Creative Space is looking for a volunteer with expertise in fundraising, EU grants, crowdfunding, angel investments etc. to support my funding and sustainability efforts as we grow our international impact-driven community ecosystem. 
We also have the possibility to 

Responsibilities include:

• researching grants, EU funding opportunities, foundations, and aligned funding sources
• supporting the writing and preparation of funding applications and also exploring collective fundraising opportunity with members and partners.
• helping build and organise a long-term funding pipeline and opportunities database

We are looking for someone who is structured, proactive, enjoys research, and is passionate about supporting meaningful social impact work. Experience or knowledge with grant writing or funding research is essential. 
In return, volunteers receive free access to the Creative Space community, events, networking opportunities, and the possibility to grow with an emerging international ecosystem for changemakers and purpose-driven work.

We are also very open to Collective Fundraising which includes the projects of our SDG-aligned solopreneur members and partner organisations with which we collaborate.

We are unable to accept volunteers who are under 16.

We are looking for friendly volunteers to support our Dereham charity shop by providing a warm welcome to our customers and processing sales through the till and card machine. The time you dedicate will help us to make the most of the incredible donations to our charity shops and raise more funds for our vital animal welfare work.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and serving them in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner
• Answering questions from customers, donors and supporters
• Processing sales through the till and card machine
• Helping with administration and reception duties around the till area
• Promoting Gift Aid and instore sales campaigns

Relevant training and support will be provided.

What we are looking for:

• Friendly, helpful and confident when working with the public
• Good communication and numeracy skills
• Previous customer service or retail experience would be beneficial but not necessary as full training will be given

Job Purpose

The HR Manager plays a vital role in supporting the vision and mission of Children With Voices by ensuring that all HR practices are fair, compliant, and aligned with safeguarding, equity, and community wellbeing. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and staff development to compliance and wellbeing initiatives. The HR Manager will be instrumental in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where staff, volunteers, and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee Daily HR Operations
   • Manage HR functions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organisational goals.
   • Champion safeguarding and equality in every aspect of HR practice.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
   • Lead fair and inclusive recruitment, ensuring diversity, equal opportunity, and alignment with our safeguarding responsibilities.
   • Deliver onboarding that instils Children With Voices’ values, safeguarding culture, and commitment to community impact.
3. HR Policies & Compliance
   • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment law, charity governance, and safeguarding legislation.

Person Specification

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in an HR management role, ideally within the charity or community sector.

About Crisis

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We believe everyone should have somewhere safe and warm to call home and are committed to ending homelessness. Every year we work side by side with thousands of people from all sections of our communities to help them rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind for good.

You will contribute to ending homelessness by:

Providing efficient and effective administration and support to the London-wide Services Christmas Case Management Team (CCMT). CCMT support people experiencing homelessness to move on from the Crisis at Christmas project into accommodation and to access relevant services.  We work with our members throughout the year after Christmas and take additional referrals from trusted partner agencies.  We are a pan-London, outreach-based service, committed to ending homelessness for each person we work with.

Core tasks

• Research and identify external services and provision across London that could be beneficial to help our members transition out of homelessness
• Creating and regularly updating a Central Services Spreadsheet accessible to all our London-based member-facing staff
• Contacting services via telephone and email
• Liaising with colleagues within the London-wide Services Teams and the London, Brent and Croydon Skylights
• Work collaboratively with and help support fellow volunteers on the project
• Assist with other general admin tasks (e.g., printing, photocopying, scanning and shredding), as required
