic digital skills (email, documents, social media)
