Why we want you

As branch chair you and your branch members will create a range of activities to help spread the word about SSAFA within your community. To ensure that our Armed Forces community know that SSAFA are here to help and that we need the public’s support to continue offering our services.

What you will be doing

• Overseeing an appropriate programme of awareness raising activities so that potential beneficiaries, volunteers and supporters are aware of SSAFA as first in mind for support.
• Building relationships with the regional and national SSAFA team, local voluntary organisations and, if applicable, SSAFA serving community teams, local military establishments, etc.
• Attending events as a key SSAFA representative.
• Providing timely reports and information to SSAFA’s central office
• Overseeing a programme of meetings including an AGM, branch meetings, committee meetings, training etc.
• Working with other volunteers, regional and national team members to attract and recruit new volunteers as required.
• Work closely with the community engagement co-ordinator to recruit, welcome, induct, support, and manage volunteers in line with SSAFA policies, such as the Volunteering Policy, Volunteer Code of Conduct, Data Protection Policy, and Safeguarding Policy.

Our C.I.C. exists to confront and expose the realities of childhood sexual abuse (CSA), centre survivor truth and accountability, support young people into economic empowerment, and build community-owned, open-source systems that serve people rather than capital.

As our Founding Marketing Automation & Funnel Specialist, you will design and maintain the ethical digital workflows that connect campaigns, content, and community engagement.

You will not inherit a finished digital system.
You will help architect it.

Your work will ensure that automation supports participation rather than pressures it. You will design structured, logic-based workflows that guide volunteers, donors, members, and supporters through respectful, safeguarding-aligned digital journeys.

This role blends technical configuration with strategic thinking. You must be comfortable building systems, analysing performance, documenting processes, and collaborating with marketing and leadership teams.

Experience Qualification and Requirements

• Experience or strong working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.

Overview

No Panic is a national charity, supporting people with a variety of anxiety issues, providing self-help advice over our helpline and additional support services.

We are building a team of volunteers to produce and distribute introduction material about No Panic to service users, members, students and volunteers.

We are looking for a volunteer to co-ordinate this team.

Activities

Activities will include reviewing the introduction material; assigning editing tasks to team members;  monitoring progress; reviewing content and overseeing distribution.

The Co-ordinator might also do the editing, if no volunteers are available.

We anticipate this volunteering will take up about 3-4 hours per week and ask our volunteers to commit to at least a year.

Desired Skills

Successful applicants will be committed and motivated.

They will be confident, and have the skills to run a team.

They will be able to produce and edit documents of varying lengths to a high standard and be able to write and communicate with clarity.

A reference will be required.

Pedal Away is a community-based cycling scheme that enables people to ride, regardless of their age, ability or cycling experience. We have Pedal Away Cycle Hubs at a limited number of locations which will allow you to realise your passion for all things two-wheels. Our Pedal Away rides are pitched at a level so that anyone can join in no matter how long it's been since you were last on a two-wheeled bike. They are social rides aimed to turn people from beginner to independent and confident cyclist, away from traffic and are led by experienced ride leaders.

We’re looking for a Volunteer Grant Writer who can support us in researching, drafting, and submitting funding applications. This role is perfect for someone who loves crafting compelling narratives, enjoys the challenge of matching projects to funders, and wants to make a meaningful impact from anywhere in the UK.

You’ll play a vital part in helping us build a sustainable foundation for our start-up charity—turning our ideas and pilot plans into fundable, high-quality proposals.

What You’ll Support

• Grant Writing: Draft clear, persuasive funding applications that reflect our mission, values, and impact.

• Research: Identify suitable trusts, foundations, and small grant opportunities for early-stage charities.

• Collaboration: Work closely with our Founder, Board and leadership team to gather information, shape budgets, and refine proposals.

• Income Generation: Help us secure the seed funding needed to launch our first programmes and build long-term sustainability.

Ideally, You Will Bring

• Experience writing grant applications or strong transferable writing skills.

• An ability to translate ideas into structured, compelling narratives.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• A passion for tackling loneliness and improving wellbeing in communities.

Commitment & Flexibility

This is a remote, fully flexible volunteer role with no set hours. You choose when and how you give your time, and you can step back at any point if your circumstances change.

The difference you will make to cats and people

If you enjoy driving and would love to use those skills to help our cats, this could be the role for you. Our transport volunteers provide vital assistance to our teams and volunteer groups in the local area by transporting equipment, litter, food – and even cats! They have the essential role of connecting our network of volunteers, sites, vets and supporters.

Without the passionate and committed teams of volunteers across Cats Protection, we wouldn’t be able to help the thousands of cats and kittens each year that rely on us for help.

You can expect us to

What we need from you

You’ll be:

• Arranging and transporting equipment, litter and cat food
• Transporting cats to and from vets, foster homes and centres
• Transporting equipment to and from events

Time expectation

Our transport volunteers usually spend two to four hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

Description

RNIB is looking for enthusiastic and noisy volunteers to join our London Landmarks Half Marathon Cheer Squad on Sunday 12th April 2026. Lend your voice and energy to cheer on our amazing runners at the RNIB Cheer Point which will be near Embankment Station. If you can spare a few hours of your time, you can make a difference by motivating and supporting our inspirational runners.
