We are Buttons & Bubbles C.I.C. We aim to increase inclusion and representation for the disabled community across society. We have several different services including bespoke characters, workshops, free resources, events, sensory trails and more. 

As we continue to grow, we are on a mission to make finding and accessing information around everything to do with disability easier. Hence, we're putting together a brand-new team of volunteers who are passionate about content and using the power of social media for good

Who Are We Looking For?

Our Short Break Activity Sessions enable disabled children to access fun, inspirational and challenging leisure activities that build life skills and promote independence whilst providing carers with vital short break respite.

With our support, disabled children and young people get to explore their interests, talents and develop vital life skills. Activities can lead to ASDAN accreditation. Short break activities build future hopes and aspirations and provide children with the confidence to achieve their full potential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist Caudwell Children staff member(s) in running the short break activity sessions

- Help to ensure all children are safe during the activity sessions

- Support staff members with planned activities

- Participate in setting up an activity and helping with the set down

- Communicate and work with the children to ensure they have fun

What You’ll Do

Support staff and clients at the Mabel Churn Centre to create a warm, welcoming environment for older people living with dementia. You’ll help with social activities and mealtimes to ensure the day runs smoothly.

You will:

· Chat and engage with clients to build a friendly atmosphere

· Encourage and support participation in activities (e.g. arts, music)

· Set up tables and help serve meals and drinks

· Clear tables and keep the space clean and tidy

· Communicate with staff about client needs or concerns

Women’s Service Intern 

Assist Baytrees Women’s Service team with administrative tasks, event coordination, and direct engagement with service users and volunteers. You will help coordinate and assist in delivering workshops and activities that empower women and girls, while contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in the charity sector and community education settings, allowing you to develop practical skills in administration, communication, and programme delivery, and gain insight into women’s services and community-focused work.

Main responsibilities:

- Provide admin support, including data entry and record-keeping.

- Help plan and deliver events and workshops.

- Communicate with service users and volunteers.

- Prepare materials and resources for activities.

- Assist with feedback collection and basic monitoring tasks.

- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment.

- Follow Baytree’s policies and procedures.

- Complete volunteer questionnaires and evaluations as needed.

- Work directly with clients across Baytree services (e.g. youth clubs, workshops, reception, and befriending activities).

Use your expertise and experience to help the Froebel Trust reach, inspire and engage those working with young children.

The Froebel Trust is looking for two volunteers with a background in digital communications to join its Communications and Public Engagement Committee and help shape its work.

No previous committee experience is needed. You'll be supported to learn from others and to access training that suits your needs. You will need to commit around ten hours per year of voluntary time per year.

The Trust’s Communications and Public Engagement Committee members provide expertise in education, PR, marketing and communications. The committee advises the Trust’s Executive team on strategy and policy for the Froebel Trust's communication and public engagement activities. The committee reports to the Council of Trustees via the Communications and Public Engagement Committee Chair. 

Who we're looking for:

• An experienced communicator who can bring knowledge of digital communications tools and tactics, such as experience of using social media (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn), websites, podcast and films to engage audiences.
• Ideally they will have a thoughtful approach to, and experience of AI tools
• Insight into the challenges and opportunities for communications in today’s rapidly changing digital world
• Interest in or experience of early childhood education
• Available to attend at least two 1.5 hour long meetings per year on Zoom, typically in March and October, with flexibility for an additional hour-long workshop style meeting. We also hold an annual training session for all Froebel Trust staff and volunteers, attendance is encouraged but optional.
• Experience of working in education and / or the charity sector, and knowledge of Froebelian principles is desirable but by no means essential.
• You will need to share our commitment to improving early years education.

What you'll do

• Attend at least two meetings per year to help shape the strategic direction of the charity’s communications activities with particular emphasis on digital communications.

How it works

• The Trust’s Communications and Public Engagement Committee has at least three members at any one time. We are seeking to replace two members whose terms of office expire this year. The committee is chaired by a trustee.
• The Communications and Public Engagement Committee meets at least twice per year on Zoom.
• Most meetings are on Tuesdays or Wednesdays 12pm-1.30pm, typically in March and October, with flexibility for an additional session.
• Committee members are also invited to attend annual Froebel Trust whole team training for around two hours on Zoom. This is optional but attendance is encouraged.

Terms

• The role is voluntary and unpaid but out-of-pocket expenses are covered, if applicable.
• Members of the Committee are generally appointed for a three-year term, with renewal subject to Council agreement up to a maximum of six years. In exceptional circumstances and where there is a clear benefit to the Trust, a member’s term of office may be extended beyond the maximum of six years, subject to Council approval.

Swansea Carers Centre is a vibrant, welcoming Tier 2 charity supporting unpaid carers across the City & County of Swansea. Every year, over 1,800 carers access our services, and more than 10,500 carers have registered with us since our founding. We provide welfare benefits advice, counselling, respite opportunities, dementia support, young adult carer projects, volunteer‑led initiatives, training, social groups and more. Refugee Support Volunteer

Location: Folkestone, Kent (Wednesdays 12:00pm to 4:00pm) or Dartford, Kent (Fridays 10:00am to 1:00pm)
Time commitment: One half-day per week

Preferred commitment: We welcome applications from anyone able to volunteer regularly. While there is no minimum commitment, volunteers who stay for six months or longer often have the greatest impact and consistency for the refugees we support and allows volunteers to gain the most from their experience.

People In Need Today (PINT) | Volunteer, Liverpool

PINT has been supporting people experiencing homelessness since 2006, established in
London, delivering consistent, relationship-led outreach. PINT is launching in Liverpool this
summer and we are seeking volunteers to help on a weekly basis. Whether it is 2 hours per

About the Role

KLS is looking for a Treasurer Trustee to bring financial insight, sound judgement and strategic challenge to our Board. This is a rewarding opportunity to help a community-focused charity stay financially strong, well governed and able to make a lasting difference for people in Battersea and Wandsworth.

What You’ll Do

• Guide Board-level understanding of KLS’s finances, risks and long-term sustainability.

• Chair the Finance Committee and help turn financial information into clear, confident decisions.

• Ability to help others engage with finance in a practical, accessible way.

• Experience in finance, accountancy, audit, risk, grant management, charity finance, trusteeship or the voluntary and community sector.

• Understanding of charity finance, including monitoring restricted funds, reviewing management accounts, supporting reserves policy, preparing for audit or independent examination, and helping trustees understand financial risks.

• A professional accountancy qualification is welcome but not essential if you have broader financial leadership or governance experience. 

• Previous trustee experience is desirable but not essential.

Enthusiastic, hands-on volunteers needed to help provide food to the community. Bounds Green Food Bank is fortunate in receiving food and other donations from local supermarkets, businesses and individuals. We are grateful to our team of volunteer drivers who both collect and deliver on the food bank’s behalf each week. 

Hours: At any time during the week - this is a very flexible role and there is no minimum time commitment, can choose deliveries to suit your own schedule.

• A driver's license and your own vehicle

• WhatsApp, as this is how deliveries are organised

The role: 

• Each week a timetable showing scheduled food donations by local stores and businesses is posted on the volunteer drivers’ WhatsApp group

• Drivers indicate to the group that they are able to make a particular collection, adding their name to the schedule (this is editable by all chat members)

• Once collected, the donation will need to be delivered either to the hall or to a nearby storage facility according to instructions

• The food bank also makes up parcels for guests unable to access the hall in person. Drivers collect from the hall and deliver to guests, all of whom live within the surrounding area

Person specification: 

• Flexible

• Attend training as required (Zoom Induction)

• A patient and cheerful approach are helpful!
